The Ryloth arc was the highlight of season 1 for me, and the first arc where the music was really noticable and memorable, love the track “victory on Ryloth”. And I can really recommend listening to the clone wars soundtrack on it’s own, and just full soundtracks in general, makes you really notice and appreciate the music much more than when watching the movie/show/playing the games. The composer Kevin Kiner deserves so much credit, and I wish they would play the music from the animated shows and games at star wars celebration with a full orchestra, with different music every year, instead of always just playing the big John Williams movie themes.
Isnt it also fairly common that they sell their own into slavery aswell - they know poeple like (mainly female) twi'lek slaves as dancers. They do live ona pretty hard world with few resources (unless they have changed that part from the old things)
It's a good sign that you're not even at the "Clone Wars gets good" parts yet and you're already loving the show. I'm hyped for you to watch more episodes!
The first episode you watched got me through a lot. When I was 7 I had a condition called a volvulus. Its where your intestines twist and it rips itself apart, like a paper clip thats twisted enough which leads it to snapping. Anyhow over the course of 3 months I sat in a hospital bed in constant pain. All pain medications from oxy, morphine, and even tramadol eventually stopped alleviating the pain. And for the people that know tramadol, holy cow does that stuff work. I had two tubes stuffed down my nose, i was hooked up to as many machines as there were staff that took care of me, not to mention the multiple IV's and other needles poking me for reasons i cant explain. I remember asking my doctor if i was going to live. He looked at me and didn't say a word. I heard him crying outside the door. At that time I had been transfered to 4 different hospitals in the span of about 2 weeks. My condition had been deteriorating rapidly, I still remember how dark my room was. My mother would be sitting in a chair next to my bed, I could always tell she was crying. I wish I could have sat up to hold her and tell her everything would be ok. I hope no one ever has to watch there kids go through something like that. The only distraction I had was this episode. I used to pass out from the pain and my parents would turn it off only for me to wake up and throw a fit because the show wasn't playing. That episode quite literally gave me the strength to keep fighting. Even when my intestine eventually ruptured leading me to go into septic shock and almost die. They removed about a foot of my large intestine. Eventually after a couple of weeks I finally regained enough strength to sit up again. And a month later I got to go home. I still get after shocks like a earth quake. My whole body will lock up and I will fall over like a statue. But I haven't gotten one in a couple of years. Besides that, at one point my dad wanted me to do a chore thats currently skipping my memory, but I remember that I looked at my dad and said "We have to prepare, theres a war going on in space!". But i guess thats just the innocence of us kids at that age=>. I hope that this show has just of a special place in yall as it has done for me. Can't wait to see your reaction to the Geonosis arc!
It's funny how a show marketed to kids could have such strong characters, development and deep implications about morality, while still just being a fun journey for friends
It's Alex's "Clone Wars" Day!!! 😊 I already know that I'm going to love this reaction to the next few episodes. The Ryloth storyline is one of my many favorite story-arcs.
Aayla Secura, like most twi'leks, has a French accent. It was explicitly requested by George Lucas, since during the 70s and 80s, French was considered the most attractive accent in the English language world. Take of that what you will :D Also, the angels on Iego's moons. REmember what little wee lad Anakin said to Padme in EP1:"Are you an angel? The pilots say they live on the moons of Iego. They say they're the most beautiful creatures in the universe." Something along those lines.
35:17 Using the Force requires a lot of mental focus, and it’s like a muscle, you can only do so much with it before you tire out depending on how strong you are. Especially for Jedi who need to have a calm focused mind, while the Sith have an easier time with it because they draw on their emotions
It’s cool to see him say that the show is already getting “good” or better than its been, because to me personally who’s watched The Clone Wars basically all my life, think it starts getting good at like the season 3 mark, so that’s neat
Iego and angels were mentioned in Episode I "Phantom Menace". When kid Anakin first meets Padme he asks if she is an angel and says angels live on the moons on Iego.
