I came specifically about the 034 down pipe for 2018 b9 s4…. I’m wondering if it will produce a check engine light even without a tune? I just got my inspection so im good till 2025 but just wondering because I really want to build my car with 034 parts, just in a legal manner Lol
@@dotmff9812you can but your monitors will still show not ready even if the CEL is off. In my situation, I don’t want to take that gamble, I have to put back on the stock DP so I can pass Emissions. My current DP immediately throws a CEL after a couple of miles driving it so it’s a pain in the ass but it depends on the brand in how far you’ll go without a CEL being thrown at you
Bill definitely not click bait, we are not that sort of company. We clearly answer the question, as we say it's because of increasingly stringent emissions standards. We explain that the high flow cats we make used to be emissions legal, and despite running very clean they are now not because again, the standards have increased so much. If there is anything you feel is misrepresenting in that message, we'd be happy to hear it, thank you.
Well if it won’t pass inspection in NC You can’t get your license plate sticker so you can’t drive it so that’d be a negative…
Is there anyway around it ? Other than taking off downpipes and putting stock ones on.
No, the only legal car is the original unit or any aftermarket that is EPA or CARB certified

Yes, it will trigger the CEL and is not legal for road or emissions controlled vehicles.
Will they throw a CEL and will they "ready" the O2 sensor and catalyst and on-board emissions systems? Thats my specific question.
Our downpipes will throw a CEL.
@@034motorsport can I delete it with tune?

Clickbait. Video doesn’t answer question in title.
