David was a session singer before heep. Did many covers .beautiful..he learned his craft..his voice just got better and better..saw him from 70 to 76 then the great john lawton..when ken left .i stopped listening to heep for a long time...now i listen to them all the time..byron lawton..new stuff is ok ..but in my umble opinion the 70s heep were untouched. Magnificent band .Gary's bass playing Lees drumming micks wah wah kens keyboard .those beautiful block and step harmonies. And David's voice....my favourite singer of all time ..his voice the tone dynamic and expression..he sang like an angel 😇 🎵🎶🎸 when you think about heep band members..Paul Newton John Wetton John lawton awesome RIP lad's your music is immortal. 🙏❤long live the past and 70s LOL 😅

Thanks Henry, can you please elaborate as I just cannot see David anywhere in this recording. Loved David more than any other vocalist, thought I had every song he ever recorded, but again, can't hear him in this, he had such an incredibly distinctive voice, timbre, range, harmonics, resonance, vibrato......
