If a man can't provide, he shouldn't look for marriage. Sara is right, bills is the mans responsibility, once a woman helps out the more the man starts to take advantage of her. A woman shouldn't have the pressure of having a job or to pay half the bills, when we know deep down the household and cooking duties will always be the woman's role. So why does she have to do everything. Of course if you expect to live a more luxurious lifestyle and your husband's earnings isn't sufficient and you don't mind chipping in, that's up to the woman.

Yeah I don’t understand some Muslims today, like do they know their own religion 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s the man’s obligation in islam, why should women be made to feel guilty for not getting a job

      Honestly!
Why would a girl leave her father’s house where she is taken care of to go and struggle with a man who expects sex, meals, childbirth, and rent money???
      Women are getting duped….

A 50/50 relationship is basically a roommate situation. As an unmarried female I do everything on my own, mortgage, bills, lifestyle, etc. I don’t need a husband who can’t sustain our home by himself. Many men constantly say we as women take away their manhood however, when 50/50 comes into place it is the men who is giving it up.

Hey guys!! I've been watching you since Epi. 1 but I guess this is my first time commenting. I just wanna start with a dua and ask Allah to grant you both wonderful spouses who become the coolness of your eyes. While I know the pressure is pressuring and you obviously need to put in the work, I also want to remind you that such things truly happen when you least expect it. Marriage is a Rizq (provision) and whether you receive that Rizq 2 months from now or 2 years from now, there's goodness in Allah's plan every time. Love your podcast and take care!

You’re a real one 🩷 Ameeeeen, we appreciate the du’ahs! I ask the same for you (if you’re not married) 🥰
Great reminder for sure, definitely helps to ease the stress we’re feeling from the sudden pressure coming our way haha. Thank you for commenting 🫶🏾

I think the man shouldn't marry if he can't provide for a family. If you expect your wife also provide for a family (money) then you should also do a household duties as much as she does, you should spend the same quality time with children and e.t.c. Cause it is not fair that man will have 1 job and woman at least 3 jobs. Also then you get pragnant it is a woman who postpones her career (she loses at least 15% promotion each year). Mind that childcare takes 24 hours per day, job takes 8-9 hours a day and it is less exhausting.

Here in Nigeria we face the same issue regarding marriage, to think we different ethnic groups in one country but our parents prefer we marry people from our own tribe, Infact it’s a must in other tribes.

16:05 that’s really interesting…. 😮 were you thinking of “proverb”? In the Somali language, the word for that is MAAHMAAH so.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maahmaah
Some of my favorite ones are:
    1) habar fadhido lagdan la fudud (basically means… wrestling is pretty easy for an old woman sitting - generally used when someone is giving you suggestions, saying something is easy, etc whilst just observing)
    2) Af daboolan waa dahab (a covered/sealed mouth is gold…pretty self explanatory)
    3) Ninkii soo joog laga waayo soo jiifaa laga helaa (this one is low key hilarious because we’ve all been there… it means “for the one who refuses to stop [whatever it is that ppl are telling them isn’t good for them] they will surely come to lie down submissively” lol just imagine in your head a clip of someone being hard headed not listening and then it cuts to the next scene of them in bed with an ice pack looking like a miskeen 😂)

I tried to reply to this like 3 times but YT kept removing my comment lol. Anyways, I wanted to say how cool it is that the words sound similar in the respective languages tooo- makhmakha (harari) and maahmaah in Somali! I love the examples you provided haha. Thank you for sharing!! ☺️
