I felt so bad for Peaches running around frantically looking for her baby. For a minute I was afraid something bad had happened to her calf while the herd was moving to the new pasture. The mother instinct in her knew she had to find her baby so she backtracked to where they came from and there was her calf. Whew, a sigh of relief. Love your videos. I can't believe how big your herd has grown from those first 5 bison. ❤❤❤
So glad Peaches found her calf! Do bison calves bawl and cry for their mama if they get separated? it seems that bison do not vocalize very much. Could it be that it is a survival instinct from living on the great plains where sound travels and can attract predators? The scenes where the bison are peacefully grazing the lush green grass, with all the little red dogs are just beautiful.
I was thinking the same thing. So glad she found her little one.
Do Bison shed their fur every year? They look a bit shaggy sometimes.
Dusty, I just saw native tribes are celebrating the birth of recent born white bison in Yellowstone.
Isn't that just wonderful!
"These white bison hybrids are created by cross-breeding back to bison through successive generations to increase the bison bloodline while retaining the color traits of the white Charolais cattle. These bison are generally born white but turn cream/blonde as they mature." The white bison is a cross between cattle and inbreeding bison.
Is that a bad thing?
@@dw1920 well it's not a true bison, they want to make it where there's no cattle genes? in a bison at all.
Love the Bach-inspired music at 14:00. Unusual.
Did I read that it had gone missing??
I made it through the 1st. hour of the presidential debate tonight. That was all I could stand of it. Thank You so much for giving me this outlet from your channel. Watching Bison is a great relief/pleasure.
Me too…..couldn’t take Biden’s blatant lies…..! Trump will take every state and send Joey Poop Pants back to his basement!
You lasted longer than I did!!! Then I said… wait, we’ve got to check the heard!!!! Our foreman does a great job!! 🤣🤣
Listen to WHAT was said. Not the lies. That’s all you have to know
@@sharons4611 My feed got cut just as Trump was starting HIS closing speech, that's why I came here! Calmness! Thanks Dusty, you & Bison are SUCH a great blood pressure tamer!
Me too……couldn’t handle it
Around 1965, while helping my grandpa and dad round up cattle, as they were going through a chute, asked my dad how hard is it to count and keep track of them. He said the counting was the easiest part. As they went through the chute, you count the legs. Divide by four. Then you have your total head count. He gave me that job. I really tried. Really. I flunked. After several days of feeling bad, and thinking, really thinking, realized they had done it to me again. They all laughed about it for several days. I like you are teaching your daughter young. Take care.
Ha Ha. that is funny! . It reminds me of a movie i saw about mountain men, sneaking up on a herd of Elk. They hid behind thier horses, the younger man asked..”’Won’t the Elk notice that the horses have 6 legs?”. the older man replied. “Naw, Elks cant count”. 🦌🦌
"The Mobile Mineral Lick - Don't Leave Home Without it!" 😆🤣😆
I love how you know your bison even at a distance! I’m so pleased you were able to help Peaches get her calf back. Panicked mama. Last but not least, you are the finest example of what a great dad is! You always listen to her, include her, teach her, on your ride around you stopped to let her play in the creek, and I’ve seen many other things time and time again. She will have a good chance of someday finding herself a good man, just like her daddy.
I love watching the Bison. Big Joe, Eleanor, Dunbar, Hoss, and the rest of the bison. Seeing Brooke, Marissa, and you Dusty.
Me too. I should have married a rancher. 😃🥹
Love your farm hand today , she’s growing so fast !! It’s amazing how the Bison know the vehicle and your voice hollering at them ! That cube bag means candy for them . Great job Peaches .. not letting you close the gate until she found her calf , that’s a smart momma ! Thank you Dusty and Brookes for today’s adventures! Missed Marissa in the Bison shenanigans !!
I love to see Big Joe running next to you. What a magnificent animal! ❤😊
America’s latest escape artist. Clever critters. Brooke is growing. We enjoy these videos. Living in N/W Minnesota we appreciate what you are doing. Bison should be Americas favorite animal. Thinking about how they were almost extinct is amazing the resurrection of the Bison. 👏👏👏
I can already imagine Brooks as an adult riding her horse as she is herding her own bison from one pasture to the next. Peaches is a such a great mama, and it was sad when she was getting so stressed out while searching for her baby. Brooks had the best idea to play in the spring on this hot summer day and I can remember doing this as a child myself when we would go visit my aunt and uncle on their farm.
