Now the hair masks they made were phenomenal so maybe I was expecting that same energy when these came around!
What bothers me, is that they don't do it because people where asking for it, but they see a very big market around the worl people are embracing curly hair; what Garnier sees is an opportunity to increase their profits by making a clean product charging mooooooore for it, that their other products. Butm hey, I get it, I do not always have the coin. But I'll try to turn more to the DIY, rather that give them more money.
@@jiedcogahilme676 welcome to the world, that's called business, and I don't see these brands charging 'extra', actually a lot of them are cheaper, in the other hand Deva Curl and their products around 20$. Dear lord!
You were my first curly hair youtuber! Thanks for all the tips, you introduced me to deva curl i was using no product before! Love your curly hair videos
I love when my hair has some crunch to it. I know I can get my curls to last three to four days without refreshing when I have a crunch to my hair on day one.
The jelly I love because it holds my curls for a week very defined. Curl smoothies make my curls nice and soft but not nearly as defined and my curls are messed up through the day and especially over night. I used to have to condition and style my curls daily and now they last days with little refreshing. So although the jelly leaves my curls crunchy, there's no flaking, they curl perfectly and hold for a week. I could wear them three days in a row without even spraying with water to refresh. Been a life saver for me. I'm mid 30s with 3C curls and have had to condition and style my hair daily all my life. It's very expensive, time consuming, requires more blow drying/heat damage and is so tiring. You end up sticking your hair in buns more often and have less fun with it. Now I'm using 1/7 of the product in a week and I even need to use less in the one application because it goes much further. Plus I get to do more fun styles and just feel my best put together self each day without the unnecessary effort. For softer curls I prefer Mark Anthony coconut cream curls smoothie. Although it won't last me to day 2, it's a very lovely soft look. I tried the Garnier curl butter and it was very heavy on my hair, weighing it down significantly and making it feel non stop sticky, even after it dries. It didn't make my curls look good or defined and you want to wash it out immediately. Plus products that flake require washing daily otherwise they flake worse each day and look bad. I think to fully see what products can do, you need to apply them on product free hair rather than refreshing with a different product each day. But the review is useful still and she does have a beautiful head of hair and personality. That cut especially really showcases her girls. Cheers
I love of informative this video was! You should definitely review more products you don’t like so we can avoid buying them if it’s not for us. Love you!
I agree with you. The smoothie and jelly worked better for you hair. This line hasn't really caught my attention, but after seeing your results, I might give it a try. Thanks for the review! 💜
I am not a fan of Garnier, and after seeing your results, I really don't think I will try them. I don't have fine hair but I do not like my hair feeling like it has product or residue...thank you for your honesty, I trully appreciate it!
It is so interesting how different products perform on different hair and different types. I tried the smoothie yesterday for a refresh with the not your mothers curl talk gel and I feel like my waves are really defined compared to the definition I've experienced since starting my wavy hair journey. I would say I'm a 2b/2c and I have really long thick hair.
I believe that you are only suppose to purchase one of these for whatever type of hair you have. Website says: Smoothie is for type 2 hair Jelly is for type 3 hair Butter is for type 4 hair
I definitely like the Jelly the best for my 3b fine texture. I found that less is more and it works best when paired with a cream underneath so it doesn't dry out my curls. I'm curious about the beeswax ingredient! I had no idea that one was typically avoided in the GCM. Would love to hear more!
Sophia H I just used it by itself. I left the twists in for 3 days then got another 5 days out of my twist out. It was amazing. I don’t like it for wash-n-gos though.
@@jac-ques.s.7234 ohh okay. Thanks. I juat bought it on clearance sale at target. I wonder why its on sale... maybe they making another one or my store just kicking it to the curb.
Sophia H cool. Try it out on the cheap. I got it while I was in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and didn’t have my regular products so this was a pleasant surprise. I have not tried the others.
Thanks for the review! I've been on the fence about these trying any of these products. I find it interesting how you used the different products for refresh... technically by the time you used the jelly you had all three products in your hair on some level. I'm curious if you would still like the jelly if it was a single use product on wash day.
