If you're going back to Thailand(which I suspect you will) I can recommend a few days in Krabi town(it's a little quiet) and hire a longboat to the limestone caves and the mangroves, think it set me back 500Tbh for a few hours.

Are the roads in Lanta mostly paved now? I remember going there years ago it was potholes galore riding a motorbike lol. The monkeys in Thailand are pretty chill compared to monkeys in Bali which are aggressive and steal your sht 😂 Exotic name by the way
Many are paved but also it’s still in the works of being a developing island. I can’t imagine what it was like years ago, most of been so much fun 🤩 it’s becoming a lil tourist hub now. Idk why I was so terrified of the monkey in the forest 😂 thank you 🥰

I would recommend renting a scooter, that's the best way to see the island and at your own pace
