Oh carys thank you so much for the chat about taking the long term approach to fitness in this video, you have no idea how much it meant to me. I have recovered from a severe illness after two years, but am so deconditioned from being bedbound for so long I now have extreme knee and hip injuries that I have been working at for months with little progress. Sometimes it's easy to get upset at how limited your body is but you are right, it is okay to start at level -10 and we have the rest of our lives to figure this out. I get so anxious about it sometimes, wondering whether I will ever be able to move painfree again, but you are so right, it is a slow process and all we can do is show up and honour our bodies and not push past our limits for short term results. Thank you thank you thank you. And just seeing you guys with mabel honestly melted my heart and made my anxiety so much better. Thanks again ❤❤❤❤
You both are truly amazing parents. I use to foster babies and one time in my life I had 6 kids ages 4 and under. I look back now and say WOW how did I do it but I did it lol. You learn to grow with what you have. Keep up the amazing job. Your girls are beautiful and blessed ❤
Fully agree with phases of life and just appreciating it!! I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and it can be HARD and sometimes it can be so repeatative! But what I think when I feel overwhelmed is.. One day it will be the last time and I won't even know. One day it will be the last time they wake in the night and just want a cuddle and me to stroke their backs. One day it will be the last time they will say that one word the wrong way that makes me laugh. One day it will be the last time they want to hold my hand in public. One day it will be the last day they call me Mama, or Mummy. One day will be the last time they let me dress them and do their hair.. and it makes me just appreciate the everyday things as one day they won't need me anymore!

I think it’s great your children especially amber (as Mabel is still so young) go and spend time with grandparents and have a strong relationship. I have fond memories with my grandparents some of who I lost at a young age but I still feel so fortunate to have had such special and strong relationships with them. When you said Amber has never been sick I was shocked! My 8 month old had reflux and has always thrown up several times a day and also currently has a stomach bug 🤢 so much puke haha. Hope Mabel takes after her big sister x
Working from home is still work. I want to shake people who disagree. Our 2 yr old will proper kick off if she notices that both of us are working. One adult needs to be on hand all the time.
When you were speaking about more children I suddenly thought how would you carry on the nice link between the kids names. And I think the closest I can think of is Caleb? I know it’s totally hypothetical but I’m such a name geek and could spend hours thinking of names for non existent future babies 😂 xx
It would still be cool to see the progress of demo and rebuilding! Not just when it's pretty. I'd definitely enjoy that! Or maybe a time-lapse of a larger project in there :)
You could do a mini series of thrift trips for house decor for the new place! If you want to stay lower cost to help break even you could look for second hand decor in charity shops and charity furniture warehouses, or do some DIY thrift flips to get the look you'd like. Would be fun to see Carys and Amber make some decor for the new place :)
I also had a huge fear of people getting sick, like... I would classify it as my biggest fear. I haven't thrown up from a virus since I was a young child (unfortunately I have been sick drinking a tad too much a couple of times) but I started dating my husband almost 10 years ago and he is chronically sick. It was absolutely excruciating at first but then I became a preschool teacher and kids were getting sick all the time. As the adult and the nurturing figure in the classroom, I really had to push through and this helped me get over my fear almost completely! There is something about the motherly instinct that when you need to be there for a child and they have noone else to help them, the exposure to it so much really helped me cope with the fear. I still don't like when people have a stomach virus because obviously, I still don't wanna be sick but I understand now that you feel better once it's out of your body.
My baby used to feed for 45mins every 2 hours til she was about 4 months 😵💫 so I'm very envious of your feeding schedule 😂 but as you said every baby is different and if your flow is faster that could be causing a bit of reflux too. Mabel is absolutely beautiful ❤️

I dread it the sickness you get with anybody it scares me to death I have a phobia about it too. When they get to nursery and school they catch it a lot I had such a phobia as a child when ever my family was sick I just really struggle to cope with it so I totally understand anyone who has a phobia/fear of it. ❤
Wow so jealous about the fact your babies are happy to be put down for sleep! My little girl is 2 weeks she won’t be put down at all, no exaggeration she’s been on us 24 hours round the clock. My son was the same. Every thing I try she is up crying within 5 mins of being put down. 🤯 xx

Some oat milks (especially barista oat milks) have a lot of sugars and vegetable oils in which are not great for your health , I only buy plenish oat milk now which is just water, organic oats and sea salt xx
Our first little girl is 4 but something that helped us with the singing was involving our eldest with a ‘song box’ we got a wooden box from the works and painted it together then put some nursery rhyme teddies in from Amazon. Now we have song time where we teach the baby the songs but my eldest picks a teddy out of the box we sing ‘what’s in the box what’s in the box amber can you tell me what’s in the box’ it’s really helped and was fun making the box together too!

Got to the bit where you were talking about feeding and I was literally taking the babes off to burp them and they’d been on for 40 mins. Just stretch/do mobility 5-10 minutes a day. The bodyweight warrior has a 7 minute mobility follow along
