#BadOmens #ArtificialSuicide
I honestly fuck with this style. I’m really excited for this album. I love it when bands do crazy weird shit like this
The plot in you is a prime example with there newest album
@@Bugga-Ray-Dudley I fucking love TPIY. it’s what DOPOM reminded me of
@@rowanplaysbass it helps that both bands have incredible fucking vocalists but both seem to have really good musical understanding as well and they can make the weirdest things somehow still work
Really hyped for this album. I'm all over that weird shit
Wow dude this is the perfect comment to describe what a lot of people look forward to in new music I love it
"They did something with this" honestly I don't know what they're doing but I'm living for it
What I love about Noah so much is that he has the sounds Oli does on his palette, but he's a lot more controlled.
He seems to really know what he's doing unlike Oli, who took quite some time to learn to control his instrument.
Yeah I think he's much better than Oli tbh
@@tentinquarantino3005 yeah way better and I like both
@@tentinquarantino3005 Technically, I’d agree. I just feel Oli’s vocals have more emotion, I guess?
@@chloeonestrogen nah ima be real he completely just did oli’s vocal style and beat him at his own game. I mean I was never a fan of BMTH anyway but goddamn this song is basically what BMTH should sound like
Very true Oli took over 10 years to finally control his voice and not destroy it. If Bad Omens were popular back then I believe Bad Omens would've been just as big as BMTH if not even more popular.
Noah has been getting into lofi beats and industrial sounds, so I see where this is coming from.
This album will absolutely be different. I personally love it but it will def have to grow on some people haha
Artificial suicide hyped me up way more than their previous single, really really cool song they brought their style of big screams with tons of layers saying the same thing but got to admit that he sounds like Oli in the cleans parts
Jesse cash said on instagram that he wrote and played the guitars on the bridge/breakdown on What do you want from me? And also the little breakdown of Artificial suicide. A little bit of ERRA in these 2 songs
Yeah, they all live together hahah
@@amyad0rable Yeah, it was good, i watched some streams on twitch ahahah
Artificial Suicide is the best song to have on a gym playlist. The amount of PR's I've hit listening to that song 😙👌
"What do you want from me?" reminds me so much of Nine Inch Nails, more specifically "Heresy" from The Downward Spiral. So amazing.
I long for the day we stop comparing Bad Omens to other bands, its exhausting. I’d love for reaction channels to actually start diving into their sound and talking about there uniqueness just for once without comparing to BMTH…
I’m sure the band hates it too.
To be fair, a lot of their music sounds extremely similar to BMTH. As an example, their song Burning Out is practically a carbon copy of Avalanche as far as chord structures, it’s even in the same tuning. There’s a number of other songs of theirs that are the same way, that’s just the main one that comes to mind. If they don’t really distance themselves from BMTHs style, then people are gonna continue comparing them.
No offense to them, but they so comparable to BMTH in these songs. I agree that it gets tirering to hear because most of the time its bullshit, but im not even gonna attempt to say its not here. The screams are very different compared to Oli, way more controlled. Death of peace of mind is nothing like BMTH. These 2, really fucking similair to BMTH...but that doesnt have to be taken as a bad thing.
Id rather see more death of peace of mind tho.
@@brendanmeyer8358 dethrone sounds almost exactly like house of wolves in some areas of the song, i don’t think it’s a stretch to say that bad omens is heavily influenced by bmth
They only reason they are compared is because noah and oli's voices are so similar, if they were the same song but a different sounding vocalist nobody would make the connection
@@bartsprengelmeijer4825 it's not just the voices, check my earlier reply. That was just one song example, there's multiple others that are very similar in the chord structures, as well as vocal and drumming rhythms. Their voices are very similar, but there's a lot more than that
The way they cut Noah's voice in some of the screams between verses make it so creepy and doomlike. Surprised they didn't have Mick Gordon working with them lol
This is SOOOOOOOO coool, I love that it isn't that generic metalcore which you hear nowadays 24/7/365
Bad Omens is on a weird musical trip right now. But if it turns out to be as varied but good as amo, I'm not gonna complain. I enjoyed Artifical Suicide and the other two singles were good enough, so I am curious.
Bad omens is not bmth, stop comparing 🤣🤣🤣
@@thedamntrain Amo gives me a neon gothic club vibe for some reason. I don’t know if that makes sense. I still love the record, though!
Bad omens obliterates anything BMTH has released since sempiternal. Don’t get me wrong, I like BMTH a lot and AMO is a great album but bad omens has a magical thing going on with this new album.
@@amyad0rable They're the American version. Just like The Office, they're the superior version 🤣
@@joshlee7666 lmaooo I grew up with bmth, so I'd have to day that going from deathcore to pop, they are not the same as bad omens
How would you describe this specific sug-genre of metalcore that combines heavy riffs and strong cyberpunk/synthwave elements with it ? The new songs from Bad Omens, the new direction taken by Novelists, the appeal to songs like Ludens by BMTH or Mick Gordon's sound overall, without forgetting NIN. I feel like this could be a real thing in the close future and I gotta say, I really dig it !
