As a guitar player I find guitar easier then piano, like I’m sure a piano player finds it easier then guitar. But I can’t see at all what you think is easy about this. There’s so many more layers and no backing track to rely on for the melody.

Its probably due to the original song being barely recognizable to the mass audience.
