I'm not even a gun guy and even I've got a .38 special locked away at home in case anyone gets any bright ideas. Last I heard we got more guns than people in our country
Actually about 40% of America owns 90% of firearms. That said, it's been estimated that should a civilian muster be called, America would be able to field a home guard of around 20 million, with another 10 willing to support, many of which would be Veterans. No country on earth could withstand a focused America. Also there's a very good chance that America would use tactical nuclear weapons before it would loose
We are in trouble if we need citizens to fight. Nobody is getting past our borders.Alot of armed people haven't had people shooting back.Even some trained military have to get past the fact people are shooting back.
A bit of perspective, some states like California and Texas have economies larger than most other countries. These states also possess their own militaries and are also more powerful than most other nations (The National Guard). This is what makes the USA and any comparison to China redundant. China is a REGIONAL power that can be easily dealt with at certain choke points as they have no global reach outside their submarine force.
I remember a US Navy General being questioned about China's new aircraft carrier, said to be the largest in the world. He started laughing and said "I can't wait to see it. It took the US NAVY decades to learn the ins and outs of air-naval combat. How much experience does China have at it?"
First off the Army has many types of aircraft, from helicopters to planes, same with the marines. The U.S. Navy has an air wing service that is right up there with the Airforce in the capabilities. The one other detail the video missed out on was a saying the " fact electrician" on RUclips would say; whatever ya do don't mess with Americas boats because that would make us improvise and that gets really scary.
I was an "active duty" pilot in the USAF. I always thought we were the "best" because we were "active duty". But after leaving active service I worked with many National Guard and Reserve Air Force units. I was shocked to discover that the pilots and ground crews, in the National Guard and Reserve units, were MORE experienced than we were. National Guard and Reserve units normally meet every month to learn and practice procedures they would use if they are "called up" for active service. Many of those people are in those units for years, even decades. So no great surprise they are often MORE experienced than active duty personnel.
I live next to ft Williams that houses the Utah national guard.. they practice here all week long except Sundays. I have confidence in their readiness.
The uS now has another branch of the service called SPACE FORCE. Apparently we have a lot of military manned space vehicles in space with offensive and defensive weapons.
Actually with the Aircraft carrier the Navy has air superiority as well. The military would contact the Reserves Headquarters and the Reserves Headquarters would contact the individual units and coordinate with them. Then the Units would contact the individual military personnel and instruct them on when and where to report for duty.
3:53 That image of the F-15C Eagle, is actually from "Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown". How do I know? Well to start off, the "White/Blue Flag" on the the tail is the "Osean Federation", the "FG Tail Code" is "Fort Grays Islands", and the emblem of the "Yellow Dog w/gun in its mouth" is the players protagonist character "Trigger".
The U.S. Air Force has the largest number of aircraft of any military in the world. The U.S. Navy has the second largest number of aircraft. Less than 4 out of 10 households own a gun.
I have family and friends in every branch of our military. My grandfathers both served during WWII, one being injured and receiving the Purple Heart. My dad is a Marine. And my aunt held the highest civilian security clearance possible in DC before retirement.

The Pentagon has failed every audit for the past two decades. 60 cents of every dollar sent to the Pentagon is missing. Last year, the estimate was $3.5 trillion has vanished and cannot be accounted for.
@@GreenBeamzzz The main problem is our lack of a naval building industry and the constant failure of naval projects. Key failures include things like the Zumwalt and LCS. Even the rising Constellation frigate was bogged down because the navy wanted too many modifications. The point of basing its hull on the FREMM was so that we could use an existing hull to quickly build up a frigate force. They decided to change the engine and sonar some, which forces them to essentially build a new hull anyway. This partially leads into the issue with our own naval industry and China's. China went from a nation that could quelled by a single CSG to a nation that could not only keep at bay 1, but could likely take on multiple CSGs. Turning aside their IADS and A2/AD complex, one of the most important factors is their industrial output. China is churning out naval vessels at an astonishing rate, and it makes sense. For reference, the Jiagnen shipyard alone has greater capacity than all US naval shipyards combined.
@@voidtempering8700 US has better technology for it’s Navy and China copies US navy equipment plus US is building up the Navy capabilities more and more. Reservist can be called up on a moments notice but they also have scheduled deployments. The Marine Corps always has an infantry unit on what’s called Air Alert and has to be ready to be in the air within 6 hours. You as a member have to be within 30 min of the base. But if you are on this alert you generally won’t be able to go in town off base.
active duty military are 4 year term and full time. Reserves are part time, 2 days per month, 2 weeks per year after basic training. But if there is a war then you go full time after all regular full time members are deployed.
5:03 the Reserves (Army, Marines, Navy & Air Force) and National Guard (Army & Air Force) do training one weekend a month and two weeks a year. I was in the Air National Guard for 16 years, our C-130 cargo planes were on a deployment schedule about every 18 months so we had time to tell our civilian boss when we would be going overseas for deployments in advance. The National Guard also has state missions the Army National Guard will get called up to provide riot or disaster relief, the C-130s my unit flew where modified to fight wild fires so we would get called up to help put out massive forrest fires in the state.
Why in the world would China want to mess with the US? Makes no sense. It would go against their own interest if they did that. They like doing business with the United States. But they will defend their lands and their interests if they need to.
Reservists typically report for training one weekend a month and 2-weeks during the summer. Depending on the situation, they could be activated for duty if needed.
Most reservists agree to be in the reserves when they join the service. If duty calls and there aren’t enough spoilers they get called up. They have to remain in good physical shape and well trained so they have to do service one weekend a month and two weeks per year. When the president calls up the reserves it’s a big deal, most have regular civilian lives they have to leave to go to war, but the active duty and reserves prevent us from having draft unless there is a full fledged war. We have found a voluntary force leads to less of a political disruption of the military.
That's not surprising when you consider a single Nimitz or Ford class super aircraft carrier has more combat and support aircraft than the entire air force of most nations.

