    I use a 1.2mm with my DV1-C for when I am spraying high solids and euro clears that are high solids because the 1.2mm will break up the thick clear better than a 1.3mm or 1.4mm nozzle. I use the 1.3mm and 1.4mm for medium solid production clears. As soon as the clear hits the panel it should basically be the way you want the finish to look. I don't care if it is the first coat or not it should replicate what you want to see. It's kind of like what is the benefit of masking up the car before you paint it the benefit is you don't get paint all over the car. When you hand sand or block primer you will leave scratches in the primer that can shrink back and show up, so I like to use a soft pad on the DA after with either 400 or 600 grit to get those scratches out. Why did you rub your bare hand on it before you started spraying?

      I like to feel my vehicle before I spray. Lot of the old school painters from my generation did this. Of course not have eaten greasy wings before doing so 😉

I'm trying to figure out a way to include more prepping videos for you guys thing is we have a prepper here at the shop and that's their job but I definitely plan to include some prepping priming videos soon even if I have to do someone else's job just to show you guys the right way to prep these cars and make your paint job better and easier.

    Nice trigger. Yeah man that 1h1 pre-dawn metallic every time pita- I make 3 4 sprayouts on bumpers sometimes. Ngl I used to be lazy with my paper on the clear blends. The trigger tunnel is legit, I don't sand shit, 30 sec with my lil buffer and it's out. if you ever wanted to do a deep dive into how you tint those damn Greys I think it would help alot of ppl. That clear is thick man.

    • @thetriggerman954
      @thetriggerman954  Год назад +1

      Yea I always say I need to show the tinting. Man I mixed 3 different alternates intented the last alternate just to make it blendable, You know how it is when you're Tintin colors frustrated mixing other alternates The last thing I feel like dealing with is a video camera recording it but I know it will be helpful and I plan to incorporate that in the near future Good tip and thanks for the advice. 💪🏼👊🏼
