This video was awesome! It's the reality sometimes... I painted every room in my house different colors and HATED it.... a year later I have 90% white walls because I can never make up my mind with decor! I love the peach it goes so well with your kitchen.
@@MyOrganisedBubble Nice video and your cute British personality is endearing. I went to B&M for the first time at Old Kent Road it was so small they hardly had anything nice or any d.i.y goodies. Your kitchen transformation was froggy awesome but I liked your old contact paper as it was more eye catching the wood look wasn't as nice maybe it was the shade you choose. Well done for trying but that was alot of hard work and effect on your part lol. The final look was very pretty and airy. Mines DC Fix marble but needs redoing now as I'm repainting my kitchen in new colours 👏👏👏👏
Your kitchen turned out so gorgeous!! We're redoing ours with dcfix to some safe neutrals pretty soon. :) Thanks for the detailed instructions. Honestly, this was better than most tutorials here! (And you're great at editing and absolutely hilarious :))
Barbie kitchen 😂 I actually like the wood effect for mine . But yes the grey looks better not feeling the peach 🍑 but maybe a very light grey might look good . But yes it looks fresh and clean.
I'm so indecisive it's actually a joke I've just got my apartment and Instead of actually making any progress I spend 5 hours a day on Pinterest and watching videos like this. Still don't dven know what colour to paint my hall.... I've ordered a pinkish paint from farrow and ball and going to attempt to paint my cupboards then I'm thinking a whitefish kitchen countertype but them my head fuked with that tiles
Love this vid. I have been thinking about dcfix for my worktops, but does it make them totally impractical? I take it you can't clean them with spray or put hot things on them?
Random.. but I found some amazing kitchen lights and thought of you as I know you like low kitchen lighting.. how do I share them with you ? I’m not on Instagram zz
Lol! I am so sorry it didn’t work out the way you wanted initially but the end result is fabulous!!! I love your personality! You are so funny and so real! Love that you openly shared the “fails”. We women tend to be so hard on ourselves. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
You make me laugh! I liked the wood effect but I do prefer the grey how you have it now for sure. I want to use some vinyl in my bathroom so this was helpful thanks lovely x

Having to watch the whole video again to find out the colours of dc fix you used because there not listed in your video description 🙈🤣🤣💜💜 you are so fun to watch we would be dangerous together i painted my entire kitchen 3 times 🥰🤣
I love your editing, the Eastenders clip was hilarious 🤣 You have a great personality and the video was very informative and honest. You did a really good job on your kitchen transformation. Thank you, for showing and sharing.
Great video! I don't know how you could be bothered doing the worktops over and over though. The original colour of them looked great with your floor and cabinets I would've left that as it was tbh I did my kitchen cabinet doors years ago and still going strong, plus used tile stickers but never did my worktops as I know how clumsy I am and they wouldn't have lasted five minutes. x
I love your honesty in this video, thanks for showing each stage, even tho you didn't like it. On another matter, where did you get your flooring from? It's exactly what I want for my house x
Absolutely love you! Had to subscribe 😊 you are so funny. Just wanted to know what was the name of the dcfix you used for the final result? Your kitchen looks 👌🏽

How are you not my pal ?hahaha Cracking kitchen! Can't beat a wee jaunt to b&m for some fablon! Loving the videos makes a nice change from hearing "heeeeeeeeeey guuuuuuuys" 🙄😒!
DC Fix has less tack than sellotape and will fail with heat and moisture. At 7 quid a role it's easy to see why. Ok if you want to keep changing it about but if you're after a really stylish authentic finish you need to get it pro installed with stuff like 3m that comes with a 10yr guarantee. Ok for short term fix.
I painted my sitting room 30 years ago in Burgundy and black which at the time I thought was very fashionable and white skirting until a friend of mine pointed out it was exactly the same colour as the Nazi flag I'm half Jewish so I've been travelled all the way back to the shop and purchased white emulsion which was white in the first place and because it was darker it took me fall coats to paint it as it looked in the first place then I started all over again with the brand new colour I can so relate pocket putting sticky back plastic on on work services in the kitchen sounds very straightforward trust me it isn't it's very very tricky and you've done a much better job than I did
Why do you chop and change your mind like that? I wouldn’t have the patience to waste so much time and money on the materials to do this it’s just mental your overthinking it. You did seem to be applying the sticky back plastic like a pro though must be all of that practice you had previously
I wasn't over thinking it, I just didn't like it. I'd much rather of liked it than have to change it again but you don't know until you try🤷🏻♀️ I've done it for other people before too so I'm used to using it.
Hahahaha!! Absolutely hilarious - without doubt my fave tutorial of covering kitchen surfaces. Glad you got there in the end. Looks ace now and yes to the grey door!

I literally just pulled it off and in my experience its come off completely fine but I've heard people use hair dryer to loosen it up.
