It’s nice to know that the locals embrace Yuki as a “home” driver in Imola since he helped with the clean up when the race was rained out last year and he moved there when he was having difficulty. Seems like he has embraced the food and even learned a little Italian.
I've been so impressed by Yuki's growth and maturity. I found him really annoying as a rookie, so hotheaded and childish and trying to compensate for his lack of experience with an overdose of aggression. But I think Red Bull's decision to ship him down to Faenza was a genius move. He has learned to appreciate training and discipline, he's much more humble and thoughtful in the way he speaks, he's a much quicker and more tactical driver, and yet he still hasn't lost his youthful excitement and hilarious banter. From one of my least favorite drivers to one of my top five- I love this guy!
Yuki is nearing his transformation into a full-fledged Italian with his hand gestures. Also, good job on the content team with introducing basic Italian vocabulary.
@@breeze2375 I'm aware of chopsticks While I know that Japanese like a lot of Asian cultures eat most of their food with chopsticks, I am pretty sure though that this is normally not the case for certain Western foods like Pizza slices, sandwiches, Hamburgers, French fries etc. I'd assume he it more in reference of being blindfolded and is saying out loud what he is thinking, which was the funny part tome. SInce he can identify the actual food and is since 2018 driving for European teams I'm pretty sure he has figured the eating part by now.
I find it fascinating watching a Japanese dude enjoying Italian food, speaking italian but most importantly using the Italian gestures! i loved both of them!
So, we have an aussie with an italian father and italian grandparents on his mother's side against a japanese that lives in Italy (precisely Faenza, near Ravenna), challenging each other at italian food... Nice.

I'm impressed with Yuki's Italiano. I was getting worried that Daniel was going to lose his spot on the Ricciardo dinner table and get relegated to the little table on the end, but maybe Grace can just get everyone to shuffle down a bit and number 2 son can join the family!. 😂
Man! Yuki got the Piadina. I respect him even more now. What a man! and the sassy "finito la commedia" even more. Oh he went up with my favourites already.
They both literally gives me brother vibes, they just mess with eachother in the most childish ways and that they both respect eachother. I love to seem them together in the grid for 2025
I have full confidence in Yuki-San and Daniel ! Is basically their paradise when it comes to food… Mama Mia~~😘 But could not help not to laugh at the mischievous Daniel teasing Yuki-San…😅
This is the most Italian I've ever heard Yuki speak and 90% of it is food terms
2:51 he even does the italian thing 😭

he's not playing with his food😂
Better than his English 😂
Daniel is normally so Australian wanting to be American that you forget both of his parents are Italian.
His parents came to Australia in young age, so Ricciardo is 95% Australian. He probably knows only few words.

Only thing he apparently still needs to learn is eating. Love he asks "how can I eat" multiple times :D

Honestly expected Yuki to run away with this one, but it seems I underestimated Danny's conection to his heritage.
Daniel would have won if he didn't waste so much time sniffing the food
