    I will be teaching you how i made this easy ,stretchy,pliable home made fondant. This is very easy to achieve once you get the ingredients abd measurements right.
    You can imagine how many fondant accidents i have had in my kitchen before learning this method. In the video,the measurements i used was for 1kg icing sugar, but i will list the measurements if you are using 1.5kg icing sugar and 3kg icing sugar.

    Gelatine-1 tbsp
    C.M.C- 2 tsp
    Liquid glucose-1/3cup
    Water-1/3 cup
    Icing sugar-1kg
    Crisco-1 tbsp
    1.5kg icing sugar

    Gelatine-1 1/2 tbsp
    C.M.C-1 tbsp
    Liquid glucose- 1/2 cup
    Water- 1/2 cup

    Gelatine- 3 tbsp
    C.M.C- 2 tbsp
    Liquid glucose- 1cup

    I’ve had problems with fondant recipes like either they have elephant skin, not stretchy or too soft or strong 😔. Will give a try to this your recipe. Hope it finally solves my fondant problems 🤔 cus it looks quite easy and good to go 💃🏻

      Just tried this recipe and it’s amazing. I love the way my fondant stretches, no cracks nor elephant skin. But I have a little worry abt the amount of quantity of glucose you use. Is it not too much ?

      Crisco is vegetable shortening. It's like fat or butter. It's usually white/off white in colour.

      No,just rap tightly in a cling film,nylon or ziplock bag and put in an air tight container.

      I would advice you make it very close to the wedding day cos harmattan makes fondant dry out easily.

      Yes I add when it's still hot but if my fingers can tolerate, I let cool a bit

      I have not tried to mix with a mixer. well it may work with an industrial mixer. but the mixer can be damaged if it's all these normal mixer

      Yes ,tylose powder is same as CMC powder.tylose is a brand name that has cmc as its main ingredient. And for the 2nd question,i hvnt used butter in place of shortening before .hope this helps

      Both are the same. Crisco is a brand name of shortening

      Honestly i haven't tried using magarine and so wouldn't know what the outcome will be. There was a time i forgot to buy crisco, and i made d fondant without it and it still came out nice.
