@@micahwilliams8848 7 years ago but nah. Gary Payton jobs was lead him into other players or force the jump shot. The entire defense was focused on bron mostly.0
GP looking like mini-Shaq. I was literally waiting for him to start mumbling through that halftime interview 😂
Lebron:
3x NBA champion
3x finals MVP
4x league MVP
10x NBA all first team
12x NBA All Star
2x All Star MVP
Rookie of the Year
Scoring champion
cover of Sports illustrated
AP Athlete of the Year how could anyone hate this guy?
Big FLOPPER that's why damnit KOBE ALL the way !!!
+Chris George Redfield LBJ >>>>NBA History Faxxxxx
Swagg_ Kidd HELL NO that's your opinion bud may i need to mention MJ hell KOBE ways way better in his prime dude !!!!
you can flop your way to 4 mvps? Why hasn't every Duke player won an MVP then?
+Chris George Redfield Half the damn league flops. The only difference is, LeBron is the most successful player in the league.
Old payton guarding young lebron he's a true defensive player! The only guard who won defensive player of the yr MJ and Payton!
Alvin roberertson
Sidney Moncrief
And now Marcus Smart
led the finals in points reb assists blocks and steals both teams 2016 r u kidding me.
That's easy when your entire team is built to pad your stats! His teammates know to let LeBron grab every defensive rebound, bring the ball up court, they know that if LeBron passes it to them they better shoot so he can get his assist, and they know that he's going to take 23 shots a game the rest of the time! LeBron is the most obvious stat padder in history even worse than Wilt!
He's the goat
@@armandodelossantos736 shut up hater. Bron led both teams. Cavs beat warriors.
@@armandodelossantos736 He plays the game the right way. The warriors are stat padders and needed 3 all time scorers.
@SunamiKilla lol typical non basketball player comment
it feels like im watching an alternate universe of basketball where kobe did not play for lakers, and lebron james battle shaquille o'neal's lakers
Bruh Kobe was just injured for this game he obviously was still on the team
@@zackarmstrong.3089 smh lol
Lebron wouldn't survive in the 90's. Literally played against some 90's players when he was still young. 😂
baby rookie bron had no problem against 90s players . now just imagine Miami Lebron or even back to Clevland Bron the second they could do nothing against prime bron
Lol the cavs fans were like this dude is going to be here forever lol 😂
Absolutely true! I appreciate the comment man!
Btw I just started uploading new nba commentary videos :) I hope you check em out! Theyre the latest ones on the channel, brother! Pls sub and stay tuned :)
Wtf how come he carried his team and dominated everybody in 2004, and is still doing the same thing 2022. Almost leading the league in scoring. WTF?
That's personlly what I believe makes him the greatest of all time. MJ was very slightly better than LBJ for most of his career but LBJ is sustaining his exelence for far, far longer. It's like comparing a flame that burns brightly for a short amount of time and a flame that burns 97% as bright but lasts far longer
@@viksoply6404well said! 💯
@@viksoply6404dont forget kobe 5-2 vs mj head to head..and lebron 16-6 against kobe...
Hgh
Shaq man…just unstoppable
Lebrons shot looks so much more fluid back then
lebron bulked up significantly within 2 years of this
@T Dillinger Zion is pure muscle not fat
Damian Presha he is muscular but not pure muscle
@@damianpresha5155 nah he fat
@@damianpresha5155 he’s muscular and fat lol. He’s got some real fucking muscle but it is under a looot of fat
@@user-hw9kf6fp8z he's only 9% body fat
Bill Walton was one of the absolutely detractors of LeBron wanted him to fail so bad but LeBron not only lived up to the hype but crushed the hype
I been watching Lebron since 6th grade, I’m 32 now and he’s the ONLY player in this video currently still active, crazy how time flies
@4:21 Shaq even had to pause on that LBJ alley-oop dunk...nice...
