Asturias was my Covid survival fantasy. I dreamed of buying a little cabaña up in one of those high meadows. Watching your video reminded me just how beautiful it is. It still astounds me.
Great job on the video Tristan and Belen! You captured Asturias perfectly - steep hills, great views, amazing food and lots of cow shit. It was lovely to met you Belen, and hopefully next time you're both in Asturias we'll find that time to go out on bikes... and also to have time to meet you Tristan! There are a good number of routes like these here, maybe when you come back we can discover another one!
Amazing video I must say, inspired by your video, I cycled recently from Bilbao through the mountain to Pamplona and then Zaragozza to finish in Madrid. The Basque country was extremely tough as I was cycling with the panniers and got 3 days of heavy rain. When I started in Bilbao with 23 degrees, on the highest pass was below 0 But so far, this is the most amazing trail I have ever done. Thank you for your videos and please keep inspiring people to get out there.
Thank you, and well done. Basque Country can bring great challenges through its weather. Asturias is probably similar but we got a lucky weather window.
Great video! Thanks! We ride all year along this paths guiding our customers around our land. It’s great to see landscapes and details in the screen with such amazing quality. Hope to see more of you here in Asturies soon!
What a beautiful route and also beautifully documented as always! ♥ Really makes me want to go back to spain and explore more the north-eastern parts - already cycling below Bilbao had amazing landscapes and also a broad range of animals/birds like the Vultures to see. Maybe next trip will be to Spain ...
Wonderful video! I really enjoy this format without narration. It's helpful to have links to more information about the route but during the video itself I prefer this tranquil format without anyone speaking directly to the camera. Seeing occasional brief clips of information signs like town names is a nice way to incorporate a little route data without disrupting the flow of the video.
Thanks! I’m really glad you typed this out because it’s exactly why I make them this way. I really like the “fly on the wall” feeling of just watching along.
Weer genoten van jullie mooie beelden! Spanje is mijn favoriete land waar je ook in Spanje bent het is altijd mooi. Waar jullie nu waren die bergen wow 👍
Really enjoyable video! Beautul atmosphere and wonderful views! I spend a semester abroad in Oviedo and got to explore this beautiful area a little. Watching this brings back so many memories. Hopefully I can ride your route soon! :)
You two are amazing. A great video. That's a lot of pre and post production work. Well done. I have just one question. Are your smooth pans with just the SIRUI T-0S Series Travel Tripod alone? Or do you have a different fluid head? Look forward to your response.
Thanks Michael! My pans are always handheld, usually while standing still with the bike. That way I don’t have to always set up the tripod. The tripod is used for everything else though!
Yeah, I’m aware of the information it now lacks, but I decided to change my format as the intro always needed multiple versions on site, while the explanation beforehand just never matched was actually happened. As for the narrative, I prefer not to put words into people’s experience watching these, as I’d rather have you formulate your own thoughts along the way. Hopefully you can still understand and enjoy my work this way!
Beautiful. You two are living someones dream.

That reminds me of what Martijn Doolaard did in Italy. Purchasing something like that has its challenges, but the idea is certainly appetizing.
You two are so caring, sharing, and naturally affectionate for each other. Thanks for bringing us along on your bike ride.

Appreciate you telling me!

Thanks! The north is really special in many ways. For me the biggest attraction is the lush abundant nature.

Precies! Dat vind ik er zelf ook zo vermakelijk aan. Daar kan je in ons vrij eentonige platte landje alleen maar van dromen…
Those vistas are amazing. Beautiful video!

Very nice, a lovely pace in the movie with beautiful photography ❤
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing route and video👍😊
Wow, that's a memorable ride. It almost looks like Switzerland but without the inflated costs.
Can you imagine one can find an entire menu for less than €15 here, bottle of wine included?
Thankyou guys that was a great ride out!
Thanks Simon!

The scenery is amazing. And such good weather too! When did you go?
We got really lucky with the weather indeed! This was mid September.

A beautifully shot and edited video as always, but we really missed the introduction and narrative. Thanks.

Stunning videography again, Tristan - what an inspiration.
(Are your tops/jumpers merino?)
They’re synthetic. So far I only use merino pajamas that were gifted to me.
I love your partners tops, can I ask where she found them, what brand or where purchased? Wonderful video!!!
I'd do that route for sure but only if cold baked beans didn't figure regularly on the menu.
My wish too.. unfortunately we were unlucky in finding open bars.
