I bet that was an awesome experience being able to make laps! I remember seeing Kyle Petty win a Dover back in the day in the mellow yellow car and the peak anti-freeze car! He was great at Dover! Loved that car!
Always love seeing the Mellow Yellow car on the track !
Can’t believe how good the racing surface is after all these years it sat idle. I mean yeah it needed cleaning up and I’m sure to fill the cracks in but it’s a nice worn in surface. Drivers love that.
That black and bright green Mello Yello car always stood out when on the track. Great looking car. Nice view from the roof camera too. ESPN had the roof cam back in the early to mid 1990's. A great view from the top of the car, especially on superspeedways.

I went by the track Thursday and it was so weird looking to see all the back straightaway grandstand seats and turn 2 seats gone. They tore them down.
They tore down the grand stands by 421?
@@ekfalcons09 on the back straightaway with the box seats on top. Not the ones right next to 421.
No need to speed through any of your footage. Those of us (not me!) who aren't interested can either scroll ahead or speed-up the playback via "settings."
Why don't they actually put on a race with those old cars? That be Hella boaring for me to just put around at 65 mph . What's the point?
Doing a little faster than 65 man. The point is to keep the cars alive. Keep them on track for the fans to see. Not to destroy them racing.
