this podcast/interview has a lot of potential, I just feel Morgan should be more confident in what he's asking and focus less on trying to make this interview different/not boring/"cool". The band hasn't interviewed in years its okay to ask basic questions like "how was the song writing process" especially since they also haven't put out music in years and the music is so different and new from ptv's previous work.
good point but theres something very raw and authentic about his interview style here even if its not totally thought out or planned. You can tell he really just wants whats best for these guys you cant say that for a lot of interviewers.

i saw pierce the veil for the first time when i was 11 years old. second time i was 12. i’m so thankful to have seen them during warped tour and during their misadventures tour :)) it’s so crazy to see them change and grow!
saw them this past friday night at stone pony in asbury park nj which was their first show of their tour and it was surreal! these guys will forever be dope af!🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
37:20 obviously the virality plays a huge part but I really think it’s so interesting to see how many younger ppl are getting into ptv. I guess I skew younger bc I was 13 around their peak but still even teens know them. It’s something the industry should really pay attention too bc music scenes need young ppl to really keep them going, rock suffers from the stuck in the past mindset that rejects changes, which turns off young ppl. Times are always changing and nobody wants to be stuck in a crowd of dudes who ironically can’t let go of high school, it needs fresh faces in the crowds. Teen culture made the warp tour scene, it’s wild how the same scene reject that today with “back in my day” mindsets.
I love Pierce the Veil more than any other artist. I've seen them live 4 times and I have all their albums 💜. These guys basically helped raise me with their music, concerts, and interviews. So excited for them and whats to come!
I am SO excited for them to be back. It's been a while since we heard them, they grew up, it's only natural their music changes. I love the sound personally though, and I can't wait to see what's next.
Jamie I was at one of your last shows, vic signed my drum head with sum 41, and it was your birthday Jamie, you gave my friend Phil a free ticket 🎟 to the show, and when you came in the mosh pit you were standing in front of me, we jumped together and you wacked my best friend noah with your bass guitar in the head 😆 😆 😆 great times man. I'll never forget that show in the new Hampshire ballroom. I hope you read this one day. ❤️ and I hope your bday was great lol 😆 and yes Noah is fine lol he's proud of it actually 😄
The new song literally gives me chills everytime I listen to it. It's been so long & awaited for the new album! I must say their past albums still kick a** everytime! Unfortunately I haven't been able to secure tickets for their show in LA on October 😭 I'll keep trying 🙏🏽❤️ #PTV is fire! 🔥❤️
I met ptv back in 2012 it was a life changing experience now 12 years later I have my sons into their music and can’t wait to take them to see them one day and hopefully get to meet them
okay one thing that needs to be said morgan needs to be more confident i could feel his anxiety the whole time and it was making me anxious as well like it was all i could think about watching this. but you really have potential loved the ptv interview but just work on your interviewing skills it should get better over time and i think i could actively seeing myself watching this weekly/monthly
I love how the bass player shamelessly has the frontman vibe haha its like the guy at the party talking about how he's going to have the ladies screaming when he whips it out, then lets all 4 inches fly and the ladies all burst out laughing and he confidently looks you dead in the eye and says "i told you so"
I loved this show so much! I feel like we got to see the band in a setting they were more comfortable in & I actually preferred this to a standard one dimensional interview. I was entertained the whole time. I will be tuning in literally every week
Really great to see PTV out and about again. Kinda wish he had asked them some better questions especially about their process. Couldn’t help but feel like the interviewer didn’t do these guys justice, felt kinda awkward. I appreciate that he complimented them so much but honesty it was a bit over the top kinda uncomfortable to watch. Also how is it that Vic looks like he hasn’t aged a day?
I found out about PTV when I was 13 in 2013. Their music has been a constant in my life for the past like 10 years, even through the big time period between albums. I'll listen till the very end 💜
PTV has always sounded like them and has foooorked this punk scene up. Did they sell out? No. They waited and did what they love. My son and I sing all the songs. Love love love. I'm 30 so...fan for life

Wow dude. I completely missed all this. I discovered jaws of life today not knowing they released something new. This is awesome. I just started watching this interview. Maybe they'll address Mike not being there later in the podcast. I can't lie, it sucks not seeing Mike sitting with them. Whatever, glad they're back anyway
I like how everyone is using a different mic. Feels like it was a spontaneous thing and they just grabbed whatever mics were around and set it up quickly.
I LOVE Morgan's vision for this podcast!! Wanting to make sure the artists say everything they want to say and have a fun enticing interview feels fresh and REAL. Morgans right, while its funny to ask little small talk throw away questions, we want to know about the creation of the music and the feel of doing that for the band! I found it so cool to hear about the recording process and the fact they all lived in a house together to record and just constantly live in music! Looking forward to more of these!!
I have absolutely missed you guys so much. Your music still always gets me pumped after listening to it. I'm so glad your still together making music. Mad awesome dudes