America is at least 50 years ahead of Russia and china in technology. They are just now trying to develop stealth while America has had it nearly 50 years
there are 81.6 Million registered Gun owners in America With around 466 Millions Guns lol Each state has an Army of Gun Owners bigger then any military in the world
While many of us in the US don't own firearms, many of us who do own a good number of them. I estimate one friend of mine to own 80 to 100 between him and his wife, and they are of all varieties for sporting purposes. All I will say about myself is that I don't own that many and leave it at that. One huge security issue we have now is our wide-open borders. Our current president opened them up to anyone and everyone to illegally stream into our country unvetted, unvaccinated, and many are unskilled. We have millions of people from around the world who have literally disappeared into our country, and we have no idea who they are. Many are unaccompanied military aged males from countries of concern like China, Russia, Iran, or wherever, leaving us incredibly vulnerable from within. Something the military will be hard pressed to combat. All the drugs and human trafficking being brought in just compound the problem. I'm all for legal immigration by those who respect our laws and preserve our sovereignty, but not for those whose first thing here is to intentionally disrespect and break the law. I was married to a legal Canadian legal alien for 20 years, with no issues about it whatsoever. Thank you so much Mr. president, and I pray the American people vote you out resoundingly in November for doing this and other such things to our country.
Keep in mind, that America shares its technology with its allies. I saw where one fighter jet project costs were over a trillion dollars just to develop it. Our allies don't reimburse us for such expenditures, so think of the savings benefits from getting weapon systems from us, that you didn't have to develop and can easily reverse engineer to make your own variety?
We share some but not all. Hence we are the only nation with f-22s. They will not be sold to any other Nation including our allies. There are many other things that we also have never shared with allies and never will.
It is not possible to "rank" US military services as they are all part of a combined arms team. The United States Marine Corps gives the United States a extremely valuable additional capability. In a crisis situation, time is of the essence. The Marine Corps is the "911" or "kick down the door" service. They are a combined arms team with land, sea and air capabilities and can engage quickly and with great impact giving the other services, e.g., the United States Army and Air Force, time to deploy for sustained operations. China has a very large and capable military--the difference is, they can't move it beyond their borders. The United Kingdom and France have the ability to deploy to other locations, but no nation can deploy military capability on par with the United States--there's not a remote close second--having 800 installations around the world is a big plus. Military power is of little use if it can't be brought to bear at the point of conflict.
The NAVY has things the Air Force doesn't. US Navy SeaBees and USMC. Even if you were to merge them(Air Force) back into the Army from which they came, the combined branches would be numerically more than the Navy, but still inferior in their capabilities, relying on the Navy to put them into position, for after all, the command that is in control over all the logistics of the US Military, is the US Navy.
The Marines are giving up the Abrams tank because they don't fit with their beach landing operations. As far as tank numbers in the Russian Military. Ukraine has destroyed much of their stock.
Maybe I'm just old, but why do U.S Defense videos no longer ever mention that the U.S has the world's biggest Airforce and the world's 2nd biggest Airforce is the U.S Navy? I mean that seems kinda big, no?
I'm an American and my dad served in the Army for over 26 years. While I'm glad that we're able to defend ourselves if we need to, I'm sad that we or any other country, lives in a world where we feel that we need to be prepared to defend ourselves.
Chyna has not dropped a b-mb on any country in over 50 years. The United States has been b-mbing at least seven different countries, nearly continuously, for two decades.
China literally killed 40 million people POST WW2. Shall I go on? I can, because it was not their first time. US hasn't ever gotten close to those numbers. China can't say shit to nobody, nice try though.
Wrong. Had we been allowed to fight without our hands tied behind our backs. Like not being able to engage back under most circumstances. And were allowed to unleash hell upon Afghanistan, as my Tank Commander Father said "We would have wiped their clock".
Not every civilian have weapons. Most actually don’t. But…there’s always a but! There are more then enough weapons on the hands of civilians that can easily accommodate every civilian in the country with a least one handgun and one rifle, in case of national emergency!
The method for notifying reserve military personnel of active duty depends on the branch of the military and the type of activation: Air Force Airmen of the Selected Reserve (IMAs and Unit Reservists) must be ready to report within 24 hours of notification. Members of the Pre-trained Individual Manpower, which includes the Individual Ready Reserve, Standby Reserve, and Retired Reserve, must report within 30 days of receiving orders. Navy Sailors in the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) are notified by email or written notification from the Navy Personnel Command (NPC). Guard Reserve Reserve component members who are ordered to active duty for more than 30 days should receive at least 30 days' advance notice, ideally 90 days. However, the secretary of defense can waive this requirement during war or a national emergency.
As a non-military civilian, I only have 1 rifle, 1 shotgun, and 2 handguns. My father participated in the Normandy D-day invasion and taught me how to use firearms, and the safe handling of them. ❤

