- This is my easy fondant recipe. It doesn't take time at all... its so smooth, neat and pliable..
The Ingredients I used for this recipe
- 750g of Icing/Confectioners Sugar
- ⅓ cup of Very hot water
- 4 tablespoons of Liquid Glucose
- 1 teaspoon of CMC
- 2 tablespoons of Gelatin

Ma,if I'm using 1kg how many spoons of glucose and how many spoons of gelatin do I need to use
Its Carboxy menthyl cellulose...it strengthens the fondant

But my question is, do I need to allow the mixture of gelatin and glucose to cool off before adding the icing sugar to it or I should just go ahead & add the icing sugar as soon as the gelatin & glucose is dissolved?

For hot and humid weather its batter to use 1 to 2 tbls of corn flour to knead . It will give a batter result .

No....it's better to add it to the Fondant when it's forming or have already formed

For white fondant...its not necessary. Its used to retain coloured fondant

Uwc...CMC is called Carboxy methyl cellulose...its used to strengthen the fondant...so it can be firm. Its optional though incase you don't find it in your Location