i saw pierce the veil for the first time when i was 11 years old. second time i was 12. i’m so thankful to have seen them during warped tour and during their misadventures tour :)) it’s so crazy to see them change and grow!
I'll be 85 and still listen to PTV
“Are… are you guys proud of this album?”
Nah they’re gonna say hell no we hate it but Fearless is forcing us to release it lol
“having two jaime’s on anything is probably better than one”
saw them this past friday night at stone pony in asbury park nj which was their first show of their tour and it was surreal! these guys will forever be dope af!🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Watching this is just making me more and more excited to see them later this month
I’ve seen many bands live, nothing has touched pierce the veil. These guys are magicians. Conduits.
Gotta say, coheed and cambria, they are pretty spot on live. Check those videos out, powerful concerts.
@@tiffanys9878 haven’t seen them, definitely on my list now! Thanks
This makes me even more excited for their concert in November Im going to!!!
@@apiranha1 the best cd is the first one from 2003. Not one bad song. Crazy buildups
@@apiranha1 the crowing is a good one
When Tony says "Do people remember" OMG if only they knew!!!
Dude kind of annoyed me tbh, but happy to see PtV making music again and I can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
Big fan and I’m just so happy to see these guys thrive definitely buying the album
Awesome 👌🏽 👏🏼 😅😂🤣😭💀
The new song literally gives me chills everytime I listen to it. It's been so long & awaited for the new album! I must say their past albums still kick a** everytime! Unfortunately I haven't been able to secure tickets for their show in LA on October 😭 I'll keep trying 🙏🏽❤️ #PTV is fire! 🔥❤️
Love them so much! Cant wait for the album!!!
watching this and i still can’t believe vic is a dad now 😿❤️
What a great band to kick off your first show with!
I met ptv back in 2012 it was a life changing experience now 12 years later I have my sons into their music and can’t wait to take them to see them one day and hopefully get to meet them
Pierce the veil has always been one of the best bands
Only discovered the music and started listening recently but I absolutely love you guys
Saw them live in 2013 with all time low & mayday parade.. THE RAWRING 20s ARE HERE XD 🖤
okay one thing that needs to be said morgan needs to be more confident i could feel his anxiety the whole time and it was making me anxious as well like it was all i could think about watching this. but you really have potential loved the ptv interview but just work on your interviewing skills it should get better over time and i think i could actively seeing myself watching this weekly/monthly
I love how the bass player shamelessly has the frontman vibe haha its like the guy at the party talking about how he's going to have the ladies screaming when he whips it out, then lets all 4 inches fly and the ladies all burst out laughing and he confidently looks you dead in the eye and says "i told you so"
I CANT WAIT FOR THE MUSIC VIDEO LETS GOOOOO
Ugh these guys are timeless ❤️🔥
The gentleman conducting the interview is on so much kratom.
I loved this show so much! I feel like we got to see the band in a setting they were more comfortable in & I actually preferred this to a standard one dimensional interview. I was entertained the whole time. I will be tuning in literally every week
If Vic told me I could text him whenever I’d probably actually die
Pierce the veil is gonna continue to grow even bigger than they expect I believe
Morgan was so right about their past interviews. This is one of the best band interviews I’ve seen!
I bought collide with the sky in 2014 I've never seen them live yet .....I'm taking my 6 yr old son when I do....
I can’t express how happy that single made me, ON REPEAT
I GOT TO SEE THEM PLAY MY NEW FAVE SONG LAST WEEK IN OKC🥰
I found out about PTV when I was 13 in 2013. Their music has been a constant in my life for the past like 10 years, even through the big time period between albums. I'll listen till the very end 💜
PTV has always sounded like them and has foooorked this punk scene up. Did they sell out? No. They waited and did what they love. My son and I sing all the songs. Love love love. I'm 30 so...fan for life
Feels like 13 year old me all over again watching their interviews
This si incredible. It's amazing yo see these guys back.
I agree that the podcast has a lot of potential. It would be nice not to hear the f-word every two seconds though.
Wow dude. I completely missed all this. I discovered jaws of life today not knowing they released something new. This is awesome. I just started watching this interview. Maybe they'll address Mike not being there later in the podcast. I can't lie, it sucks not seeing Mike sitting with them. Whatever, glad they're back anyway
This dude is like the anti-2010ish Warped Tour RUclips interviewer that shall not be named and I love it. Cant wait for more.
Ryan satellites
Vic’s wearing the hat he wore in the Spotify banner!
At first I thought I was gonna hate this interview but it has turned out to be literally the best interview. Great vibes ugh
Emo Nite podcast!? LET'S GO!!
I have absolutely missed you guys so much. Your music still always gets me pumped after listening to it. I'm so glad your still together making music. Mad awesome dudes
im here for the last 5 min , thought this would be more in depth but love u ptv
no matter what happens ptv is always have a space in my heart because they are to far different from other bands out there
Gonna go see ptv live in October for my very first time and I'm just so excited
