The Vinyl Cabinet doesn't really solve a *problem* that Vinyl collectors have. The Murphy Bar absolutely solves a problem for bars: they take up so much room space when they aren't active. By making the liquor cabinet and the bar into a single piece of furniture, it can appear when needed and disappear when needed. Definitely worth a closer look.
and honestly you don't even need to use it as a bar. for example in a cramped appartment or something it could be a miniature painting station that easily packs up and folds away when you are done with it
As a D&D game master with an out of control Kickstarter addiction... I'd really like to see Wyrmwood produce a modular shelving system for storing and either, concealing or showcasing all the source books and tabletop accessories I've amassed. ... Can line the walls with em next to the modular game table I ordered... Grow the shelving as my library grows... Could put magnetic rails in em to plug in dedicated mini display shelves and stuff maybe...
I spent a few hours today between Ikea and amazon trying to hack/bash together a shelf system for books, minis, paper, display shelves for collectors book, lighting. having a modular system would be AMAZING. Especially since I can buy parts over time since I don't have deep pockets. Investing in furniture!
@@ultrasupreme Yea. I've done the Ikea Amazon searching as well. Its hard to find shelving systems that will handle the big book sizes of hard bound source books without resorting to big ol pantry style shelves.
Seriously though. Imagine a nice set of shelves which could modularly change size. You could solve the problem of having to fit games into the kallax squares!
I need that Murphy Bar immediately, in Tavern Elm, it would be the absolutely perfect compliment to the modular game table we are getting and I *need* somewhere to store my 30+ bottles of Scotch!
This was amazing! So cool that this even happened. And MURPHY BAR! This seems like such a good collaboration! I was wondering why Michael's voice sounded familiar. I bumped into that video of the elevator table just a few weeks ago.
Tbe bar cabinet seems like a great idea because alot of apartments could use that as their storage cabinet and kitchen table. It's also a good display cabinet for collectibles or fine China.
Bedside tables. I would throw serious money at a nightstand that offered storage and charging cable management for multiple devices. Why doesn't anyone have a built-in cup holder so I can stop knocking my water off in the middle of the night!?
This right here. I have a storage bed that incorporates drawers and cabinets and whatnot into the bed and headboard. It also has an integrated night stand. It’s literally just a slide-out flat piece of wood. This is essentially all nightstands do. Wyrmwood and/or Michael could make something INFINITELY better. Cup holders, cable management, please yes please. I agree with TehHawtn3ss wholeheartedly.
That murphy bar is where its at! Make it with shelving just deep enough for d&d books and have the shelves inside adjustable. That way i can use it as an actual bar, or a fold out impromptu office space, a mini display cabinet, or a foldaway craft area.
Make that really awesome liquor cabinet with the drop down table, but modify it slightly so it's also good for 1v1 tabletop games. A smige wider, and add some accessory rails and BOOM.. ❤ Gamer Dry Bar Heaven ❤
Since you are already going sit stand desk, other wooden office furniture would be a good avenue to explore. A nice wooden file cabinet, or free standing drawers. His raiseable coffee table is an interesting idea that could potentially be incorporated into lilliput 2.0. A media center intentionally designed to hold modern gaming consoles and such, with intelligently designed cable management, would also be amazing.
My respect for Wyrmwood went even higher after watching this video! What Doug was saying about helping smaller woodworkers with an established viewers/customers and Wyrmwood become the manufacturing process for them was AMAZING!
You guys are the future of promotion, advertising, and manufacturing. Love this direction, passionate designers working with a passionate manufacturer.
This is by far the most excited I have ever been by any collaboration I've ever heard of! Michael's furniture is so crisp and modern. He has a great eye for design and he has inspired me to design and create furniture of my own. It would be an honor to have something that he designed in my home.
Like many others have been stating: The Murphy Bar. I mean what gamer wouldn't like that? (Well, the boring kind.) It saves room and would go well with the current MGT selection. Just add accessories, in the same magnetic vein as well. You could literally start making an entire game room furniture line-up.
You guys deserve a million subs! The editing and personalties of everyone is like a reality show. I'm only a casual tabletop player who hopes to be able to afford a table one day but just wanted say I love your content! Please don't ever stop making these videos
Oh look just two of my favorite RUclips channels meeting each other unexpectedly. That came as a shock. Maybe this will be the wyrmwood project I’ll go in on.
First thing that came to mind was TV stand, to stick to the "gaming" aspect of Wrymwood. A custom gaming cabinet or stand for councils, game storage, controller and headset storage could be a huge untapped market for you guys. 🎮 👌
I would love to see a murphy gaming table - I can't justify the space commitment that a full-sized gaming table would entail when I already own a regular dining room table, but to have something that can fold up and away until game night would be amazing!
Murphy Bar is totally there! Many bars don't have enough room to mix and serve and when you're NOT using them, they take up space. Also, if you could make a round bistro table big enough for two, that could then expand somehow to seat four, apartment-dwellers would love you!
MURPHY BAR!!!!! Slick and functional bar when entertaining, who really needs a bar when they're just at home. Still looks slick packed up. And a great storage solution! Plus, our dog is Murphy (boom, dog bed time in) please.
The Murphy Bar can be repurposed to so many different uses; A collector's cabinet, wet bar, work space, kitchen pantry with table, etc. I can see this being a big seller especially if you can add the patterned plywood as an upgrade finish option. I will definitely buy this with patterned plywood finish!
I'm a vinyl collector so I immediately tuned into Michael's channel for the video on that cabinet (it looks beautiful). I fully support Wyrmwood doing a "Creators Collection", just like how fashion brands bring in famous designers or celebrities', there should be no reason why Wyrmwood wouldn't expand and bring in some ideas from outside creators, looking over Michael's stuff, I'd love to see what he could produce for the gaming community.
Gaming version of the Murphy Bar - so something with drinks storage, but also storage for either board games, or all the D&D stuff, like books, maps, dice etc. Or even something like space for a TV screen, so that you have a pull down gaming table surface that you can use for board games or D&D. For those who don't have the space for a gaming table to be out permanently.
The food away bar seems like a good move. Especially for people who already bought a gaming table. It’s like hey want drinks guys. Then you proceeded to open the wall lol
Something like that murphy bar could be super interesting, a LOT of people are going for that space-conserving tiny home kinda deal these days, it fits that niche and it looks really cool.
All you have to do is leave a comment and Wyrmlyfe shows up at your house...
Nice hanging out fellas! looking forward to more 🙌
That’s awesome!!
I'm all for, you guys working together.
That was AWESOME! Love your work and Wyrmwood! Hope you guys work together!
Thanks Michael for giving a tour of your shop and getting to know you, I think you'll fit right in with the guys at Wyrmwood!
They'd be so disappointed showing up at my house. At least until my MGT arrives.

