As a retired police officer with near 40 years this is embarrassing she needs to be fired immediately. Hitting a handcuffed individual is an assault. She needs to be prosecuted and fired. She also filed a false police report. That’s even worse. Every case she is involved with needs to be investigated.

As a former cop, I can see exactly what is going on here. Contempt of Cop kills more people than anything else. You have a female cop...she is overweight, not attractive and she gets her self-respect from her badge. She tells people what to do and they do it. So when she tells this woman to get out and the woman doesn't immediately comply, she is outraged and embarrassed that her colleagues will see her as not effective. So she gets more and more outraged as she tries to pull the woman out and the fact that she can't get her out quickly, increases her embarrassment and outrage. She becomes a thug and forgets that there are cameras rolling and she may have to explain herself. She needs a time-out in state prison.

They didn’t bat an eye at the behavior or look upset or surprised. And dude was trying so hard to tase her when he had a front row to see female cop was unhinged & woman in vehicle was not posing a physical threat at any time. Most normal citizens would step in to stop a friend of theirs on behalf of the stranger if they saw them doing this. They’d be yelling at their friend “what the hell are you doing?” & pulling them off. The only ones who act like this- back up the friends no questions asked when it’s clearly psycho- are criminal organizations, mobsters & gangs.

Personally I say that as soon as the handcuffs go on, they are usually not a threat anymore. Anything she did to that woman after the cuffs were on was unnecessary and also illegal. The deputy should not only be fired, but also charged with assault, and unnecessary use of force. According to the report, this deputy has used unnecessary force more than once. One time can be a one time thing, but two times and you are starting to see a pattern. Three times and it is undeniable that their is a problem. This deputy seems to fall under the third option here. She will eventually kill someone, or maybe even get herself shot because of her anger control (or lack thereof) and she may need to be fired to try and save her from herself.

First you start with her “trying” to help her up off the ground. WRONG! Every LE Training Facility would have to give her a triple F on that, then you don’t just turn away from someone in cuffs and walk away from them.
That is probably why she was so mad because the woman got up on her own but it’s the “officer’s” fault for leaving her alone.
Second punching her in the face when she is cuffed and appeared to do nothing to provoke that Assault. Yes, that was Assault!
Finally when she threw her head into the front of the cruiser THAT very easily could be considered Aggravated Assault or worse!
That “Officer” should be in jail before the day was over! And I say this as a former LEO and disabled Veteran.
I sincerely hope this victim sues all three officers that were see at the scene and the department!!! The victim was not trying to pull a gun or did not appear to be trying to flee the scene so there was no reason for this traffic stop to escalate to that level of violence by that “Officer”. And yes I’m using that term very loosely in this situation!
She has no business wearing a badge!!! And the other two that were in the video should be ashamed for not pulling her away and telling her to chill out to begin with!!!! That is why they are just as culpable, IMO.

Had a reserve cop show me you can put them on their side, and make them scissor their legs for stability. Help them sit up. Then tell them to bend their left leg into their right leg, forming a triangle. Tell them on count of three, they need to use their legs to stand up. Rock them forward, and they should get up. This way, you're using more leverage, trying to get somebody off the ground, instead of pulling all their weight up....all with having your grip on the cuff links. Positive control is important....it can be used by the suspect as a deadly weapon if the double locks aren't used, or fail.

The victim here should sue the department and the 3 officers need disciplinary actions taken against them. The female officer should have charges brought against her by the DA and the 2 male officers need to be severely reprimanded. The older one for helping to escalate the situation and the younger for not trying to de-escalate the situation.... This is disgusting. And I will say this, this wasn't the first time she has done this. You can tell by everything from her actions and her reactions. PATHETIC.

@ James Porter I agree with all of that except should not be a reprimand for the younger one. As much authority as police hold over us, there is even more held over the junior officers by the senior ones. A junior officer should not be forced to destroy their career, to contradict the actions of another cop, esp actions which they did not initiate nor support. We cannot determine from this video what the younger guy did/didn't see, but it seems to me he rushed in after the head-butt into teh car and escorted the person away from the assailing officer.
