My dad is from England, but I was born and raised in the Netherlands. And always when his parents came over from England, they’d take loads and loads of sweets/snacks with them. These oranges were among my favourites.

They look like they're both used to taking up a lot of space in a teammate pairing and now have to share that with each other... Max was very responsive to Daniel and Carlos was very responsive to Lando but they're just not used to either having be responsive to each other - hopefully it comes with good results for both!

@@xTville1 I understand Lando, becuase I don't drink much too. Also I don't like beer taste, but I think it's just a result of other problem - my body doesn't like any fizzy drinks. Still I like try wines and sometimes stronger alocholes, but not vodka and whiskey.
Gosh, I love both these guys so much! They both have a unique sense of humor so I am hopeful they can find laughter in each other’s take on things given a little more time. Its great to see genuine respect between teammates even though they are each other’s biggest competitor. Good luck to team McLaren!

@@MargotRobbieFan1 Carlos and Lando clicked really quickly, so I think that's where the comparison is coming from
I think the difference is that Carlos was Lando's foundation. He came into the team as a rookie, and their policy of data sharing helped him to improve and really the relationship was non combative for that reason, there were no insanely high expectations of Lando. Now he's more established and the person he built that relationship with is gone he's likely to be more combative as now he wants to prove he's number 1, especially against a world class driver like Ricciardo. People wrote him off early, which I think also didn't help with this relationship.

Carlos and Lando's chemistry brought big marketing success to McLaren, and now that Carlos is gone it's like they are trying to recreate the same recipe but using a different ingredient...
@@campbellschicken exactly, sometimes it doesn't work and that's ok. Everyone thought they would be great because of the press conferences but it's easy to laugh with each other when you're at different teams and not a direct threat to the other's career...

Both of them were aware that they will not have the chemestry and the relationship like Dani had with Max and Lando with Carlos and that is fine, no need to try and force it..also those sort of relationship between teammates are rare anyway..I remember Daniel talking about how Lewis came up to him and Max after one race and asked them and he couldn't belive how are they so close..and they still are..no need to try to copy and force something that just isn't there with somebody else..they are here to race and everything else either comes naturally or not
I think it might hurt more for Lando given that he sees how amazing Charles and Carlos are coming along and that he is now paired with someone that he very obviously can't stand that much, and is on an insane payroll while delivering the bare minimum on track.

Daniel is such an extrovert and is chill and clearly has a huge soft spot for lando and is trying with him, whereas lando is very much a gamer introvert and takes a long time to get used to people in person. I agree it’s weird but I don’t think it’s anything malicious from lando I just think he needs breaking down and feeling comfortable around, and I think Daniel senses that as well hence why he’s trying and being nicer than what he was like at the start just making fun and teasing him. People are obsessed with chemistry between drivers on the same team. History will suggest that longevity is at it's greatest when there is one clear leader and the other driver is OK playing second fiddle but is still good enough to hold their spot. But put together two drivers who no doubt think that they are the one that deserves all the attention and praise and it complicates things. As DR continues to improve I think we might see Lando shrink back a bit as a personality (I'm not saying DR is the better driver, nor Lando) but I expect by the end of the year these guys will have worked it all out. I hope the ageist jokes between the two will continue to thrive...

His comments and posture when Danny joined reinforced that impression. Danny full on humbled himself learning the car. Danny is cocky and funny but willing to learn. It's possible to see that a harmonious but competitive team experience is possible. Would love to see that w/ Dan and Lando. Both great drivers both very interesting to listen to. Danny Ric hopefully never loses his humor. He's so funny.