I just commented that it would be perfect for a 1v1 tabletop game station if it was just a smidge wider.
@@Goodzikc or just a work station with storage space for books etc.
Right, I would buy a folding liquor cabinet in a HEARTBEAT (after I have many long discussions on why it's so important with my wife).
Showing support for Murphy bar!
Wyrmwood should have a "Creators' Collection" subbrand like the Signature Series.
this is the idea
This is it.
A 100%!!!
This is a great idea!
Yes!
It was great meeting you guys at Michael's! Can't wait to see what you collaborate on 💯🙌
💯
that murphy bar looked pretty sweet. think there'd be solid interest in something like that
I'd certainly be interested in it depending on the price point.
Give me the murphy bar with some D&D feats, the murphy D&D Table. I WANT IT
Especially for people living in small apartments, 'bout the only reason I'm not buying the MGT is that I have no space to put it
You know I didn't realize that this channel only had 94k subscribers. I hadn't checked in so long I honestly thought Wyrmwood was at like 500k.
Same, for some reason I thought that they were at like ~250k.

I definitely second this. This would be a dream for my hobby and game rooms.

Fuuuck, yes, this, but my wallet cries...
Modular gaming shelves? My bank account is already weeping.
That Murphy Bar is amazing. You could market it to miniature painters (with like a daylight LED bar) if you're looking for a hobby.
As a miniature painter with a spouse who would prefer my painting items and desk were hidden, I think this is an amazing idea.
The Murphy Bar sounds interesting, and you could put a Wyrmwood spin on it and call it "The Apothecary".
It is so surreal seeing Wyrmwood and Michael Alm in the same video. It's like reading a Spiderman comic book, when all of a sudden Batman shows up!
With an XYZ in the comments aswell!!!
@@TheBobbytables :)
Board game cabinets! Right now all of us use IKEA Kallax’s.
A modular, board game collector cabinet would be the greatest.
How....how did you know about my Kallax?
@kapelannew we all have kallax. We all have them.
Ummm, hi. My name is FishHead and I have a Kallax problem.
That Murphy bar is an amazing idea, I'd absolutely be open to buying something like that
I think the Murphy bar with a little bit of the wyrmwood flair would absolutely make a killing
That Murphy Drinks Cabinet was really cool, I can see that taking off if Wyrmwood made it
Michael's work is beyond beautiful and I'm lucky enough to call him a friend. Also love how Miles randomly showed up. Good stuff!!
This was amazing! So cool that this even happened. And MURPHY BAR! This seems like such a good collaboration! I was wondering why Michael's voice sounded familiar. I bumped into that video of the elevator table just a few weeks ago.

