First video of yours I'm seeing. It's really easy to get games onto it without WiFi... Just take the SD card out, and plug it in to your computer... You *may* need to install something to read Linux filesystems, but I doubt it as you copied the scripts over without issue.
Also bit of a pet peeve, but your WiFi isn't "2g/5g" it's 2.4 ghz and 5ghz. You not sure how anyone has just 5ghz, but the Pi works with 5ghz, so it may be your dongle.
This honestly feels like FUD, since at least the last two points, "no 5ghz" and "I only got a return because of Amazon" are first wrong, and second opinion.
Got the same issue, turn it on get a high beep but It won't start. Anyone got a clue how to get it to start?
I've had similar issues, I'm on my 2nd GPi Case 2 and mine wont even boot..
It's very unfortunate. Hopefully you can get a return settled for it.
@pandaofnom So I installed everything correctly, it booted, installed the correct script. Switched it off then on again, worked fine. Tried again half an hour later and it hasn't booted again since? Has the sd potentially corrupted or do I have a faulty cm4?
When i turn it on, it makes a high beep tone but nothing more. Even the power led wont startup. U have an idea?
Hi. I Have Created 2 Setup videos on this case so far. (But NOT for non-wifi CM4) Yes. CM4 Lite 2GB + WIFI should be the only CM4 recommended. (Others will work but, will give you a much harder time to setup as you found out. Also Any CM4 with EMMC means SDcard slot not recognised & cannot be used) This does however play anything my Pi4 Can so, it IS more powerful. 5G wifi works just fine on Docked/undocked (Tested using wavemon) Open it up as, there is a cable connecting the screen that is probably causing your issues here. 👍

Damn, so was it just unlucky that the unit did not work or do you think that this is related to the actual quality of the product overall?
I don't know if it's related to the quality of the product. But I've chalked it up to user error or maybe there was something wrong with the Pi unit.
