Like the Video. Thanks. I hope to see Tesla future come to reality. I am all in and when Tesla hit $101/share I bought another 80 shares at $109.00. I am all in and I beginning to have more hope as Tesla expands it new projects Think Positive is how I feel
Good plan, I’m all in from 2019, sold a large portion but still have 9000 shares.
If Optimus drove a Tesla with FSD, would that make the system "double redundant"? 🤔😜🤣
Maybe triple steerin already dbl redundant
I've bought more shares
that must have been mine……..
Smart man.
Great summary, Lars! Another excellent video.
Hope u bought this week!!
@@AS-cd5wfbuy this week if ur still bullish
13:25 Imagine the factory runs 3 shifts, one robot does not save only 1 salary but three. No flu season either.
Or light bills or plumbing problems
Exactly! Once businesses realise this they will want Optimus so bad they will practically fight each other to get one, also expect the few early ones sold to fetch ridiculous prices on the market!
Or CRAMPS headaches call in drunk or horass
Putting it all together is nice and helpful. Thank you.
There are unsettled times. Tesla will capitalize on that with their self-reliance and focus on the goal.
Imagine an Optimus getting in a CT and driving off 😍
Soon danielson soon
Would make sense only if Optimus then performs the task which was the purpose of the CT journey!
???
I like that Tesla ordered supplies for 90,000 vehicles. Now what's to stop them from ordering supplies for another 90,000 vehicles next week, then repeat the following week. Ordering supplies doesn't mean there is a cap on production. There is no time frame on how fast thing are going.
You have nothing to worry about their position. Now Elon would have his hands relieved of spinning the plates now that BYD has overtaken. Shortsellers will now have to point their attention to BYD. HAHAHA... THEIR IN A WORLD OF PAIN NOW that everyone is gonna follow. Either BYD Accelerate production or get themselves sandwiched.
So a solar farm in IUKA Ms ain’t such a bad idea huh ?

BYD are only selling more cars than Tesla because some of them are hybrids which do not count because Tesla do not sell Hybrids.@@questioneryusef8264

Good job with the 41 shares. Keep adding slowly and look several years out.
What happens if I buy 215 shares? Will the next 10 years be good return?
Great news
Thanks Lars .. your drive to produce amazing episodes is unmatchable.. even by Optimus one day!
Hope not in near future jus sayin
I drive Uber in model 3 std range. I'd love to ask an engineer how they get the RWD to function so well in the worst snow weather conditions. It's crazy good. I've driven in snow for 36 years. I was very concerned and somehow they made this work. How? It doesn't compute.
Was confused with this as well. Everyone saying it was slippery out there. Didn't feel it.
@@danielbaven8788 I've driven for 36 years in snow/ice. Everyone like me knows you don't hit the brakes on ice. But what if I'm in an EV and I just take my foot off the accelerator? Turns out my Tesla acted like my gas car in that scenario. But how? Never met a high IQ engineer that had a clue about such things. They know theories and equations, but real life, feet on the ground manual labor? No way. How did they get my car to work so effectively?
Sounds like a great advertisement for Tesla! I would guess it due to more weight distributed to the rear, as having no heavy engine at the front and having the electric motor at the back with the weight of some of the battery.
@@MH-TeslaI think the software micro adjusts the traction control and braking to use your tire cohesion with the snow to the maximum. I have a P85D with snow tires. You prolly have good snow tires on your Tesla too. Tires are super important, imho.

You are the very best Tesla News on the planet. No mainstream BS media with fake news about Elon, no BS about fake recalls, no BS about -insert whatever excuse MSM uses against Tesla-.
I've been following you for years, despite the pain for not owning a Tesla yet, they're not in my country, but at least I'm saving money for whatever Tesla I can afford in Chile.
12:38 LOL, for the job to move those rims with tyres from a trailer onto a conveyor device does not require a humanoid robot! What a shame that this simple task still gets done by employees instead of a pretty simple stationary robot.
What do you expect from a fanboy? Optimus and FSD are probably at least 5 years away from having a positive impact on Tesla financials. Long term I'm bullish, midterm I expect headwinds as far as stockprice is concerned.
Th pace of innovation is th true catalyst in 2024
Fantastic video, Lars. Thanks!
Thanks for another great video Lars!!
Thanks Lars, another informative post👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Lars, don’t worry about Tesla selling the most BEVs
Tesla does not need to sell the most cars.. just make the most money off them.
Think Apple vs Samsung (android) . Yes android phones sell more, but Apple gobbles up the most profits.
(in 3rd world countries, there are a lot of local cell phone providers/manufacturers, but you really never here about them)
BYD can be the Android phone. Let Tesla be the Apple.

