- New CJI Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud was interacting with the advocates at a felicitation event organised by Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).CJI spoke about the harsh reality facing the district judges of the country and said, “We should move towards a modern judiciary and an equal judiciary.”
Stating that “If we have to change, we have to change the face of district judiciary first and foremost,” he began by dubbing the expression “subordinate judiciary”, used commonly while referring to district judiciary as part of a “colonial mindset”.

Great speech useful for all advocates and judges by CJI but revolutionary change would have been welcome specially keeping in focus the justice delivery for common man and with this great mission both legal fraternity and judicial fraternity made more sacrifices and have spirit of giving than demanding.
I hope this colonial mindset goes from the judiciary as our Honourable Chief Justice mentioned in his speech and not only from the judiciary, from the other institutions as well.

Chandrachur's speech? What is he drawing his salary for. Is this the way he is serving the people. Act on the violation of your own Ruling Sir, declaring the Electoral Bonds as Unconstitutional. Modi has printed Rs 10000 Crore worth of Electoral Bonds in utter disregard of the Supreme Court's order. How can you expect the public to respect the verdicts passed by you. Better resign than bring shame on yourself.

Judges need heart but not mind or brain to people suffering CJI sir. You are talking high of you but do highly appreciated by people of India.
