  • Hi guys. Since I have limited time for buiding models, my olny option is to devide the build into several videos.This part is dediced to the cockpit. Enjoy.

    Can't wait for Part 2. Soviet cockpits are always minimalist compared to Western aircraft.

    The Mig-3 was the epitome of an interceptor: Cram the biggest engine and propeller into the smallest fuselage and wing area possible. Great for intercepting bombers, terrible for dogfighting. MiG-3 aces had success with hit-and-run attacks and teran/ramming attacks.

    There's the ubiquitous AMT-10 interior gray. This paint was used on Soviet aircraft from the 30's through the late 50's, where it was replaced by anti-fatigue MiG Turquiose and Sukhoi Blue.