The first post-delivery day figures I heard about said 65%-35% on new reservations.

When legacy automakers say, "There is no demand for EVs," they mean, "Our dealership customers don't want to sell them."
they don't want to sell them because they sit on the lots unsold
In 12 months, there will be more CT out there than f150 lightning. I said it when the lightning debuted first. Mark my words!
A 1 year payback was always considered a no-brainer decision.
When its released gets approved they should give everyone 1 month free and see how many keep it.

2.2 million deliveries is a solid target; mine is roughly the same. 2025 and 2026 growth will be much higher.
2.35 million vehicle capacity tells us a lot.
Thanks as always, Lars!
Something that Wall Street and the so called analysts miss is that at this rate Tesla will be producing over 5 million EVs by the end of 2026. So in just 2 short years Tesla will be selling more EVs than Ford sells vehicles of any type!
When that happens I wonder what excuse or nonsense Gordon 'the clown' Johnson or CNBS etc will say about it?
4:55) “wait for Cybertruck?” Oh yeah. My revivifier expects his October ‘26: Doc ordered May 2021.
6:20 Hey Lars! Great video - that would not be 9 billion U.S dollars of revenue due, as that assumes that every dollar made from the truck would net 100% profits, and ignores investment R&D cost, material costs, logistics costs, and manufacturing costs.
revenue is not profit. it is income before expenses.
The stock price definitely shocked many investors for sure.....
Excellenct..............1492.............Different time same sheeeple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm thinking 2.4 million units in 2024.
Some good, well placed ads could really drive demand if prices account for affordability issues. Even with somewhat lack lustre growth, Tesla will continue pulling further ahead of the ICE legacy makers but I would really like to see a bunch of exciting home runs from them this year. Get the IRA rebates back for Model 3s. 2.5M+ sales. Energy 150%+ growth. FSD sales ramped. More Super Chargers and maybe a bunch of new partnerships with legacy along the way...like Ford subscribing to FSD. Tesla has so much going for it that 2024 will definitely be its best year yet. Not as good as 2025 or 2026 etc. but Best in Tesla today yep!
You forgot the soon to be trillion annual revinew stream from auto insurance, and double that when expanded into all insurance markets
Nobody makes anything near that on insurance anywhere in the World. The world car insurance market isn't worth that. Google says total motor insurance revenue worldwide was $830 billion last year. That's for all cars in the world. However, insurance will, indeed, ramp and become a profit centre and have knock-on benefits to Tesla vehicle sales as it will reduce the cost of ownership. This will bring Tesla ownership within the budgets of more people.

What happened to the Semi truck sales and pricing ?
They've been quietly building them at low speed while monitoring usage data from Pepsico and their own fleet (about 70 trucks). Tesla's Lars said to Jay Leno that the semi has been updated quite significantly in response to that feedback and when they're happy with it and when the 4680 ramps further they can ramp semi production. 4680 is needed for cybertruck and semi as well as some model Ys. It will get there.
Its a trashy truck nobody wants!
Tesla WILL sell every Tesla semi for th rest of th DECADE!!!