So Coincidentally I saw this product in Target and decided to give it try since Im always on the hunt for good curly hair products since I have girls with different curl patterns. My daughter tried it on her hair and when I tell you I had never seen such definition on her hair I kid you not. Everyone at school complemented her in school about pretty and defined her curls looked, and even on third day hair it still looked real good which usually is not the case. By the second day she usually has to refresh her hair. I noticed that with this product the hair actually looks better with time if that makes sense. I bought the butter one because she has course hair. Maybe thats why it worked so good on her hair. I personally liked how it looked on my daughters hair and the price point is good too.
I just baught this jelly just recently. My hair doesn't have as nice of curls like you. I have a mix of wavy and kinky curl with ton of frizz in the summer. I've watched a few of your product reviews, and I appreciate you so much! I am excited to see how it works for me!
Thank you for your honesty! As soon as I saw people talking about these products on IG, I looked at the ingredients and shook my head. So many companies want to jump into “CG friendly” when they don’t even know. 😂
Thanks for this review, I tried those little Treat conditioners and they were ok, like sometimes they worked just ok and sometimes they sucked. The price is right, but I'd rather pay a little more for something that's consistent. I feel like the butters would be too thick for my hair.
My curls are between 2C and 3A. I have Italian heritage and coarse hair. I used the fructis for curl styling butter -- hydrating for coarse hair. My hair is thick, and even individual strands are thicker than average. I tried it on washed and unwashed hair. It felt heavy for me on day of shampoo and one day after. I tried different amounts--realizing it's only supposed to use a little. I have long hair--to top of my butt. For my hair type I prefer off the shelf Suave mousse "Max Hold"--which also has glycerin, but doesn't seem to give my hair the product build up feel the first day I use it. It's much lighter--still does crunchy curls, but then they feel loose and soft.
I only use the garnier fructis 1 minute masks. I also have a 3b hair texture and none of the products except the jelly didn’t work for my hair. The 1 minute hair masks are okay for my hair texture but not bad or amazing. I ❤️ our videos Bianca!
I bought the curl jelly, I was really happy at how fast it came out in Canada. Usually with big companies they release products and product lines in the States and it takes FOREVER for it to come to Canada. My curl type is 2c/3a, and it's high porosity and fine, but thick (density) and I'm still figuring out how to use it properly. When it's very evenly distributed, on moisturized hair, i love it. But if you don't pay close attention it will have some curls rock hard and some undefined and frizzy. Other than that it's nice and leaves my hair bouncy and defined.
I have the jelly and I'm very pleased with it. I typically use flaxseed gel that I make myself. But it is really good to know that there is a product I can use in an emergency.
I’ve always loved your videos and I learnt how to take care of my hair from you. However, I find your method of experimenting with these products highly flawed. You should have tried each product on absolutely clean hair. Maybe try one product for a week then switch to the next one in the next week and so forth. With applying all the products in the same week what has happened is that you can not be completely sure whether it was that particular product used that day or it was the combination of the first and second and then the third one. It’s just what I think would have given each product a fair chance to work on its own. Really sorry if my comment sounds rude, I’m not trying to be rude or obnoxious. It’s a common mistake among the scientists as well, that’s why they have to be careful while designing an experiment to make sure it’s an unbiased one. I’ve seen that most of your product reviews are unbiased and quite accurate and that’s why I love your channel
Yah thank you for making this!! Was so curious about this line!! Def gonna try the jelly bc you recommended me the DD girls with curls and I’m still OBSESSED with it!

Didn't care for these products but thanks for the video. I would like you to try Eden Body Works natural deep conditioning with jojoba plus it has some tea tree oil. I was waiting on this review soooo bad. I bought the smoothie and jelly and have been using it for about 2-3 weeks and I do like the results BUT I do have to say I have the same feeling in my hands as you described and I thought I was just using too much. And OMG I have been experiencing flaking BAD! and I thought it was dandruff and purchased dandruff shampoo/conditioner. Gosh, I might have to stop using and see how my scalp looks. Thanks for the review.

