pretty sure the "i was about to place a bid" message is in reference to forza horizon, in the game you can buy cars from an auction and potentially get them for cheaper than just buying them normally. you can also just buy out the cars, which just gives you the cars. basically: these 2 people were bidding on a car, one had just found out about it (or was about to place a higher bid,) meanwhile, another person was about to place a bid, but they accidentally bought out the car.

I like how the older Emkay videos had an intro where the narrator introduces his/herself and says the name of the subreddit we are looking at I miss hearing things like “what’s boppin’ it’s me Robin” or “I’m Jack the snack that smiles back” or “what’s up sexy I’m Lexi” I miss that and also some of the subreddit titles are kind of difficult to read so it helped me out sometimes when they would say the title of the subreddit