The Clone Wars starts out like a kids show, with fairly simple plots, but quickly gets deeper and darker. The Separatist's goal literally is to cause chaos. There are some who have valid issues with the Republic, but the war is being engineered to destabilise the galaxy and make people feel insecure.
46:05 Anakin is the general so he has the highest rank so he is allowed to disobey orders technically as well above him is the council then the chancellor
The force isn't a recharge thing like a meter or a health bar. The force is more like a strain on the body like running is. You can get exhausted from doing it, as in you exert a lot of energy. The more you use it/train the less strain it is to perform an action. Having a high midichlorian count means you have more reserves to work with. Hence why Anakin is so powerful. He has more to work with before it starts to strain his body. There are examples of characters with the force struggling to do force powers and you can hear/see the strain on the person but you haven't reached those stories yet and I don't want to spoil anything. On a different note when two force users battle it they have to break through what is almost like a force shield/bubble for the action to land. That last bit comes from the Revenge of the Sith novel, specifically when the author describes the scene when the Jedi Masters confront Palpatine.
Voluntold is the improper name the military uses when they ask for volunteers but then also order the soldiers to do the thing they asked for volunteers for
I think the kid is not calling the clones "brothers" because she sees them as her brothers. But rather because they have the same face. I think she literally thinks they were two brothers.
If you want more TOOTHLESS . Please please please watch the how to train your dragon tv series. Rise of berk. Defenders of berk and race to the edge . This is the correct order too 😊. You are watching clone wars so you should watch the how to train your dragon tv series

Note for Alex: The Clone Wars lasted from 21 BBY to 19 BBY, aka 3 years total. Ahsoka is widely considered to be 14-15 years old in 21 BBY (Seasons 1-3), and 15-16 years old in 20-19 BBY (Seasons 3-6). It is a well accepted headcanon that Ahsoka is 17 during the events of season 7 in 19 BBY. So basically: NO, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED. (Funny enough though, Rex is allowed, because the Clones are technically anywhere from 10-15 years old. In case you haven't delved into the Sarlac Pit that is the Star Wars shipping community, Rexsoka is a very popular pic)

If you use the Force too much, you begin to rely on it. You remember what happened to Kid Fisto's old Patawan.. The lure of the dark side of the forest can take many forms, including but not limited to fear, anger, regret, thirst for knowledge, and thirst for power. That's why Master Fisto said, "Those that have power should refrain from using it."
35:20 You do not need to recharge to use the force. That is in fact b.s.. Basiclly, the reason why they cannot use the force with every little thing is because doing so requires a lot of strength. The force doesn’t work like telekinesis works in fandoms such as Marvle. To use the force a Jedi would have to organize their thoughts. Feel it pass through their vains. It requires strength and focuse which is why Jedi are trained from such a young age not just in combat but more importantly in discipline. It is a bit hard to describe. I did my best to try and illustrate it but my description is not perfect so take it with a grain of salt.
The little girl Waxer and Boil find on Ryloth always just melts my heart when I re watch the show. She reminds me of when my younger sister was young like that
I’ve always understood it that the light side of the Force requires focus and control of their emotions. The dark side is about strong emotions and looking inward to what pleases yourself. The light side is about focus, self control and looking outward to how your actions affect others. Jedi use the force constantly but it’s their athleticism is battle, ability to have faster reflexes than normal, see into the immediate future briefly, trusting your feelings and intuition. Being aware of your surroundings and the people in them, being aware of emotional states of those around them. The more physical manifestations of the force are easier for the dark side since their emotions drive their abilities. They ramp themselves up emotionally and gain power through that. The light side can do it as well but have to come from a different perspective. If their focus is off they are going to be more limited in what they can manipulate in the wider world. The dark side is able to be empathetic but not like the Jedi and the Jedi can manifest physical actions of the force but not like the Sith. A lot depends on the person and how they use it. That’s what makes a Jedi Master a Master. They’re able to control their emotions, thoughts and feelings to a greater extent so they can still battle while maintaining focus to go toe to toe with the Sith. The dark side is more powerful quicker for people who use it while the light side takes more time to master. The light side is ultimately more powerful since it doesn’t depend on strong emotions for power but it can be blinded easily as we saw in the prequels when the Jedi lose touch with what makes them them. They aren’t an army and aren’t competent to be soldiers. They’re warrior monks who should be protecting the innocent on both sides and attempting to maintain peace. By fighting and engaging in the war as soldiers they lost the wider war as soon as they decided to fight it. It became about maintaining their power instead of doing what was right. They lost touch with the will of the force which allowed them to be intentionally blinded by the dark side, helping to lead to their fall. This is a long post but I think I got it mostly right. I don’t know if I’m explaining it right but that’s how I understand it.