I remember this game this was when I was in middle School Man and I miss these times of basketball and Gary Payton and Shaq was giving him the business 😆😆 those was the days boy if you weren't around this basketball man you missed out man I miss that era
A 19 year old who couldn’t guard Shaq so Shaq dominated his matchup. Right! 🍪
Shaq,payton,grant,fox vs 19y/o lebron
Put lebron in that team..and your saying lebron build the superteam😂😂😂😂
Now Bron is playing against GP’s son and namesake. Talk about longevity
Exactly
Who has more haters Lebron James or the Cowboys????
throw cam Newton in there too
+Talynn Lucas He isn't on their level of hate...
Lebron James because he actually wins championships lol
dgraves718 Dallas having a good year this year
Antbeast23
true but the giants looking good this year also
That reverse dunk by Lebron no one was doing it like that back in the day
U must be 10 vince,mcgrady,Jason richardson
@cheetahturner4576 they was doing it but not like LeBron flying backwards like that quit playin
I was at this game rockin Lakers gear although a hardcore LeBron fan as well. When Bron mocked Shaq was 1 of the most memorable moments in my life. Kobe (RIP) was out sick. Kobe n LeBron didn't face each other until May 2004 in LA. That same season/year is when Phil Jackson and Shaq left LA and they missed out on another Dynasty.
Gary said it himself"He is making a lot of shots, we hope he miss some" too bad He missed that one!
Ali.
Triple salute for the 04 LeBron footage. 👑👏👏👏
Lol back when Boozer had hair lmao I was like lmao
kush patel Lol lmao like lmao hair lol
Its JoeMama Like lmao after lol b/c of lmao lol
We still boo him
Wtf is this lmfao
+ChromaticTempest OMG LMFAO TTYL LOLOLOLOL
19yrs old lebron compete with kobe and shaq other veterans wow
Damn this is unreal.. 19 year-old LeBron held cavs vs the shaq lakers
Uncle G.P. was doing work😲👑👏👏
damn payton got his hand right on james at 8:44 you can see ....i like that its a no call, but nowadays all these guards in the nba would get that call everytime..*steph curry
Vcarter15range game was more physical back then. Handchecking rule change came around 05.
Thought I was the only one that saw that, no wonder he airballed it
wow seeing that reminds me of how luck todays NBA is if that was considered normal perimeter defense
Now he’s in year 21!!! 🐐
back wen his hairline made sense
2004.. almost 20 years ago.. thats crazy
Back when LeBron was playing in his original position as PG.
Miss those days.
skvetny doesn't he still play PG
bjsw534 Irving is the starting PG for the CAVS, no?
He was actually playing sg
I wish this era could have stayed around forever😢
what's up with that LeBron defense though... Payton was just getting free layups
Rookie year
Also u gotta help off ur man bro. He’s literally playing against SHAQ!!! Do y’all not understand how that works? Lmao
The fact 36 year old Payton held his own on Bron and put up 30 points is wild.
36 isnt old payton was still a vet Bron was a rookie with limited nba experience at that point. Bron at 19 wasn't even at his full man strength yet hadn't bulked up to his natural position . I think this is the only year bron played ''shooting guard'' lol. this was a baby sized bron
@@ryanr20091 you gotta give old man Payton some props though, I’m not taking anything away from young lebron, I’m just saying you got a athletic 6’8 SF and a 6’4 36 year old way past his prime Payton made him shoot that air ball 3 for the win lol.
Bill Walton is the worst commentator ever
Garbage
Which is why we don't see him anymore.
Manni Live The worst ever!
Manni Live lmao he's not that bad
Nah he’s the best you bugging
GODDAMN i forgot how baggy them cavs uniforms used to be 😭, lebron collar looked like he jumped into a pool with it by the second half
5:25 OMG. Lebron Jermaine? the commentator said Lebron Jermaine? who the f**k is Lebron Jermaine? LOL.
1:02 That might be one of the greatest in-game-dunks of all time. Look where he took off from, both legs lifted to his chest, all while doing a behind the back two hand dunk. WOW
Lebron been doing this for 20 years!! My life was so different 20 years ago lol
watching young lebron is fun, his energy, his love of hooping, i really use to root for him
Aye GD u think u can upload some more LeBron highlights from his rookie year bro?
Lol GP was giving LeBron the business.
Damn .. Payton was that good!
I use to think old school couldn't compete with new school but I believe they could.