My first thought about Teslas bot is Mars....The first Starship that needs to land and come back before humans can go might as well take building materials and some bots to start building The required Starbase....
Refueling station on th moon first
Those figures for the Cybertruck are impressive. But, Installation of a Tesla charge-station at home for 480 Euro. What's that ? A 230V socket on a wall? Shouldn't we be talking a 3-phase wall unit? I think the marketing dept. "forgot" that the rest of the world has 3-phase wildly available at every supermarket or company. And for a small fee also at home.
Think about this Tesla maybe the Savior for the legacy automakers.... Wouldn't that be ironic being that Tesla is the one that is causing them to go broke now. The Tesla optimus bot could replace the UAW The Tesla software and possibly Tesla battery powered chassis for legacy autobodies to go on could save legacy Auto but Tesla's going to be making an insane amount of money in the process. Not sure if it'll happen but it would be ironic. Thank you I'm going to subscribe I like your channel
As ironic as rain on a wedding day Optimus to replace the UAW

Lars, please investigate: I recently learned that a Danish Inventor has created a form of solid ammonia. He has tasked this discovery with treating harmful diesel vehicle emissions to reduce the output of environmentally threatening emissions by an estimated 99%! If this invention is accepted by the automotive industry it may delay the demise of ICE vehicles. At least for the trucking industry this may act to further delay the implementation of electric based Semi trucks. Is 1% deadly emissions enough to gamble the delay of climate change? If this invention proves effective it may mean that Tesla will need to produce vehicles far more cheaper than ICE vehicles!
Meanwhile, the stock is dropping like a rock.
But toyoda said people don't want Evs anymore and that they're finally waking up?
Not too premature

I love your show! Just wanted to help you improve it by letting you know that 15:07 the term "licing" is not an actual word 😢. I think that you wanted to say licensing. I wouldn't have said it, if it was a one time mistake, but I've actually heard you say it a couple of times before. But I still love your show just the same, it doesn't really matter too much to me, but it may does to other people. That's why it would be better to say it correctly.
I heard that, too, and I'm pretty pedantic but I knew what he mean. I keep reminding myself that Lars is talking fast and very clearly in English, which is not his first language. He's Danish. I bet his English is a tiny bit better than our Danish!
Lars, you rock!

Ford needs to sit down with Tesla for providing drive train/battery and UI tech to incorporate to their EVs.
I think that will be announced in 2024 and that's why Ford have already rowed back on their existing production. They are quietly planning a revamp using Tesla drivetrain. Only my suspicion, though.

The shortsellers will now focus on BYD. TESLA HAS NOW BYD SHIELD.
shorts will claim that Tesla has lost their crown to BYD and their success story is over. Ironically admitting that Tesla indeed had the crown and ruled over "competition coming"
The next generation vehicle was anoused years ago. It definitely has progressed but its production is as still as elusive as ever. I am hopeful the Tesla has been sandbagging and the production at Texas is near complete. Then there becomes another problem. The Mexico factory hasn’t even broken ground and production of the next gen. Vehicle there in volume is years away. The sales of the next Gen Vehicle in low volume will cut into sales of the 3 and Y while not being able to satisfy demand. Making for quite a problem
Hmmmmm, should one seriously consider buying some TESLA shares even though Warren Buffet apparently is still not in on buying/owning the share … 🤷🏼♂️ 🤷♀️
Consideration is appreciated tytyty
Lars, did you just boost the value of TESLA stock by putting out this great Vlog telling the world about the great position they are in? and I was hoping the stock price would continue dropping in the days before the next stock split (are we looking at the end of this month for that to happen?) Sometimes people have to think for themselves but you are putting a carrot out there for them to chase......just a thought....
Why would there be a stock split at around $240 when there was no split at $400? A stock split will result in a one day bounce and that's about it.
I’m a long term holder, but I am sure getting tired of hearing about all these catalysts every few months. My optimism about huge gains someday is gone.
Get ready for losses I'd say
The overly optimistic sometimes do as much mental damage as the Tesla haters do. Tesla has great products and if you can stick with them for a few more years, I believe you will see wonderful things in cars, batteries, robots, computers, and energy. FSD will likely take longer to see big things from.
@@richb2229I agree with you. I really need to stop watching this daily diet of rah rah from all the RUclips guys. First, it’s extremely repetitive, second, it’s overhyping the hell out of the stock. I think the only real potential for the stock to move significantly is Optimus, and energy.
If you’re a long term holder, what difference does it make? If you don’t want to hear about it, don’t listen.