You still got Alien by Northlane, who kinda started/brought back this eletronic synth mixed with metalcore and djent
Here is the thing with the BMTH comparison...Noah is better than Sykes and it's not close.
I hate to hear BMTH done so dirty but that’s true
Tf is noah ??
@@oilbustercrackercook446 bad omens vocalist
Obviusly Noah is much better than Oli
Both bands grew up on similar music and Noah and Oli have similar voices but I do agree Noah seems to more range
When you compared ARTIFICIAL SUICIDE to Mick Gordon, my eyes just opened so wide cause I thought the same damn thing too. But that’s probably cause I’ve been balls deep into listening to the DOOM soundtracks recently.
All three songs are fire as hell but definitely they found their sound. Can't wait for this album!
Not gonna lie, I am so so excited for this album. I’m digging this sound so much.
I love this trippy kinda music that also brings some chunk to the party as well. Bad Omens are capable of morphing their style a lot and I love to see the creativity and willingness to branch out and challenge themselves a bit
Kinda sounds like a heavier version of Hundredth after they changed their sound on Rare.
lol true. the synthy sound and drowned vocals
True true. RARE was an amazing album.
I just loved "What Do You Want From Me?", I've read not to many liked it, but their 3 recent singles, oh my God! I loved them. I'm recently into Bad Omens and I AM LOVING IT. Yes, they sound sometimes like BMTH, but I fuck love Bad Omens, I'm loving the different things they are making for this album.
Just happened to get to your channel, thanks so much for this reaction, you got a new subscriber, from Mexico City!
Check Alexis Castro channel too, it's Distorsión Informativa, I love his reactions too and he recently made one for The Death Of Piece Of Mind.
This is good and I hate BMTH
ALL DOUBTS ERASED. They're going to smash this album. Live for this shit!
i've read somewhere that What Do you Want From me is used as an interlude on the album... that being said, I really enjoyed Artificial Suicide but I still like The Death of Peace of Mind better. Stoked for the album.
Can y'all just fucking listen to one song without comparing to other bands and ENJOY the music for what it is?! Jesus fuck, these guys bust their ass in the studio just to get critiqued
Yeah it seems like it’s only with this band too. Doesn’t matter how different the song is, they compare it to another band. It’s so strange.
@@thedamntrain its not bad but constantly, starts to get a little bit annoying
That chat was so annoying that's why I don't fuck with twitch, love bad omens new direction though
My expectations on the album doubled after these two new singles
Love your profile picture. Did you see the post Bury Tomorrow made on their instagram? New song soon!
The intro sounds very HEALTH inspired to me tbh
Death of peace and mind is their best song to date (and probably the best song of the year), Artificial suidide just sounds like HEALTH but is still a cool song, wdywfm is a pretty interesting mix of industrial infused metalcore with amo era bmth. Album is gonna be crazy for sure
I'm quite new to this band but I'm enjoying all of what I've heard
What do you want from me sounds so much like something HEALTH would've put out, i love it
The new bad omens album is gonna be a very experimental album i can feel it :)
I think you need to hear the Asian (specifically Indonesian) 'Oli Sykes', Ical from the band called '510'. They recently released two singles titled 'Collapsed' & 'The Last Suffer'. BMTH vibes with a pinch of nu-metalcore.
Yes! I am a fan of the band since they were "Slap it out" I think they are very influenced by BMTH faizal is also in another band called "Kilms" and recently they came back with the name 510 (5lap 1t 0ut) it is like a cross between Oli and Noah but they have their style, I think they are very good bands with a lot of potential and I think they deserve to be more recognized
Slowly realizing that Noah can sing the phone book for the next album and I'd still buy it 🤷♀️
I absolutely loved the death of piece of mind, had it on repeat the last few weeks.
Randomly decided to play all 4 singles from this album today on my way to work after never listening to Bad Omens before. These songs absolutely blew my mind!
Im calling this album or Obsidian for AOTY??
That intro sounds like Cyberpunk music with wierd low tuned guitar
This whole album is going to be the death of me
First song is more HEALTHy then BRINGy
"What do you want from me" reminds me of Celldweller :)
The end riff of "what do you want from me" kinda sounds like infra-red by three days grace.
Believe me it grows on you. I had the same thoughts as you at first but damn it grew!
I don’t care what they do. They can do anything they want and I’m going to love it.
Not my type but it doesn't need to be. I respect that. Let everybody do what they want 👍🏼
What do you want from me = Depeche Mode on Stereoids
Hear that new Spite?
second single remember vibes crystal lake
Yup ..You Just Hit The right Point...
