"I'm on borrowed time, hogging the seat , my smile still winning for a while " is what was needed to be said

horrible strategy for both vcarbs, could've been double points if they extended first stint on the mediums and kept track position. and something wrong with their starts in japan, china and imola races now. its it wheelspin or weird tyres? would love to know. and vcarb dirty air issue is nasty, they can't do anything to fight that

Well m8, I think he is burnt out. Too much pressure on him.

@hitmanbg there's not much pressure. the racing director himself said strategy didn't work out and they both had poor starts. Daniel mentioned wheelspin post race with his engineer. yuki and daniel should've been p7-p10 together today

I don’t think it would have made a big difference. They compromised race pace for qualifying

You can only go long with the right setup and the right driving style. These were the softest tyres in the Pirelli range and most chewed through them very quickly.
Best driver on the track for tyre management in this race was Stroll. Made his mediums last a crazy distance, the same as Perez did on the harder compound!
But the RB’s struggled with wear

@JakeM218 they weren't on softs though. they went medium-hard but only used medium for 10 laps for daniel and 11 for yuki. and on hards they went 52 laps for daniel and 51 for yuki, and made them both defenseless against stroll on 10-15 lap tyres, and daniel again passed by magnussen on final lap with fresher tyres too. RBs didn't struggle with their tyres. Daniel was on radio saying he was comfortable on the mediums but they made him pit too early as a strategy to force hulkenberg to pit - but he only went in after yuki did

I've seen enough of Ric. Time for Lawson to step in.

There are 17 more races in the season, have a memory longer then 2 weeks to notice that him and yuki are both good
