it just feels right to have the raw game played with a wheel, ya know. Not a simulation of reality, but so real you just have to get a wheel to feel like a real ass racer.
I remember playing the arcade version in a mall in 2018. The first time I was surprised because the game lets you continue if you finish in the top 3. Physics felt good as well. After some time I realized it was actually a triple-A video game ported to arcade 😂. Best arcade i’ve ever tried, definitely way better than wangan midnight

Wow you mean to tell me it’s actually possible to finish in anything other than last place? Played this today at an arcade (it was next to outrun 2 sp which I also played), but going fast felt impossible and I felt like there was something preventing me from catching up. Other people were having the same issue. Oh well,
The AI cars tend to slowdown at last lap to give you an opening for overtake. Then you need to learn positioning to prevent then passing you on the last meters/miles before finish line. Look at my Milan Race 2nd Lap at 7:54 i am blocking then. They are trying to pass me in the last curves, as you see by the red arrows in the HUD. Unless the Arcade Store owner set the game on Hardest Difficulty, as the AI play like an Ravenwest driver and they are faster than you even if they use an slower car.
@@alexsayskmk I was at an arcade once where the game seemingly ran at 30fps in slow motion, dunno how to describe it but only my car was affected. I know how it plays usually and it was just impossible to win on that machine.
On a cabinet at Scotland the brakes would randomly come on and I got sent down to second place at the very last second, other than that it's similar enough to the real game
Exemplo: 1920 x 1080 ---- width="1920" height="1080" oldWidth="1920" oldHeight="1080" 2560 x 1440 ---- width="2560" height="1440" oldWidth="2560" oldHeight="1440" 3840 x 2160 ---- width="3840" height="2160" oldWidth="3840" oldHeight="2160"
who would've knew that the arcade version wouldn't be much different than the original release

@skywalker_mfg I only got myself to play the game on PC, it'll be awesome to experience it on an arcade one day.
I didn't know about Okutama, I'm planning to go on one of these no matter how much it costs me in the end. Cheers!

What happened to the timestamps for this video?
RUclips flagged (warning) my channel, so they dont work until it wears off.
Also i have very low amount of subscribers.
@@alexsayskmk Oh I see. When will it wear off?