Since I did suffer from dandruff before I thought I came back, but I want to be sure.
Well the results in my opinion was an epic fail, (thank goodness Bee knows how to save a bad wash n go)!!! I appreciate you taking the time out to test these for us Bee👍💕🎆🎇🎉💋✨
Definitely going to try the jelly. India liked it too and her hair is similar to mine. After two thumbs up from some of my favorite curly gurus, it's worth a try.
Wow that cream is really thick. Since I have very dense, coarse dry hair with high porosity, I'm gonna try it. These types of cream always work for me. Thanks for the review. It seems you did not like the products, but your hair is different from mine, so I can have an idea of how they will work on me.
What I do is use the butter in the shower. After I shampoo and condition I run this through my hair, running to my ends and squeezing on my roots. I comb it and rinse it all out. Then do some other things in my routine. Before I hop out (while the water's still running) I take a little and spread it out in the wet hair. Then stop the water and wring it all out. Works great for me.
I feel like the only person Maui Moisture doesn’t work for me, their conditioners dried my hair out terribly 😩. Probably because Aloe vera juice is usually the first ingredient in most of their products. They also have alcohol (the drying kind not the good fatty ones) and glycerin high on the list (top 5) of ingredients for many of their products.
Hey Bianca, something i think you should maybe look into and maybe even do a video series on about are home made herbal hair rinses. I have long wavy/coarse hair normally and after just two rinses my hair is noticeably softer and more shiny. Super easy to make too, and different herbs have different uses for different hair types. best part is, you can combine the herbs yourself to get different results!!
I personally love your video format... if you know in your heart you dont mess with a product like that and it doesn't check all your boxes why waste time? I love that your channel is straight forward. Although it is fun to watch regardless 😍 love just seeing you on camera with those curls. I support you either way 😍❤🙌🏽 I'd suggest a series or playlist of "not my favs" or something worded better lol
I stay away from ALL garnier products. Five years ago I used their version of a "at home" Brazilian blow out and it ruined my hair! I had long, curly, thick beautiful hair and just wanted to try something new. Worst mistake I EVER made 😭. It completely fried my hair and it began to come out in chunks. The damage was so bad that my hair stylist had to shave my head. Yes!! Shaved it all off. I was devastated!! I contacted the company and they basically stated that I could not prove it was their product that caused the damage. My hair grew back very different. My curls are not the same and it's been difficult to grow back. I recommend staying away from this product line. I wish happy hair to all! 😁
I'm glad you reviewed these even though they weren't your favorite. It was helpful and good to see. I actually bought the smoothie and have super thick hair. I have enjoyed enough but prefer Soultanicals creams. I have a hard time finding creams that don't have protein in them and Soultanicals is amazing. #curlygirl
Thank you for reviewing. I honestly never had the desire to even try it as none of their products have ever been clean and all of the sudden they bring out three. Even when I wasn’t cgm Their products would dry out my hair like Cantu.
I use the butter and the jelly on second day hair to refresh and my hair seems to really like it. I do like to watch reviews tho just to see. It doesnt work for everyone tho. Love watching you ❤
I have all 3 stylers. I like the jelly but it does have crunch and I get great waves and definition. Please note I don’t even like gels. I like the hair creams but I kept having flakes and I thought it was the winter but it wasn’t. The butter dried out my hair and refreshing it was pointless for me. But I just tried the Devacurl Supercream at a Devacurl event and I’m getting my first Devacut on Saturday. Wish me luck and say a prayer that it turns out right. 😊
I actually bought the jelly and the smoothie defining cream n I actually like the feeling for both I do put the smoothie cream first n then the jelly n I like it just because i don’t have to actually use hair spray or mousse to lock my curls to not have that frizziness throughout the day. This product gives me actually the perfect amount of crunchy curls to last me until I get home 😁... Thank u for reviewing this items 👍🏼👌🏼❤️

Me and my husband actually used garnier curl products for 2 years straight. We loved them at first but then it started not working. Started watching your videos and switched to not your mothers curl talk and loved and kept them instantly!! Still using nyms currently❤❤
Ya know I'll just stick to my black owned and or operated brands. And if I want to use other brands that aren't I'll just buy Deva Curl, Curl Smith, Maui Moisture, Or Not your mother's Naturals🤷🏽♂️🤷🏾♀️.
