If the cultural or festival fund is collected per financial year & no festival or pooja is done that year, that what is the next option ,is it compulsory to spend the festival fund collected should be spent for that particular year.

Hello Sir, Our society is imposing this festival fund charge on us. Inspite of writing to the society to remove this fund from our bill they are still levying it in the maintenance bill. Can you provide specific bye laws or clauses which specify that the society can't force the members to pay this festival fund?

In the limited capacity of my knowledge, I can say that even General Body cannot pass resolution to collect festival charges from each member or cannot make it compulsory. Please keep supporting. Can Managing Committee has power to appoint an auditor and Or Can general body authorised m. c. to appoint an auditor for the period? and is it valid that the resolutions passed in the gb which are not in the agenda

In the limited capacity of my knowledge I would like to inform you that General Body can pass resolution of appointment of Statutory Auditor. If due some reasons Auditors interest letters not received by the Society then General Body can authorise Managing Committee to appoint an Auditor if majority of attendees are agree for the same. @@CHSKnowledgeCenter Thank you very much for your prompt reply. But, actually when we receive minutes it is written there that " Powers have been given to m. c. to appoint an auditor". During the cource of agm nothing has been informed to members, that who is our auditor for the year our m. C. does not raised the point about the appointment of an auditor and suddenly it appears in the minutes. Is there any practice that mc should put 4/5 names from the panel and then gb can select one of them?
Dear Mr. Suhas Girme Saheb, Greetings! It is not compulsory to table 4 to 5 Interest letters of Statutory Auditor for getting approval from General Body. Managing Committee can put table any one Panel Statutory Auditor's Interest letter for the approval of General Body. Thanks