I feel safe at night. Not because of our amazing military and the men and woman who serve in it. But because this country acknowledges the inalienable rights of self defense and my ability to own firearms to protect myself and my family. God bless The United States 🇺🇸
In God We trust All others we Track !
After 9/11, the US has heightened safety measures to try to prevent another, or possibly worse, such tragedy.
I believe you are referring to the F-35 here. Other nations did pitch it, but the US did the majority of the work by a long shot.
This is an old video because there’s over 1000 American military bases (minimum) across the globe
What is the original version of this video?
The NAVY has things the Air Force doesn't. US Navy SeaBees and USMC. Even if you were to merge them(Air Force) back into the Army from which they came, the combined branches would be numerically more than the Navy, but still inferior in their capabilities, relying on the Navy to put them into position, for after all, the command that is in control over all the logistics of the US Military, is the US Navy.
All our subs are nukes.
don't for get us hill belly's
The Marines are giving up the Abrams tank because they don't fit with their beach landing operations. As far as tank numbers in the Russian Military. Ukraine has destroyed much of their stock.
Maybe I'm just old, but why do U.S Defense videos no longer ever mention that the U.S has the world's biggest Airforce and the world's 2nd biggest Airforce is the U.S Navy?
I mean that seems kinda big, no?
👄
Americans owns 400 million+ firearms and over 1 trillion rounds of ammunition.

Did you 2 have a chance to see the Trump rally in London the other day? The British were calling for Trump to same the west.
China doesn't, not "don't".
marines specialize in coastal assaults'
Don't fuck with the united states Marines
Can u guys please react to some Blackpink
Still got clapped in Afghanistan 😂😂😂
Wrong. Had we been allowed to fight without our hands tied behind our backs. Like not being able to engage back under most circumstances. And were allowed to unleash hell upon Afghanistan, as my Tank Commander Father said "We would have wiped their clock".
How many died compared to US soldiers? Who "clapped" who? That's what I thought.
Not every civilian have weapons. Most actually don’t. But…there’s always a but! There are more then enough weapons on the hands of civilians that can easily accommodate every civilian in the country with a least one handgun and one rifle, in case of national emergency!
90 million armed Americans and that number rises every day. That is NO SMALL number by any means.

The method for notifying reserve military personnel of active duty depends on the branch of the military and the type of activation:
Air Force
Airmen of the Selected Reserve (IMAs and Unit Reservists) must be ready to report within 24 hours of notification. Members of the Pre-trained Individual Manpower, which includes the Individual Ready Reserve, Standby Reserve, and Retired Reserve, must report within 30 days of receiving orders.
Navy
Sailors in the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) are notified by email or written notification from the Navy Personnel Command (NPC).
Guard Reserve
Reserve component members who are ordered to active duty for more than 30 days should receive at least 30 days' advance notice, ideally 90 days. However, the secretary of defense can waive this requirement during war or a national emergency.