Dear lord!
@@jiedcogahilme676 dyi products actually cost more to make than buying products
You were my first curly hair youtuber! Thanks for all the tips, you introduced me to deva curl i was using no product before! Love your curly hair videos
Ok but I lost it when you said your curl was a head piece 😂😂😂 but now I have to try the gel bc I love a crunch too !
🤣🤷🏽♀️❤️❤️
Love you!
Totally agree
I’ve been using the butter on my hair once or twice a week and I love the way that my hair feels right after.
I almost bought them last night. I won’t be trying it now. 😂 Thank you for your review! I love them.
Your curls are popping . I love your channel. You speak straight facts. You inspire me.😊💖💖
I agree with you.
Website says:
Smoothie is for type 2 hair
Jelly is for type 3 hair
Butter is for type 4 hair
Thank you so ill try smoothie
Brianna Maldonado It says for all hair types on the tubs.
Yesssssssss! They can be very greasy if used a lot. Your reviews are one of the only ones I trust for products 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Can't wait for the CG method video, I need understanding!!! 😂 I love this vid too 🧡
I definitely like the Jelly the best for my 3b fine texture. I found that less is more and it works best when paired with a cream underneath so it doesn't dry out my curls. I'm curious about the beeswax ingredient! I had no idea that one was typically avoided in the GCM. Would love to hear more!
The jelly gave me the best twist-out I’ve ever had❣️👏🏾❤️
What did you use with it? Or just alone?
"Ugh, definition is not there" GIRL I WISH MY CURLS LOOKED LIKE THAT ON MY DAY 1. But yeah the buildup is a NO!
I love how honest you are with your reviews! Curly Queen does it again! Looking forward to next week's videos! 😁❤️
I just got these products yesterday and excited to try. I will try the butter as a mask and see if I like it that way.
I tried the butter and jelly together and loved my results! I only used a tiny bit of product cocktailed and it was perfect 🙌🏽 and it lasted for days
Yah thank you for making this!! Was so curious about this line!! Def gonna try the jelly bc you recommended me the DD girls with curls and I’m still OBSESSED with it!
wow the end result looked really good, im going to get all 3 just to see how they work on my hair, thanks this really helped.
I agree, that you have to make sure to check the product too see it it will work with your hair type! Shoot, it will save you money and time!! I love your honesty with this video :)
I want to see the second and third products separately. I feel like starting with that first one ruined it for the others. Lol
Thank you! The feeling you described on your refresh day is what I try to avoid and the first product is meant for my hair and I don’t want flakes! Glad I ignored it at the store and waited for you! You are awesome! Please let us know about the products you don’t care for!
Yes thank you for reviewing it! I was thinking about getting it but I just was on the fence so I was waiting for your review!
The fact that she is able to just grab the product with her nails like that is what’s amazing
Didn't care for these products but thanks for the video. I would like you to try Eden Body Works natural deep conditioning with jojoba plus it has some tea tree oil. My daughter has the same type of hair like yours and fine and this product is amazing. I really hope you can do a review because I think you are going to LOVE IT.
Blue I believe she did a quick review of the Eden deep conditioning with jojoba oil in one of her “how to deep condition” videos. I believe it’s the video when she cut her hair super short. 🤔
Blue The Eden Body Works Coconut co-wash is amazing!! I heard the jojoba, and themarshmallow deep conditioners are really good, too. Hopefully it works for you.
Right!?! I literally didn’t connect the dots until I saw other people mention it lol
@@BiancaReneeToday I really didnt research it, I went by influencers I follow, and saw they liked it and went ahead to try it since I poor lol this worked the results were good. But I was waiting on your review because say it as it is. So I'm glad you posted this. I will stop using for a few weeks and see of my problem stops. Since I did suffer from dandruff before I thought I came back, but I want to be sure.
