I couldnt get the time off for a three day trip to the canyons with the boys so I am feeling a little sorry for myself while they are out there fingers crossed making the decks bloody with tuna. What a beautiful start to a fishing overnighter at the famous trench. Unfortunately it looks like it's famous world wide looking at those trawlers. Mate gotta admit those huge factory trawlers are a sad sight, especially in the numbers that are out there

The weather is so rough on the west coast, all the charter boats stopped operation as they just couldn't get out 90 percent of the time. It's also a 1.5 to 2 hour trip just to get to the fishing grounds. Have a look at the wilderness resort up at durville Island. Awesome SP t and they offer charters as well
