- Malcolm Arnold's marvellous Leonore No. 4 Overture, written for one of the Hoffnung Music Festivals in the 1950s. Apparently based on a real-life event where the offstage trumpeter missed his cue... needs to be watched all the way through.
Completely stupid and I love it! We all need some nonsense in our lives. People take things so blooming serious nowadays. Life's too short - enjoy it. You may not get another one. And I have an excuse (didn't need it but I'll have it) to listen to the glorious original again.
Wow, that is Alan Levy the American journalist, author and editor in chief of The Prague Post seen several times in the audience. Truly one of the most important members of the expat community in Prague in the 1990s.
I love the conductor giving the trumpet player a red card!
Error!! Esta es la obertura nº 3, y no la nº 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No es una parodia de la 3 por eso le pusieron 4
Hey, you should probably let people know this is a spoof on the original be Beethoven. I thought you had made a composer mistake...
I think it's perfectly clear it's a joke...
Ну и шутники --" РазЯРИлись"... Праздник с Людвигом --неплохо!