I f-ing love your enhusiasm, man! Rewatching the show this way makes it a heck of a lot funnier than it was the last time. I was younger then and was mostly thrilled to have more Star Wars to watch. The next series for you to watch should be Star Wars: Rebels because it has a lot of connections to the The Clone Wars. I know that Star Wars: The Bad Batch is set before Rebels, but it was released after and contains a few scenes that you will understand and appreciate more if you've watched Rebels first.
I always found it lowkey boring tbh aside from the final episode with Mr Windy. No offence to your opinion though. Just sharing mine. Good characters and good to have mature messages and themes in the episodes prior.
41:13 Padme is already infected. Jar Jar's not. You would just infect Jar Jar lol. Also I'm pretty sure Jar Jar was immune to the Blue Shadow Virus all along lol. 28:19 I guess you just have to be an idiot to be immune lol. So you'd be ok Alex. Just kidding.
33:05 "let him do his thing!" This is how I've always believed Padme has seem Jar Jar. She is never mean or condescending towarda him. She is a ride-or-die who is just down to roll with the insanity. She's such a good person and friend to see that his foolishness often pays off in ways that seem crazy. "Jar Jar did something? Alright, we ball!" It's like Caboose in RvB. Of course he made friends with the death robot! We have a "dog" now.
35:17 I don't think it is about "how the Force works". It's more about the Jedi philosophy on how to use the Force. I believe they only use it as a last resort. Well, I mean... they use it all the time for blocking laser bolts and enemy saber attacks and such, so they lean on it to heighten their senses, but that's just minimal usage. But using more grandiose Force-related abilities are restricted to situations where there's no other option. That's just what I think the Jedi Code dictates. You typically see more Force usage from dark Jedi and the Sith.
this is how the force works in tight situations, they can only focus on so much at once, meaning if they are lifting one big thing its gonna be hard to force push someone as they'er doing it or right after.
The force requires focus and energy. Using it constantly is like sprinting everywhere you go. Not only that, but it also requires attention to be diverted to using abilities. That’s why it’s rarely used in lightsaber fights. On top of that, Jedi and Sith already use the force in lightsaber battles, to keep their senses tuned, and their strength and agility intact
45:33 so the markings on clone armor do mean things. The dark blue on most of the ones we see belong to the 501st. That’s anakins battalion. The pale yellow belong to the 212th, obiwans battalion. Grey is the Wolfpack, plo koons battalion. Red is the Coruscant guard, who guard the capital planet, coruscant. (Obvious thing is obvious). The colors usually indicate what battalion they belong to. Certain roles like EOD, Gunners, and shuttle pilots usually have one design shared across battalion. Pilots have a yellow helmet with red markings. Gunners have a faded green-grey shoulder Paul from with extra chest armor. EOD troopers have the orange markings we saw in the Naboo episodes
I’m PRAYING these Uploads don’t stop on RUclips 😭 I see he’s still reacting to them over on Patreon, but I’m not able to pay for that and access that, I hope the Uploads will catch back up now that your channel is HOPEFULLY safe from the hackers 🙏🏻

The T'alls were represented in Star Wars EPISODE IV New Hope in the cantina scene on Tatoween. Yes, Ella Secura has a french accent. Plague, Viruses, Bio Logical Warfare, Chemical Warfare are all in Star Wars Lore both in Canon and Legends continuity.
