    I use another oiled parchment across the top and I just flip them onto another baking sheet to flip them over ♥️

    I watched this and tried it right away w/ mixed nuts -- really delicious!! And, I love how simple they are to make. No commercial mix is going to taste as good, ever! This is now a holiday must every year. Thanks

    Wonderful!! I love these. I just harvested about 5 pounds of shelled almonds from my tree. I want to try these and see if the family likes them as much as I do.

    thanks for the recipe, a nice change of pace from your usual stuff. i remember trying these as a kid except i used roasted almonds and tossed them in melted sugar. it didn't work out too well. this method seems so much simpler, i always wondered how it was done.

      Very good. Hated them when hot though, they were totally tasteless and chewy, bot once they cooled off they were very tasty and crunchy.

    Thanks for this, far safer than risking a pan stirring sugar, nuts mixture while it seizes and releases and seizes again until they are roasted hoping the sugar doesn’t stick to the pan

    Ok so I did this for my whole class ( cause everybody in there loves roasted almonds with cinnamon) last years when it was gonna be the last day of school . I made them and they said that the almonds tasted to sooo good that they wanted more

    Have you ever made it with coconut flakes? I have had the almond version with the honey and coconut and I loved it. Can you say when to add the coconut and also if it is possible to use the coconut powder instead of the flakes?

    To coat the almonds good with the egg white and vanilla a good zip lock bag with the almonds is the ideal way to coat them

    I love your accent! the bag is called cellophane bag. I’m wondering if anybody has ever tried this with peanuts? I accidentally bought a jar of unsalted peanuts a while back and I’ve been trying to find something to do with them since then, maybe almond flavored peanuts?!

      I cant remmeber but there is a lifehack video on RUclips tht gives more details .... I think the highest or cleaning mode, and once it is cool a regular sponge can brush off the remaining residue. Did it months ago forgot the details exactly

    Can we substitute egg white with anything else?

      Yes. You do not need egg whites. I've made these many times. It's simple.
      1/2 cup water
      1 cup sugar (I use regular white)
      1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
      1 pot, like a Ramen or gravy pan. Doesn't need to be really big. I use my popcorn maker.
      Stir, stir, and stir. That's the secret. You can put all the ingredients in at the same time if you want. Then, just stir until all of the liquid has evaporated. It's that simple. Pour them out on a parchment paper of sorts, or just a plate is fine too. And, let them cool to eating temperature, and you're all set. Hope that helps.

    Alternativ: No egg, no oil!
    Just sugar, almonds, spices and 4 tablespoons of water.
    I use vanilla powder, not extract!
    - Min looks exactly like those on the first picture!

    These almonds look disgusting. Go look up a german recipe for roasted almonds (Gebrannte Mandeln) because all you need is almonds, sugar, water, cinnamon, and they look nice and shiny and the sugar gets properly caramelized.

      +Draaca If the look doesn't appeal to you - you don't need to be NASTY! There are MANY variation to it. If ALL you KNOW is GEBRANNTE MANDELN then you can just stick to it without frowning upon others and close your option into discovering other taste there is in the world. If you're a cook then you know that you can ALWAYS vary a recipe either by adding or removing/replacing an ingredient or two, etc depends on what you have on hand or your mood of the day. I suppose, if you don't cook often enough then you wouldn't understand the "concept" Thus, the nasty remark! As for me, I'll go to the kitchen and try this recipe.       I've never once seen a cinnamon roasted almond recipe with shiny almonds and completely caramelized coating, ever. But that doesn't mean I should say something awful about them. I don't know where you live, and they may be different where you are. But that doesn't make it okay for you to be nasty about something that is very good here. If you have watched any kind of cooking show, they always say "to taste", be creative, and ingredients may vary. That means the outcome normally changes too. Shame on you for being so close minded.