For A Moment I Thought Oli Did A Collaboration On Artificial Suicide..Clean And Scream Was Just Pure Bmth Lately
the vocals at the beginning of wdywfm sound so much like sam carter and it trips me out
that thumbnail lol
Artificial suicide must've briefly encountered mick gordon. For that intro
Legit hyped for this, I love weird shit
6:12 ...but Oil's autotuned and Noah's not ;)
……. Noah is auto tuned on this album but he doesn’t need the auto tune! I don’t know why they auto tuned him so much on this album. He doesn’t need it! Oli actually needs the auto tune. Noah is superior!!!!👑👑👑
Everyone's entitled to their rightful opinion, even if they're wrong as shit. Lmaooo Bad Omens didn't miss with those tunes 🙏🙏
Its cool, its new and fresh. Love this band
This is music to get high to.
i’m not a huge fan of bring me the horizon, but i LOVE bad omens and noah’s voice, but idk 🤷🏼♂️
This is a masterpiece
Heirloom- the Furthest corners!
Better BMTH is coming to the stage.
I wouldn't say the first one was to set the mood. Nothing happens and it just goes, and that's actually the point. Music video was made for the exact same purpose, for you to realize that. I'm not saying you should like it or it's necessarily good but definitely its own thing.
“Artificial Suicide” is almost NIN- “Sin”
It’s like BMTH is they listened to their fans
Я знаю, що ти зрозумієш 😄
Коли слухаєш першу пісню на думку одразу спадає Grimes - We Appreciate Power
Im back with "Sick" by Banks Arcade
No OM&M reaction to fighting gravity, echo and helplessly hoping?
I get the BMTH vibes but personally I think Bad Omens is on a whole other level. They are so much better (all together) in my opinion. I can’t even stand to listen to BMTH anymore unless a very rare song catches my attention
That's also what I thought, he actually sounds like like OLI and it would be cool if they actually did a collab with BMTH
Yes
The weird synths and random noises (also the overly modulated guitars following the progression of the song) remind me a lot of songs like Only or Sunspots of N.I.N
I love how they aren’t Deathcore like Lorna shore and I do love both bands
I sniffed out a lil of Memphis in that guitar riff
It’s still hard to get over the fact their self titled was so fucking heavy and great I loved their second album, and only song so far I like on this album so far is this song. But great live it’s like your listening to studio when you see them live
6:05 I literally reacted exactly the same the second before u said that
Yeha, at first I thought it was a feat, but DaM he really sounds like Oli sometimes
Мне нравится, что звучит разнообразно, а это уже хорошо)
Wrote this with them.
industrial sound
Bangers!
These songs are more like Norhtlane's Alien IMO. But I always compared that to NIN which is what every band also gets compared when they use cOmPrEsSiOn (especially on the gats)
Anyone else hear the tony hawks grind combo switch sound effect on the first track?
Me too. I mean this is really the weeknd vibes and BMTH and Korn vibes at the artificial song hmmmm nay for me. Maybe they tryna be different. I’ll listen again next 3 months
Some parts of Artificial Suicide kinda reminds me of hatebreed
"80's Rammstein" it's funny because Rammstein was created in the mid 90's lmao
Sounds like a HEALTH track lol. I don't hate it though
I know you’re disappointed with latest In Hearts Wake album but I still want you to react to their new single
I like what do you want from me it's slaps
Pls check out disposable care by static dress
Artificial suicide is more on my lane but excited for the album...
clean sounds like Oli, true...but Noah's live cleans are top notch nothing compared to Oli...
Prompts - Möbius please?
I love Bad Omens, but I cant get on with "what do you want from me." As an opener, maybe. Death of Peace of mind was so good and i hope their new songs kinda are the same. It seems they have gone away from their sound in FGBGFM, and I really hope they haven't completely.
I found FGBGFM to be really safe and generic. This album seems to be taking a lot of risks, which to me is paying off in spades so far.
@@designateddriveranddragons8845 it is growing on me, i cant lie
I personally loved it. Not everyone is for it but every time i listen to it, i can pick up little things that i didn't hear before
Hate this and love it. But primarily hate it because it has such a good breakdown groove and I have to sit through two minutes of trash to get there.
CP2077 soundtrack be like:
this reminds me of nine inch nails and low key growing on me
Unfortunately both tracks sound a lot like BMTH. I thought with the last album, Omens finally found their own sound, apparently not. I don't know if it's contagious or what, but I really hope their album is going to be more original. 😔
Very BMTH but it slaps!
He sounds like Jordan not Ollie, Ollie doesn’t sound.
Bad omens> bmth, I like noah’s voice better and he is
Just a little more chill XD
you doing a full album reaction to the new sion album on patreon? thought youd be doing one but cant find it on there!
This has Doom all over it. I don't know how to feel about it. I love the Doom soundtrack, but the mixes in sound here is a little weird.
Wow another bmth similarity channel how origional
AVIIRA INSANITY REACTION PLEASE MAN
Weird and beautiful..