Boy, Peaches was getting pretty frantic there. Ah, Motherhood!!! She’s a very good Mom!
Happy Trails to you!
She was not going to give up until she found her baby!!!
I would not have expected that cow with the baby and the teenager to listen to you. But she stood there and looked at you to see if you wanted her to go through that fence or not….
I was worried at the phrase “loses her calf.” Glad to know it was a hide n seek.
Me too!!!
I'm so glad you took care to make sure Peaches found her baby. Reminded me of watching old episodes of "Lassie " where Lassie needed help and kept running back and forth trying to get Timmy or an adult go with her to help 😢.
Now that was awesome to watch. Shows how the mother knew her baby was lost.
I got so upset I couldn’t watch the whole debate. What a gift to watch you and Brooks with the bison.
Great video, Dusty. Happy you found them all! Thank you
That was almost bringing tears watching Peaches looking for her little one. It broke my heart hearing her. Wow she sure got her work out for sure. 😉❤️
She is growing so fast, beautiful too. Hi everyone
HI WOW that was great that peaches helped you get the other mamma & the 2 baby's that did not joy en & you got them all now. Thank you Peaches.
Cheese balls work every time 😊👍 🤭 Thank you Dusty, Brook and Marissa 💗
Amazing how well you know and can handle your herd in such a short amount of time. You’d think you had been doing it at least half a century! Brooks is a lucky girl to be able to spend time with her dad in such a wonderful place. Not many kids are so blessed.
Nice big beautiful pasture with plenty of grass for your Bison can graze Dusty
Just not proper fencing.
As a formal outdoor/farm kid, learning to pee outside is a valuable skill! 😊😊 Thanks for stopping & playing in the water too!
Good job Miss Brooks helping your dad with some bison Ranch in❤
Love hearing Brooks cute little voice. She sure gets into it. Donna northern Michigan

Been looking forward to your video as always! Naughty bison summer as usual. lol. So rough to see how these mama bison fret over their calves when something happens. Such amazing mamas! Thank you as always Dusty, Marisa and of course Brooks for letting us ranch with you all from afar!
Tonight, I regret NOT watching my regular scheduled program on time. I absolutely love the Bison yet start of video I hear Brook talking of all the babies and lots of kitten's. Lol, she stole my heart.
Peaches is a great mama. I really loved watching the Bison 🦬 swimming. Fascinating video. Brooke is such a cutie, reminds me of my granddaughter at that age --- really smart.
It was amazing to see that the one mama stayed with the lost babies.
I was glad to see some milkweed--for the pollinators!! I am going to keep bugging you about getting some bees! You are working hard, and everything is looking beautiful!!
Potty breaks are important. Glad you got them moved pretty easily.
Peaches is so smart. She knew she could count on you to help her get her baby.
Peaches was letting you know she needed help getting the red dogs back. What a great mama. Brooke is growing up so fast. great video. 🇨🇦

Good day to all. My word, your little girl knows how to 'pass the word' around the bison.
so sad watching Peaches frantically look for her baby, however, I was king of thinking she knew the others were there as well.. Her happy snort when you asked her if she'd found her baby!! I just love all your videos!

So, watching your bison swimming across their pond made me imagine them on the prairies - why? I have no idea why!
Love from Devon UK
I love Brooks in the creek water. What a life she has to see the beauty of nature and take part in it with her dad. Amazing!
I Love seeing the herds run with your family especially when they are excited for cubes! Also love seeing the bison graze, it’s peaceful. Thank you for giving us a window into your ranch. I can appreciate what it takes to deliver this content and the investment of time, energy and dedication it requires for you to bring this to all of us. Blessings of immeasurable happiness to your family and your ranch! 😁
Poor peaches! Glad she was able to find her baby. What a good mama!
So glad Peaches found her baby
Glad Peaches found her baby and a few others. I love Brooks’ excitement in helping you. I always liked riding along with my dad (rancher) and helping according to my ability. I learned a lot of life lessons, and I’m sure Brooks will too. Keep on ranching.
