All Grid Games (Ranked) / 2023

Since 2008, Codemasters has worked hard to deliver outstanding race simulation games. They pit gamers from all around the world against one another to become the next GRID racing champion. While it’s not always been smooth sailing for the series, there are moments that I still look fondly upon, and others not so much. Just like any other long-running franchise, GRID has had its highs and lows.
Overall, though, there's been a steady stream of irresistible racing simulation in all Formula 1 glory. If only they would make RaceDriver: GRID (#1) backwards compatible... Would buy the game again for sure for my SERIES X. One of my favorite racing games all-time!

Grid 2 is backward compatible, if only they made the first one the same! 👌🏾🙏🏽

I own all the grid games but the one I have most fun playing is GRID 2. The newer grid games on Xbox one have lost the sense of speed and rivalry. Make the slightest mistake on grid 2 and they will pass you and then make it hard for you to catch them again. The cars and crowd noise is also more engaging.

Great ranking! Personally I'd swap Legends with G2, simply because there's "more" game to play. OG Grid is an all timer and Autosport hits that perfect balance between arcade and full-sim

Totally agree. RDG was a superb racing game. Not bettered by Codemasters yet. Now 15 years old. Same as NFSMW 2005. Another All Time Superb Racing Entry. And the Ken Block PS3 game Dirt. What is it with modern day game developers?
Are they all sitting around with their hands up their ass?
Can’t release a decent game for toffee. 😂

You see it with other games too like classic RPG’s. Fallout with FO3 not being bettered despite 2 other games released since. BioWare’s ME3 another superb RPG science fiction entry, not again bettered. The sequels are horrendous. Skyrim now entering it’s second decade. Today”s consoles are retailing at £600 such as the PS5, but the game catalogue compared to 2 decades ago is atrocious.
Get ya fingers out of your asses game devs.

I wish they could make a remake of Race Driver GRID 🥲 . I still fell in love with this game and play it perhaps 3 hours per week . It never gets old
