This is what Noah had to say about IDWT$ "IDWT$ was entirely Joakim’s brainchild and I simply helped with the lyrics. One day I walked past his room and he called me in to show me a song idea he’d started for another band we write for, and I was instantly hooked on it and told him we had to keep this for us and that I wanted to sing it. The subject matter in this one is pretty self-explanatory if you read the lyrics. We’re sick and tired of working as hard as do for the table scraps. Doing everything we can to find the motivation to keep going with the same effort we’ve always put in when prosperity feels like a fantasy. Tired of making every other person besides us, the ones who make and perform and live the actual music, tons of money while we constantly put ourselves, our lives, even our health when necessary, last - and that we’re not going to do it any longer."
I love this album, AOTY for me. I really like how they left the soft stuff in to curb expectations. Similar to a Linkin Park release it’s such a big change it’s gonna take time to get over the initial shock but creatively it’s insane , and trend changing . Noah has big time talent , and I love that it shows on this record. They definitely made their own brand with this one , be curious to see what this does to the rest of the industry sound wise . It’s turning a lot of heads for sure . Just think about how many different genre playlists they can cover on Spotify with this haha there are very few “Metal” bands that can and have done this
I totally agree man! Like who knows what their next release is going to be like. Completely changing the game here with their pop and edm influences mashed with metalcore.

I think Concrete Jungle and Artificial Suicide are the best tracks, with Nowhere to Go, The Grey, and Like a Villain being close seconds.
Personally the chorus of just pretend hit like a truck, enjoyed the songs before but when it hits I knew it’d be my favourite track

Sick reaction mate! I love the album man, i can see how divisive it will be especially with people wanting more heavier tracks but I really like what they’ve done.

If they had taken out 'Who are you' and 'Bad decisions' and put a heavier track similar to 'Artificial Suicide' this would've been AOTY.

100% agree with you, those tracks sounded a lot like The Weeknd and I do like soft but they had no originality in my opinion.
Miracle sounds a lot like The Ants Go Marching One By One and it's fucking hilarious to me.

I was personally slightly disappointed with the album as I was expecting more heavier songs. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the album and Bad Omens are still one of my all time favourite bands.
I hear ya man. I was slightly disappointed at first. After giving these songs another listen, even the softer ones, they are really growing on me!

Tbh I Wasn't Impressed With This Album At All And I Only Say that Cuase Ik They Can Do So Much Better I think The Thing It Really Came Down To Was The Fact They Experimented With This Album Way To Much it Doesn't Have A Good Enough Flow Either Like Theirs Way To Many Softer Tracks One Or Two Maybe Even Three Whould Of Been Fine But Idk Man I Still Love These guys Always Will But Theirs Only A Couple Songs I Actually Like On this Record
