- Another flight video! Once again a takeoff from SFO, this time headed to Houston where I caught a connecting flight to Orlando. United provided a fine experience for me and the group I was traveling with. Overall a nice flight, even if clouds obscured some of my view during takeoff.

Nice use of speed app. Incredible how fast that thing accelerated. Hit 180 mph rotation speed in 30 seconds from maxing thrust to liftoff. Looks like it wasn't terribly heavy even though three hours is a hike for a 737.
Yeah, I'm glad I had that app on my phone, it was definitely interesting to see real time especially! The plane wasn't completely full, but it also wasn't empty. If it was lighter then there must not have been much stuff down beneath.

Yes, as a matter of fact I FINALLY caught a couple of them last week! Both were on the 25. They seem to be mostly running them on the 25 and 55 right now, at least as far as the ones out in the Cupertino area. Videos will be coming soon! Also got a 99 Phantom today on the 23!

That's a long flight! SFO definitely has the most international flights of any airport around here, so I'm not surprised you'll be flying out of there. You'll be on a much bigger plane than this though. Probably a 747 or A340.

Jowevator 3219 SFO gets a lot of heavies. I'm guessing it was likely a 777 (if not 747, A380, 787, etc) or will be since those have taken over on long hauls. Depends on which airline you are flying.