Buy and hold and stop watching the daily prices. They're irrelevant. Up 100+% in 2023 but it was up and down like a yoyo during that time. Ignore the yoyo. If you can't ignore it then it's not the stock for you. It's for "buy and hold" people convinced by the underlying business plan. "Revitalisation" (I'm British) will come when Optimus starts to be actively used in the factories and maybe before but who cares? If we're in it for the long-haul and it reaches 20X who cares whether that's in 2 years or 4 years?
Thanks Lars. From your lips to Wall Street's ears!! 😅
You are assuming that the Buzzard vomit on Wall Street actually have a functional brain.
Tesla has been brilliant so far.
I have a question that no one seems to want to answer.
Can you please address if the electrical field emissions at charging stations, and from the vehicles batteries -- that one is basically sitting on and feet almost touching. Even Apple says not to sleep near their Iphones and here is something maybe 1000 x bigger.
So is there or not any concerns and are there any remedies eg shields etc ?
Electrician here: Direct Current (DC) power systems, including batteries, DO NOT create electrical fields in the same way that Alternating Current (AC) systems do. This is why you cannot use transformers to change DC voltage up or down. The inverter in an EV converts the DC power from the batteries into AC power used by the AC motors, and while this process does create electromagnetic fields (EMF), the metal casing on this equipment provides shielding from the majority of the effects from those fields.
The charging stations take AC power from the grid and convert it into DC, so there are EMF fields at the points where this conversion process occurs, but those fields will only project a foot or two beyond the cabinets. The EMF field on an extension cord or Christmas lights only projects out about 6 inches from the cord.
The reason you are not supposed to sleep with a cell phone is that it is projecting radio waves for both the cellular network and WIFI, and while they are a type of EMF, they are designed to travel through space and objects in order to send and receive that EMF. The EMF from power cords and power equipment is NOT meant to travel through space and objects (other than the conductors), since that would be a drain on the power system.
Thanks GoCoyote. Clear answer to a very technical question.👍🏽
@@GoCoyote Thank you for explaining that! Finally someone speaks LOL . I couldn't fathom Musk just ignoring it if it was a problem. So that explains it.
In their spare time, Tesla engineers need to build next gen nuclear for Mars and also solve worlds energy problem.
Just a Car company 😂
How do you think Tesla engineers have any spare time at all? They're all mission-driven and burn out in a few years and retire rich. Have you watched Farzad's channel? He lasted 4 years but he's set for life. He's an absolute star.
When is this shock coming? They keep saying it is coming but i seem to have missed it. It never came for me.
It’s happening now,all around the world 🌍 😊
shock masks the pain for a while, people notice it only after cries of agony start sounding loder and louder.
Another key is the much higher net profit margin Tesla receives compared to other auto manufacturers producing EV's. BYD may make more EV's now per quarter but their profit margins are much smaller and on cars that sell for around 1/2 what a Tesla sells for and their highest selling models also have low driving range in comparison. So, Tesla will continue to keep making more in net profit than BYD. Other companies like Ford are taking huge losses on each EV sold (around 33k/truck on the F150 lightning) so they can't even make a profit on EV's as they are trying to build them using old gas-powered platforms. Also, legacy auto is carrying huge long-term debt. Both GM and Ford have over 100 billion each in long term debt. Tesla has less than 100 million in long term debt. So legacy auto isn't looking too good for the future. As long as Tesla continues to ramp up and execute, they will have no problem becoming the main EV provider and the main energy refilling station of the future.
Mass adoption of the "Model 2" must have a price under $30k. A price 50% over the target price of $25k, like what happened with the CyberTruck would be a giant problem and more importantly fail to serve Tesla's mission of mass adoption. Make it safe and affordable with a range of at least 250 miles and don't stress the bells and whistles so much. Please.
I am concerned about Tesla FSD in Mexico, where I live in retirement. I tell people that "Mexicans drive recklessly, but with great courtesy." The village where I live has narrow streets, creative parking, and driving would be impossible except for the fact that everybody knows if they don't co-operate, nobody "wins". The whole concept of territoriality on the road ("my trip is more important than your trip, I'm not gonna let you in front of me") is absent here.
Cooperation supersedes legality in some cases. For example, nobody will think anything of it if someone who is third in a line stopped at a red light pulls out into the oncoming lane (which, of course is blocked by the red light so no oncoming cars) and drives the 25 meters to the intersection to make an illegal left turn. If you are on a cross street with no traffic control and you want to turn left onto the main road, no more than three or four cars will go by before someone slows down, flashes their lights for you to pull out in front of him. When the Coca Cola delivery truck needs to back out of the abarrote parking lot onto the carretera, he can't see the road because of other parked cars. He just _slowly_ backs out onto the road, cars will go around him until there is no more room, then they stop short, let him out to continue on his way. Nobody is upset, or honking their horn, or even impatient. "We'll go when the truck goes, and meanwhile it's a nice day."
Driving can be scary here if you expect everybody to drive by US rules and procedures. Once you get used to it, or as my wife says "Drive like a Mexican", it's rather nice.
I'm sure that Tesla FSD would be fully capable (and obligated!) of following all the laws... but in our driving conditions here, not particularly effective in getting you where you want to go.
40 seconds in and youve said 'twenty twenty three' twice and 'twenty twenty four FOUR times.
So what?
People won't need a licence
So far this year everyday we watch Tesla RUclips info commercials saying how great Tesla is doing yet the stock drops in price almost every day.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? TSLA doubled in price in 2023!
Meh. Quit watching the daily price except as a buying opportunity. My total buy in $11,260, took profit twice (amounting to $33,000), remaining stocks worth roughly $50,000 +/- a few thousand. I'm happy, still buy a few shares here and there on the drops.