See a comedian once who was willing to make jokes about the mentally handicapped, a lot of people were laughing and I later learned there was some that WAS mentally handicapped in the audience and she LOVED those jokes. Made her feel included, interesting enough
35:18, in my opinion this is how the force works: the force isn't something that can just be used over and over again (otherwise light saber fights would be replaced by force battles) . If you take for instance a physical feat like doing pushups, you can only do so many until you're tired and have to wait, this is what I think the force is like. In this instance, ahsoka holding a big metal door from closing, whole doll being a padawan is probably very difficult, so it will be difficult for her to do that same thing again immediately after. There are also examples to this: in star wars games such as KOTOR 1 and 2 (great games btw I highly recommend) the jedi only have a certain limit to how much force power they can use before tiring out and letting their force bar recharge.
for the games, that's easy enough to explain, game play. a force user doesn't need to recharge, however it takes concentration to use the force actively, imagine the force in general being your heart, if you stop it to relax it you die, though you can't stop the force from working you can limit the use, allowing you to relax, however you can use the force for as long as you want, but your body and specifically your mind will grow tired with time. especially if you actively use it all the time, Jedi often use the force inactively all day long for increased reflexes, greater sense, and faster movement. the more training a Jedi has the less straining the active use becomes, and the more acute the inactive force abilities becomes.
That local leader that Mace was talking to, Cham Syndula... remember that name and the little girl in his arms when you watch Rebels (which you need to watch before watching the Ahsoka show lol)
it is my understanding that the force requires focus and is tiring to hold for extended periods which can be difficult or even deadly in a hostile situation, and the belief that force has to recharge comes from video game mechanics(gotta balance somehow).
to answer the question about the force: it requires a great amount of focus to harness it and it can be physically taxing to those who struggle to focus while using it.

It's a good sign that you're not even at the "Clone Wars gets good" parts yet and you're already loving the show. I'm hyped for you to watch more episodes!
20:17 damn that was a really well done montage, shout out to the editor ! What a fine lad
Alex on S1 E13: this episode is already better than the ones I’ve watched so far
Me: just wait till u get attached to the characters and get to S7 😭
The editor's note with Commander Bly's visor is actually crazy, that's one scene. How could they miss that?
26:26 Love the way Anakin says “Most impressive” in a very Darth Vader tone here. 👌
"You can't choose "volunteers" "
The military would like to prove you wrong. Lol
There are two types of volunteer.
Those who volunteer.
And those who are volunteered.
To be fair, the Clones aren't much older than Ahsoka, naybe even younger. They all got accelerated aging.
They're younger. She's like 14, the oldest first gen clones are 10.
@TheGirlRobin technically but with the development of a 18-24 year old
@@robertbrunner4379 so they got Fake IDs to get into bars - doesnt make them them 18-24, they are like 10 years old
Bro dropped the hardest monkey chicken alien thing edit and thought we wouldn’t notice 🗿
Honestly I quote Dr Vindiis „jajajajajajaja“ more often than I should
It's Alex's "Clone Wars" Day!!! 😊
I already know that I'm going to love this reaction to the next few episodes.
The Ryloth storyline is one of my many favorite story-arcs.
Aayla Secura, like most twi'leks, has a French accent. It was explicitly requested by George Lucas, since during the 70s and 80s, French was considered the most attractive accent in the English language world. Take of that what you will :D
Also, the angels on Iego's moons.
There's undeniably some bangers in seasons 1 and 2
Iego and angels were mentioned in Episode I "Phantom Menace". When kid Anakin first meets Padme he asks if she is an angel and says angels live on the moons on Iego.
