Smallest Church in America - Townsend, Georgia - Church Tour

Join me at the Smallest Church in America, located in Townsend, Georgia right off of I-95 and US Highway 17. Also known as Christ's Chapel in Memory Park, the church was built in 1949 by Mrs. Agnes Harper and deeded to Jesus Christ. The church is just 190 square feet, has three rows of pews, a small pulpit and pretty stained glass windows that lets light into the building. The church was a dream come true for Mrs. Harper, a local grocer. She wanted the chapel to serve as a place of meditation and rest for weary travelers.
