We miss him SO much! LOVE this video. Saw him sing this so many times, but it bothers me to see the guy behind him looking so bored and wandering around.
I sold Willie a double neck ovation a week before he passed... I played on the same stages opening for him... I've done sound for him....He was always amazing.. every time...he could hold a crowd by himself for 2 hrs...you could hear a pin drop when he sang... and what a big heart he had. Rest in ALOHA Uncle

I was fortunate enough to see one of his last performances in a little Irish pub in Maui, I never heard of him, I left that pub after seeing the greatest musician I have ever seen and I've seen them all, what is impressed the most by was how sweet of a man he was, and now God gets to be blessed with his beautiful voice

Holy c*** Willie K was my next door neighbor at the Wainee apartments in 1985 and he had a band named da buggas was the house band at a place called Blackbeards had some soul cat on base called Ed the professor Niles on percussion and Danny on rhythm guitar...
