    Good job, guys. Never settle for second best with rental scooters. They can either make or break a vacation.

    Hi! Thanks for the lovely video! How many days would you recommend to stay?

    • @MaddieTravel
      @MaddieTravel  6 дней назад +1

      You could see the main things in 3 days, but my favorite part of Koh Lanta, is just the chill life and laid back atmosphere. I recommend one week. I hope this helps and I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching & being a subscriber 💛

    Hey guys! A little late to your Thai travels recorded here. Great work. My wife and I are preparing to do a mid-term residence in SEAsia in early 2025--a month or so traveling around Thailand; a couple of weeks visiting friends in Laos; and then two months living in Hanoi, using that as a home and a base of departure for Viet Nam & SEAsia. We've been to Thailand several times but never enough time to visit the islands. I've been looking around for a perspective similar to ours to get some insight into southern Thailand. We're a bit older than you but no less active and curious so I really like your energy and preferences. Thanks for the hard work putting the vlogs together--much appreciated! Safe travels and look forward to watching more, taking notes--just subscribed!--and getting our own adventures into gear. Cheers!

      Have so much fun!! I loved that island!! So we tried one and nothing happened at all. So the next day we went to the Charlie’s place in the video and tried them and it definitely worked. It was my first time soi have nothing to compare it to, but things were definitely happening 🤷🏻‍♀️😅 The Charlie’s place had 2 options, and I recommend asking for the organic ones, they’re more expensive but worth it. Hope this helps!!

    Your videos are so helpful! Thanks to your info, I’ve decided to stay in Koh Lanta a few days during my upcoming trip to Thailand. ☺️ Do you recommend flying into Phuket or Krabi? And, how many days do you recommend for Koh Lanta? Thank you SO much! 😊

      I'm so happy you're gonna visit, you'll love it!! Krabi would be the better option, but Phuket would also be easy access. I hope you have the best time!! Thanks for watching & being a subscriber 🫶

    Good video, guys, but I thought you weren't allowed to use drones in national parks? We are currently here like to use it

    • @MaddieTravel
      @MaddieTravel  Год назад +1

      I asked a worker there & he said yes. I would hate for something to happen to yours, but for the most part I never have issues flying a drone in parks or in places that say you can’t fly them. I don’t fly them in US National parks

    Are there any cheap public transports in Koh Lanta for who doesn't ride nor drive?

    • @MaddieTravel
      @MaddieTravel  2 месяца назад

      I'm not sure about public transportation, but you can get a taxi (back of a truck/tuktuk thing) and I recall that they're not too expensive. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching & being a subscriber 🫶

    Is it safe giving your passport to the scooter vendors?

    • @MaddieTravel
      @MaddieTravel  9 месяцев назад

      I've done it more than 20 times and nothing bad has ever happened. It's a very common practice. Or you can give a very large deposit. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and being a subscriber 💛

    • @patiencemukuku1317

      Did you need a license to rent a scooter?@@MaddieTravel

    • @Cee_H
      @Cee_H 7 дней назад

      It's never good practice to leave your passport with anyone else. At very Worst an established hotel is only place I would leave passport.
      Tell bike places, your hotel has your passport, then they will accept photocopies of your passport and a small deposit of $30-50 normally fine.

    THB100,000 fine for flying a drone here in Ko Lanta…. unless you have the required paperwork and permits and never fly over private property or people….. or over 300’ etc etc….All of Thailand has the same drone rules.

    • @MaddieTravel
      @MaddieTravel  5 месяцев назад +3

      I've never had an issue flying my drone in Thailand before and I've asked park rangers and police officers if it's okay if I fly here etc.
