    Not bad. I’d also suggest NOT using the exhaust bung option you spoke about. Depending on where that’s put in, probably upstream, you’ll probably end up fouling up EGT and PM sensors and tripping DTC’s and requiring new sensors more often than otherwise. SPE makes an internal catch can that goes in under where the hose attaches on the head that can limit the smoke/vapor you get. That’s probably the one I’m going to put on my 15’ F2FIDDY. Like the fuel line tip and you can use a pick and disconnect your charge pipe at the top and get that ccv hose connection off completely and then the clamp that comes with the kit would fit.

    Why couldn't you run a longer hose to the rear of the truck to avoid the smoke coming up from the middle of the truck?

    • @ThePaintPaperHustle
      @ThePaintPaperHustle  2 года назад

      You could. You can also weld in a bung to the exhaust that the hose will hook to so the smoke goes in exhaust and helps burn it off and make it not as noticeable

    I know this is 2 years old, but I have a question if you dont mind. I was watching alot of EGR videos and concluded its the CCV thats the main reason for clogs. The EGR actually helps with cooling but the wet introduced from the CCV causes all the build up. Will this (CCV delete) hurt the engine in any way? I have a little 4cyl Bi Turbo Ford engine in my Everest. I added a provent catch can and that helped alot but it does not catch everything.

    • @ExCELGamingandMods
      @ExCELGamingandMods 2 года назад

      @@RUSSIA85901 One thing to think about is the suction from the turbo helping pull the fumes through possible restrictions in the ccv box. There are two kinds of ccv boxes, one with a serviceable filter and one that is not serviceable. The one with the filter in it probably needs the assistance from the turbo to vent the fumes without creating excessive crank case pressures.

  • @JC-ck6wk
    @JC-ck6wk 3 месяца назад +1

    Your box looks closed which would mean it's not serviceable, or did i miss that? That would mean you don't have to delete it?
