I absolutely loved this game! I honestly never had trouble with the map or navigating. I think many of Kirby’s abilities just made traversing the map pretty fun. I personally loved Candy Constellation the most. Best theme in the game by a wide margin.
imagine it being my first kirby as a kid, loving it and then discovering its the only metroidvania of the franchise...hurts till this day, one of my all time favs games
This was my first ever kirby game and I absolutely loved it. Having played metroid beforehand, I felt right at home. That being said though, it was really rough for a first playthrough.
You probably need to play it again because we all never appreciated games the first time around. People complain about the lack of difficulty, so yea lol.
All of the Flagship games I played are some of my favorite games. I remember playing Kirby Amazing Mirror with my brother co-op back when it came out, we were hardcore Metroid fans and the map in this game was brutal. Fuck the mine level, all those one way oaths sucked. Besides that, this game ate about as many hours as Pokemon did for us, what an insane and fantastic game!
“baby’s first metroidvania” - I played Amazing Mirror for the first time this year, loved it, the title made me feel bullied lololol

(if you got this reference, you deserve a cookie)
This was my first Kirby game and holy shit was this game hard and confusing. I had no idea how to progress after a point and give up.
I thought the baby's first Metroidvania was Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance!
well now its on switch