By the way, the maneuver Ahsoka comes up with where she angles the hulk comes to be known as a marg sabl and is also used by thrawn.
It was created by Ashoka according to Padme in Thrawn Alliances
The Clone Wars starts out like a kids show, with fairly simple plots, but quickly gets deeper and darker.
The Separatist's goal literally is to cause chaos. There are some who have valid issues with the Republic, but the war is being engineered to destabilise the galaxy and make people feel insecure.
9:30 I kid you not I am practicing my flute while watching this so Alex was in fact dancing to 2 flutes. 😆
25:25 Man says "I died for my people" but I didn't hear anyone ask him to 😤
46:05
Anakin is the general so he has the highest rank so he is allowed to disobey orders technically as well above him is the council then the chancellor
Admiral and General are equivalent ranks
Bro the edit with you looking up with the droids bout killed me!!!! Lmaooo
Well they are.
If you want more TOOTHLESS . Please please please watch the how to train your dragon tv series. Rise of berk. Defenders of berk and race to the edge . This is the correct order too 😊. You are watching clone wars so you should watch the how to train your dragon tv series
The theorist theorizing that this was Hera’s first introduction even though the little girl creature was a different shade of green & didn’t have that much of the same design
She’s not Hera, but she is in Rebels and she is wearing Waxxers Arm-Armour
@@John_Raiyder Boil's.
@@ZweimannImperium Doesn’t she wear the Armour of the one who fell on Umbara? which was Waxxer iirc
@@John_Raiyder The writing you can see on Numa's armor says "Boil".
Note for Alex:
The Clone Wars lasted from 21 BBY to 19 BBY, aka 3 years total. So basically:
NO, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED.
(Funny enough though, Rex is allowed, because the Clones are technically anywhere from 10-15 years old. In case you haven't delved into the Sarlac Pit that is the Star Wars shipping community, Rexsoka is a very popular pic)
Here's the insane part though, it's a cartoon and the people on screen aren't real!

@CertifiedSunset no shit. Like I was trying to do that anyway. Like anyone cares. Just siding with goldie
The blue markings mean that the clone is part of the 501st legion. They are leaded by General Skywalker and Captain Rex
Editor pointing out continuity issues are my kind of humour- xD
Ryloth... one of my fovorite planets battles episodes
I guess you just have to be an idiot to be immune lol.
So you'd be ok Alex.
Just kidding.
I mean that statement lack common sense about how infection and protection works.
12:17 interesting, you call it a cheese stick. My dad and i called it chalk
I call them Death Sticks. Eat too many and you'll get type diabetes.
Alright, we ball!"
It's like Caboose in RvB.
On one side it sucks that Germans are portrayed as the bad guys so often. But as a German, it‘s kinda funny.
The Ryloth arc is the arc where I first realized how much I was gonna love this show
The force requires focus and energy.

Aayla Secura is in the prequel movies. Sometimes just in the background.
The cartoon is simply being authentic to the beauty of the actress who played her in the movies.
Ah man. I LOVE the Ryloth campaign. One of my favorite arcs in season 1.

5:59 trust me, there are episodes coming that scared the shit out of me...
I love how many of these he hammers out in a row and how frequent these uploads are. Love clone wars!!
Yes, its getting better every season. Better quality animation, more beautifull scenes ect. :)

I am so here for this journey 🙌🏼🙌🏼
it is my understanding that the force requires focus and is tiring to hold for extended periods which can be difficult or even deadly in a hostile situation, and the belief that force has to recharge comes from video game mechanics(gotta balance somehow).
been almost 2 momths we need a new episode!!!!
29:23 started German and ended Scottish. Did anyone else hear that?
It’s been a month already. Where is the next part? I need it
to answer the question about the force: it requires a great amount of focus to harness it and it can be physically taxing to those who struggle to focus while using it.