I am becoming frustrated at the non performance of Tesla. The 50% average growth rate is looking to becoming a pipe dream unless Tesla can pull a huge rabbit out of the hat with the next generation vehicle. It’s is possible but the growth required each year keeps getting harder and harder. Since Elon anoused the 50% average growth rate it’s only been achieved once which was the first year , 2021 where Tesla grew a massive 87% when the numbers were smaller. If Tesla sets a 2024 number of 2.2M it will be another year of falling growth rate. 50% growth in 2024 would be 2.7 M so a short fall this year of a massive 500,000. To make that up in 2026 would need a huge INCREASE of 1.8M. It’s an even larger numbers in 2026 and beyond. My confidence is waning

Hello. I normally like your videos. And mostly agree with all you say.
But… I think you are out of line now.
I own a FSD model S and believe me it does not have FSD. At all. Just fog or rain or the sun make it turn off. There is just no logical way it will become FSD any time soon.
And I did ask service about that. They of course said is the beta. Ok…
Yet. I had a newer model 3 loaner for service and it does drive a lot better. And they said is because your old engines. But I was asking about the driving itself. Not about the drive train at all. My car has upgraded computer and cameras. Yet the old wires can not drive as a new model. Again with fully paid FSD.
I think there is a massive settlement lawsuit for all of us that paid FSD.
Literally FSD is a joke. And also this is my worst experience with a 60 thousand dollar car in USA. Service is terrible and unreliable.
Also. A scratch on the paint will cost you what it cost a whole Corolla haha.
If I could go back on time I would not have this car. Even that I have free charging for life and internet.
The Intro is to long
YOUR VIDEOS HAVE BECOME ALL THE SAME
and your casing is ALL THE SAME. Do you have any valid point to make? Lars produces news videos on Tesla and the EV market in general. If the news is largely similar to last week then the content will be similar but NOT the same. If his vids were the same they'd have the same length and identical content. That's what "the same" means. Oh, and try a bit of punctuation and to have an original thought before you comment and then try to work out how the caps lock key works.
Being in a better position to be beaten by BYD.
Better save your STOCK!!!
Tesla has been strangling production in both Texas and Berlin so Elon doesn’t have to advertise…
The brand damage may already be irretrievable.
Cheapening your product is a terrible idea. Tesla has a 4% market share so demand should be very easy.
I don't understand comments about "brand damage" when the brand has four of the top ten best-selling EV models in the world and the best-selling car of any fuel type.
@whowhy9023, thanks for your insight…..
First point: Best selling vehicle on the planet. Second point: It's in their mission statement and master plan from 17 years ago. Accelerate the World to sustainable transportation: Sell profitable high-end cars then reinvest the profits to produce cheaper cars, ramp to scale and profile and repeat". Prices will INEVITABLY reduce because that's what's needed to achieve the Tesla mission.
