You're welcome! I'm glad to hear that you appreciate the effort that goes into capturing the beauty of nature. Thank you for watching and supporting the video work, it means a lot. I hope you continue to enjoy the stunning scenery in future videos!
Thank you! It definitely takes some effort to set up and retrieve the cameras, but the stunning scenery makes it all worth it in the end. Happy to hear you enjoyed the video work!
First of, very nice video again, really gives back the atmosphere and quietness. Question, why do you blow air into the drybag before pressing it out again? This way you force air through the seems. I prefer to press air out and make it as vacuum as possible before folding up. What a coincidence, or not as there are not that many bars, but except from the Zafrilla bar, I visited all the same bars like you did.
Phenomenal video! The little push I needed to book my flight in October, Montañas Vacías looks like the ultimate bikepacking route, absolutely amazing scenery! Cheers from Norway 🇳🇴
Whow, you really captured the feeling travelling by bike gives me. Love your way of filming 😍. And I love cycling through Spain. Lots of new inspiration 😁
I am grateful for your kind words and I am glad that my videos resonate with you. It motivates me to keep creating and sharing the wonders of our natural world. Have a great day!
Right! That’s what I like about Spain so much. If one were to do the XL Montañas Vacías route I’m pretty sure the diversity would be even greater. Spain’s interior is highly underrated.
You're welcome! I will definitely continue to showcase the beauty of nature in my videos. Thank you for your support and encouragement, it truly means a lot to me.
This video is really, really emotional, Tristan! I enjoyed the quite atmospheres you translate in images and sequences: I love this way to make your videos, always, but this time you did your best! Thnx for all what you share!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I put a lot of time and effort into capturing the beauty of nature, so it means a lot to hear that you appreciate it. I hope you continue to enjoy the stunning scenery in future videos!
I echo the sentiments from your followers. You showed a clip of you locking your bike and that is a question I’ve always had watching a number of bikepacking videos: what do you do to protect your bike from potential thievery? Thank you for that and of course, continue with the great work.
Dankjewel Stijn!
Spectacular video, as usual. It’s impressive to see how many back and forth you have to do to fetch your camera in order to take this incredible third person footage. 😊
Beautiful video and great advertisement for the area you're tidying though! Should really explore this place one day ... Got a gear question, though: I saw you're carrying your bottles around your waist. Any reason you didn't mount them onto your bike? And what product is that belt btw?
You should! I carry bottles on my waist because it feels more convenient since I can reach them there without having to stop. Also, they get less warm as they’re shielded from sunlight a little better. The hip bag is from Patagonia; it’s linked in the gear list on my website!
Hi! Please refer to the Montañas Vacías website that’s linked below the video, there you will find the GPX. I suggest you take shortcuts where you like and make the route your own in that way 👍🏼
I just returned from a 5-day bikepacking trip and watching this makes me want to hit the road again! You very well managed to capture the landscape and the relaxed touring mood. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. However before you film the next video, please do me a favour and flip around your front disc rotor. The rotation orientation is reversed and ever since the second shot in the video I could not unsee it ;) On a more serious note: How would you rate the region for hammock aficionados? It seemed in some shots that trees are quite scarse. P.S.: Also nice choice of bike and gear. Gearbox and belt for the win!
Ha, I’m just seeing that myself now! Will get to it. The bike has been impressive from the start and my aim is to use it for many more years. As for hammock camping… I’m not sure actually! If you’re willing to cycle a bit further sometimes in order to find a functional set of trees, you should be fine. Enjoy your next tour.
Echt waar, zo ongelofelijk stijl!
Excellent, you have managed to capture the essence of this magic place. Congratulations
This is my fav genre. Calm Mountain Biking
I do a lot of that, so you’re in the right place!

Tristan, this is excellent. Every single shot is just perfect. Thanks for creating and sharing.

Wow, what amazing video work and scenery. You must get as much exercise in setting up and retrieving your cameras. Good work.
Thanks! It allows me to go for walks in between the riding, kinda nice to switch positions.

One of the best channels for cyclists, fun trips and great photography, can it benefit us with the type of bike?
Otro gran video Tristan. Good job!

That’s so cool to be able to see the whole journey like this! Awesome job
That’s just beautiful work. Thank you
The landscape diversity is mind-blowing! One might think that it's a compilation from 3-4 different countries.
Right! That’s what I like about Spain so much. If one were to do the XL Montañas Vacías route I’m pretty sure the diversity would be even greater. Spain’s interior is highly underrated.
The varying landscapes truly evoke a sense of awe, with its unique fusion that could easily be mistaken for a montage of different countries.
@@LarissaLemos-qp1wv is that a translation of my comment from B2 to C2 English? 🤔
Looks like you found the write moment to to ride around the montañas vacias! You chose a great route, a realy well made film! Thankyou.
Thanks Simon. April is a perfect month to ride up there. Looking forward to tackling the XL MV one day.

Great video, Tristan! Only downside; it keeps me from getting on my bike and discovering that region myself ☺️
If you ever do and / or have questions about the ride, do reach out!
I so enjoy your videos. Interesting that you don’t have a view from the bike just beautiful frames as you ride through it
Thanks! Yeah, I tried that perspective once but never liked it. So now I just run around with my tripod!
Fantástico!!!
What month were you riding in this video? Thanks!
Early April!
Ole😊
¡A tope!
I have a question to you. How much is your Body hight/ how big are you in cm?
On bikes I’m usually an XL guy. About 1,89.
Did you do all the filming yourself . If so you must have done twice the nummer of kilometers. Petje af !!!! Nice filming by the way !!!
Of course! I always do all the filming myself. Got used to the extra tripod runs 😅 Thanks!