So glad to see that you have Brooks sitting by you in the middle. Lovely family
Love watching how much these Bison trust you Dusty.. Such awesome relationships you have created with them..

I’ll be happy when Brooke can drive that 4wheeler. Seriously you never know when there might be a need. She is adorable.
Thanks, your heard is a beautiful thing. 👊🏼✌🏻
Love all your bison 🦬 but Dumbar and little princess Eleanor ❤ they are special . I was scared to watch the video because I thought her baby died ...so happy you found that baby❤ what good, Mama 💕
Youve gotta make your daughter the narrator. The bison love her as well. It would be serious kid encouragement teaching for future social media bison.
Also, Discovery Channel may pick you up. Brooks says," Coming up next on Animal Planet News!"
I started watching you when it was just a small herd, look at you now. They are so beautiful to look at I love it. My oldest Son and his family had j7st went through Yellow Stone Park he was showing a Bison just walking up the road beside his vehicle and others without a care in the world, it was beautiful.
Brooks is getting so big. She is just so darling! Poor Peaches. She was really worried.
I love how u care for the farm and animals. Love watching your family togather with u, as partners
Awesome little Ranch hand. Oh my goodness she is getting so Big. Sending love from Oregon Willamette valley. Grass seed capital.
lol, the looks on Brooks face with the muddy high five. She didn't notice the mud before you said that. lol
Fun to see the Bison following you‼ They do watch out for each other, I love seeing that☺ Great video❗💚
So glad peaches found her baby. Your daughter is a big help.
Your beautiful daughter is so precious ❣️♥️
Wow, Big Joes head is enormous! I’m still fascinated by their little legs with such a big body and how they can run so fast with their little legs and big body. 😳😂
Love your videos.
Great job’ you had the best little helper ❤️🥰
Brooks is a true country girl. Peeing in the pasture and wadeing in the creek. Was fun when I was a kid lol
Those sound like song lyrics, lol!
OMG, I felt so sad for Peaches! I am so thankful that she found her baby! I bet you never run out of things to do at your ranch! I sure love those red dogs! You had the best, most beautiful helper today! I love her precious little voice. I so miss when our kids were little and the three of them would all be talking around our dinner table together. Their voices were like a beautiful melody. I fortunately barely remember the sounds of their arguments, but those days were a long time ago. They are now in their mid to late 40's and have families of their own way up in Connecticut. I truly enjoyed today's video, especially with Brookes. Enjoy making amazing memories together. Children grow up way too quickly! With lots of prayers and love for you all, Donna Gulyas in Florida.
Brooks is so cute great helper ❤.... love your videos 😊 Yeah Peaches find her baby ❤😊
It's a good thing Peaches ran back to find her baby cause three was an extra one who's momma didn't notice it was missing. ❤
Amazing to see the bison following you on the side by side ! Peaches was sure frantic looking for her baby , sure glad she found her ! Your ranch hand is sure growing up fast !
Cool to see them swimming
Peaches is such a good momma and she was upset that she couldn’t find that baby. Make me wonder who the momma is of the other calf left behind. God bless
Brooks is a future bison rancher…poor peaches..glad she found her calf.
I just love watching when they follow you like a bunch of little puppies. Bag shaking never gets old. Ha ha. Love when they are running. Thanks so much for sharing as I have a love affair with the Bison from the first time I saw one in Yellowstone then lived in Missoula, Montana where there is a Bison Range in Charlo that I would visit when I lived there in the late 70's. Sure do miss that. Thanks so much for sharing your love of the Bison and teaching us all about them. Love it.
Your daughter is such a little rancher.
Brookes was a lovely substitute for Marissa, explaining everything as it happened! Lol
Was hoss in the neighbours with the breakaway herd?
Well done Peaches!
Seemd like Peach's was saying hey Dusty these mama's are leaving their baby's give me a hand will ya!!!!
Dusty I love tried to help you herd your bison back in but I wasn’t much help. 😅. Now Brooke, she is a big help. She’s so cute and smart. She just talks with you and helps you. That’s so neat. You’ve got a real nice herd of bison. Cool video. Thanks 👍❤️
You had great help there. One of these days she'll be running it. 😅
I think so too!
