This was the most thorough information on grow lights I have heard. Now I need to rearrange my plants under the grow lights. Had them all together getting the same amount of hours under the lights. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
@@PlantsandLucia btw now I Kno why my succulent is so dang long lol. Its South facing but the tree in back starts shading so much mid summer on. Thanks I can fix it now.

It’s really useful to have a video that’s thorough and has the information I was looking for (as well as extra helpful tips I didn’t know I needed!) without having to watch through a really long introduction etc. Thanks for the help! :)
I have watched sooooo many videos on grow lights for indoor plants. All of them left me more confused. Your video explained so much to me in a way I could understand and apply. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful of how you shared this information.

This was definitely the best information on grow lights Lucia! Great job! I also love LED lights and have the Sansi bulb and the Haus Bright bulb. Winter and the Sun shifts are something you can't control, adding grow lights can take your plants through the Winter. 🌱💚😊

Interesting because mine is right on the window sill with the most light, but slightly leaning as well! I keep turning it. (Glow Echeverria, if I spelled that right. Growing tall, but side leaves keep falling. Strong, though.)
Very helpful! I bought some red and blue lights for my plants but never understood why. Asides they work great. My apartment is under a loooot of trees and never gets any sunlight.
I read on one forum that red light is used mostly in agricultural greenhouses for growing fruits or vegetables and blue light is used for growing leaf mass...
Wow thank you so much this was so interesting!! I have an avocado that I have grown from seed and it's really long and spindly...now I think I know why :) Now I really want to get a lamp and the book as well...
You should give some information on real grow lights like the high-intensity discharge lights. Like the high pressure sodium, metal halide and the newer ceramic metal halide.
Thank you so much! This was really informative and also great explained how to use these, the difference, combining them etc. I've read and watched everything related to light for indoor plants and what I should buy before it get so dark here in Sweden.