I like the jelly. I have the butter and haven't tried it yet, but I'm hoping it will work on my thick, coarse, dry hair.
Hey curlfriend, can you please revisit these products and do wash and gos with just the 2 lighter products?
The curl cast sound was so satisfyingly
I've been addicted to the Maui Moisture Vanilla Bean Hair Butter, so I had to try this butter and I hated it!!!!!
noelisabel Omg I love the Vanilla Bean Hair Butter 😩😩
@@curlswithlizzz_ I love it too, Am a big fan of Maui products. But this garnier butter is not good for my hair, it feels so waxy and weird.
noelisabel Yes after Bianca approved it I’ve been with Maui since. Yeah I don’t think I’d try Garnier, sorry to hear it did that 😩
I feel like the only person Maui Moisture doesn’t work for me, their conditioners dried my hair out terribly 😩. Probably because Aloe vera juice is usually the first ingredient in most of their products. They also have alcohol (the drying kind not the good fatty ones) and glycerin high on the list (top 5) of ingredients for many of their products.
ImNotCallingYouALiar I can’t use Maui Moisture either. I really think it was the alcohol 😕 Moptop has Aloe Vera and other products that I can use.
Thanks for sharing, can't wait for the curly girl method video!
Here i am again looking on bianca the Queen of curly hair👑❤❤
omg laughed out loud at the "Bianca Renee how may I help you?"
Love the video...thanks for your tips..also let us know if use the butter as a mask and how it worked..
*Bianca spilling the tea*
I need that water bottle in my life! They need to start selling more CG products in Canada!
Yes it's hard for us curlies in Canada.
Does anyone know where you can get that bottle?? To (refresh) lol
Just use regular spray bottle
I might try the jelly. I only saw bad reviews on the other two. But the flaking part is new to me. I'll probably just stick to their 3 in 1 masks.
Gurl you look so good! Love how your top goes with the color scheme of the products jsksj, great video ❤️❤️
I LOVE these products. To each their own😊
I'm glad you reviewed these even though they weren't your favorite. It was helpful and good to see. I actually bought the smoothie and have super thick hair. I have enjoyed enough but prefer Soultanicals creams. I have a hard time finding creams that don't have protein in them and Soultanicals is amazing. #curlygirl
I’m curious about the green grayish eyeshadow you are wearing. It matches your shirt brilliantly. Do tell.
Thanks for the honest review. I feel like Garnier are trying to cater to our hair type but not quite there yet.
The Gelee definitely looks better as your hair looked the best when using that one.
Hey love , it’s always nice too see new content ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for reviewing. I honestly never had the desire to even try it as none of their products have ever been clean and all of the sudden they bring out three. Even when I wasn’t cgm Their products would dry out my hair like Cantu.
i use the smoothie and jelly and at first it didn't work at all, but I found it the smoothie really doesn't need a lot to work!
Thank you for making this video 😍 Looking forward to an introduction video to the curly girl method! Which diffuser cap are you using in this video?
The garnier jelly was definitely the best imo BUT...it can’t hold a candle to my beloved MopTop Curly Hair Custard. That stuff is my holy grail!
Well I can’t afford devacurl so I’ll stick to the buildup 🤷🏻♀️😂
Right. Acv wash and that build ups gone anyways.
Devacurl gives a lot of build up too, at least in my brief experience with the products
Enjoy chemical burns I guess lol
I use the butter and the jelly on second day hair to refresh and my hair seems to really like it. I do like to watch reviews tho just to see. It doesnt work for everyone tho. Love watching you ❤
Your hair is so beautiful and and bouncy! Love how it bounces right back up when u apply product. 😊
Gardiner Definitely gives my curls flakes
I actually bought the jelly and the smoothie defining cream n I actually like the feeling for both
I do put the smoothie cream first n then the jelly n I like it just because i don’t have to actually use hair spray or mousse to lock my curls to not have that frizziness throughout the day.
This product gives me actually the perfect amount of crunchy curls to last me until I get home 😁...
Thank u for reviewing this items 👍🏼👌🏼❤️