Don’t understand why Ben Simmons doesn’t shoot when he’s got the license to do so.
Hard to believe LeBron has been playing since the L.A. Shaq days.
Shaq in himself is basketball court. 😅
Forgot Payton was on the lakers
samelol
The king 🤴🏿 vs the glove 🧤 🔥🔥
1:02 wft?!
The fact that Lebron is still one of the best in the league... this was 2004!
What if Shaq left for Cleveland after this season instead . I think he would’ve stayed with Lebron longer
@ they wouldn’t even need it. Mid Prime ShaQ & growing Bron. It’s OVER. For years to come!
@joceja23 They’ve already played together tho Shaq was already out of his prime.
Can you guys upload the other one game beween the Lakers and Cavs from that season too?
I think that's where Kobe got injured? I would really like to see what happened after that..
Lakers weren’t that good without Kobe
LeBron form is totally different now , that last shot attempt he shouldn't have clutched it like that it took some strength out of the shot , but he played well against the team that would go on to play in the finals and "The Glove" today's lebron would've made that shot though experience teaches so much
the only reason why lebron is hated by so many is because of the LeBron vs Chicago🔥beef if you take away the beef with Chicago he's the greatest individual in NBA history next to Jordan who is also a former Chicago bull. its freighting to know that Jordan has an equal but people just need to come to grips with the fact that LeBron is clearly by far the most talented person in NBA history as to date. just look at his resume #idontevenlikelebron#🐂fan4life
many dont remember a game like this is because after michael jordan retired many fans like myself who watched jordan retire didnt mind the nba anymore.
Gary Payton is ballin here
Year 17 still looking great
The fact that we can argue that 2020 Lebron is the best version of Lebron is astonishing.
The 2003-04 Cavs when they had Lebron and Boozer, I forgot that Boozer played with Lebron. I think it was the only year and then Boozer went into free agency. If Boozer was resigned, the Cavs could of done more in the playoffs with Lebron's first stint with the Cavs, but we will never know.
💯% Bron and Boozer would of made big time noise Boozer ended up with the Bulls if only he stayed with Cavs who knows what could of been
I can't stand LeBron, but he's got some nice dunks.
Really?
fuckin idiot
Are you saying that his dunks aren't good?
Crazy how Lebron’s shooting form as a rookie looks so much smoother than it did later in his career.
Fabulous performance by 19 year old Lebron. If they had the 32 year old Lebron, they would have won.
lol Lakers won without Kobe... Shaq was a BEAST!!
32 yr old lebron just lost to the worst team in the nba without their superstar....... no you might want to think again
when he has a super team l0lllllllllllllllll
Meh. Maybe. Mid-season slump. Lebron had a triple double on 70% shooting. I see it as a team mental funk, not a reflection on his skills.
NO.. NO.. and NO.. no lebron team would stand a chance against that Laker team if Kobe was playing
19yrs old rookie lebron superstar caliber
LeBron won all his finals MVPs. Kobe didn't even win more than 2 mvps out of his so called 5 rings. SHAQ won all of the finals MVPs. And even won a regular season MVP. While he was with the Lakers. So that's enuff proof SHAQ was the best on the Lakers. And kobe was just his side kick. SHAQ=Jordan. Kobe=pippen
lol this is dumbassery at its finest. Kobe was no pippen fool. Kobe and Shaq were perfect 1a and 1b. MVP voting is irrelevant. Shaq has said multiple times that kobe was the best in the game when playing together. Lets not forget Kobe was able to actually beat the spurs in the playoffs ;)
LeBron game 7 vrs SPURS. LeBron 37 points finals MVP. Enuff said
John Riddler There was never a 1a and 1b. Shaq was always the no. 1 option, he just happened to be triple teamed most of the time so he had to kick it out to Kobe.
***** 2000 finals doesn't count. He was 21, playing in a talented team and injured most of the series.
In 2001 playoffs he had 29 points 7,5 rebounds and 6 assists. Not to mention 33/7/7 against the Spurs. He averaged 26/6/6 against New Jersey in 2002 Finals.
He was not a sidekick.
Without wade, allen and bosh, no rings
Lebrons's 3 pointer was on point
