Whatever you do with this moped, it's a dope machine. You can upgrade these to the point where, you'll fear for your life every time you ride it because of how fast it can get. But you can also just make a sick wheelie machine out of it, if I may suggest do take it apart for the most part. Do a 70 kit, variator, jet the carb and maybe a contra spring. Nice probably 50mph setup thats still super reliable. Stock pipe, gears, carb and airbox will all vibe 🤙🤙

I own a Honda SA50P - If this bike sets, oil makes its way into the combustion chamber and crankcase and floods it with oil. To resolve this issue, I recommend replacing the oil pump and or draining the oil if letting the bike sit for a long duration of time. Ya know it's flooded with oil when it blows out a ton of white smoke when it starts.
if you want reliable stuff just get a 19 carb, cvt, 70cc but not in aluminum with 2 piston rings and an exhaust with an expansion chamber. You can do all of that for around 600 dollars and it will fly edit: forgot to say to get everything from malossi or polini, they're the best for small cc 2 strokes

Get a rieju mrt 50. You can easily get them to go really fast with a performance pipe and a new carburettor. It's basically a 2stroke sumo with next to no maintenance

I'm sure you already know but elites/Dios can end up being a rabbit hole chasing the smallest of speed gains. Spendy af but worth every penny. Your gonna have a lot of fun mobbin on that shit. @@TwoStrokeJ you are the reason im learning to wheelie my scoot. In europe they have a ring that limits the vario from moving out further, limiting the speed. Check if yours stil have that, if it has it, remove it. Wont reduce torque but will give you a higher top speed
The variator that the belt sits in (behind the clutch) have slides some are S shaped slides so it engages certain way some are more direct like middle part of Z.

You should have bought a PGO Hot 50, and then tune it Realy Good. If you tune it right you can make it go 75 mph😎!!! It's a lot of fun. But I like that one too, and also think you can do great things with that one.

@@TwoStrokeJ well yes but after wards when u Tried to start it and there Semed to be Problems with the spark plug. Most of the time All the scooters i owned before and the honda lead have the Problem and some how when you start them after a long time and then they dont start with the e starter use the kick starter and rev it a little up worked every time. This isnt a issue with the spark plug normaly.

I just copped a 1995 Elite sr50 and its AWESOME. Runs like a champ, best $300 I've spent. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it

Start with JDM taillights, so much nicer than stock. I have a built up DIO, quite similar to this.