Love to see the foldout bar as a crossover product, one tall full version, one shorter half version, both fully featured
That murphy bar is where its at! Make it with shelving just deep enough for d&d books and have the shelves inside adjustable. That way i can use it as an actual bar, or a fold out impromptu office space, a mini display cabinet, or a foldaway craft area.

I also thought Lilliput with the elevator table. Coffee table most days and expand to regular table height and extra room during game night.
I would probably buy a nice bookshelf if it was big enough.
The Murphy bar is the most intriguing he mentioned to me. Potentially a coffee table would be high on my list if it struck my fancy.
Honestly taking the murphy bar idea and making it hold books, minis, etc. Could be pretty neat.
Providing manufacturing for others who couldn't otherwise is just... *chef's kiss*
The Murphy Bar, just slowly go into making all the furniture needed for the ultimate Gaming Dungeon
I really dig that Murphy Bar, that is very nice indeed.
Murphy Bar! That piece is amazing and I already know where it is going in the house.
That bar was slick as hell, and the coffee table was damn fine too.
My respect for Wyrmwood went even higher after watching this video! What Doug was saying about helping smaller woodworkers with an established viewers/customers and Wyrmwood become the manufacturing process for them was AMAZING!
This makes me Happy. Wyrmwood starts doing crazy plywood patterned builds?!
One of the best episodes of the season! So fun. Love the Murphy bar table.

A folding bar that ALSO has magnetic accessory storage!
"This is nicer than your stuff JV" was so unintentionally funny
Michael is one of my favorite woodworkers to follow. He deserves the chance to put his creations out into the world! Best of luck
“Bananas………… We’re done with dog beds.” - the best line in the video
You guys deserve a million subs! The editing and personalties of everyone is like a reality show. I'm only a casual tabletop player who hopes to be able to afford a table one day but just wanted say I love your content! Please don't ever stop making these videos
OMG. I simply ADORE Michael Alm’s work. Super happy to see you all together in a collab!
I'd love that murphy bar, definitely the product I'd go with!
There are so many good creators on youtube, we need more wyrmwoods to manufacture their stuff in the US.
literally just finished watching his video
That bar...
I fucking love Doug. He's so smart and such a great businessman.
Welp, Winston got my dogs to go absolutely nuts in Omaha, NE. Thanks, Winston!
That Murphy bar! 😍
This is something i never thought would happen and its epic
That bar is a DREAM come true!
damn i just found wyrmwood recently and i already love you guys!!!! i might pick up some of your dice soon
That murphy bar is SO awesome.
The Murphy bar please absolutely that’s amazing!!!
A crossover I never knew I needed! I’m a big fan of both!
I love the idea of someone manufacturing Michael's designs. I love his elevator table but I don't have the space or the tools to build it myself.
I love these kind of episodes! Good on wyrmwood for seeing the potential, even if a collab does not work out. Highlighting other creators is cool.
I love Michael's channel! So amazing that y'all are going to be working together in the future! Really excited to see what this partnership puts out
Oh look just two of my favorite RUclips channels meeting each other unexpectedly. That came as a shock. Maybe this will be the wyrmwood project I’ll go in on.
Nightstand / Dog Bed combo, with extra bonus points if you can make it collapsible or hide-away
Collaborate on board game shelves or storage. Imagine specialized libraries of board games. Beautiful.
Going from Crazy Ed to Sane Michael seems like an upgrade.
This frees Crazy Ed up to do more.... interesting projects.

Murphy bar has just... so much potential outside its target use just- so many hobbies can use it. It's a super versatile product idea.

That Murphy cabinet is fire! I need it
MURPHY BAR!!!!! Slick and functional bar when entertaining, who really needs a bar when they're just at home. Still looks slick packed up. And a great storage solution! Plus, our dog is Murphy (boom, dog bed time in) please.
!!! lmao, i follow Michael already on here, was not expecting this
Murphy bar FTW. Wonderful for those of us with smaller houses.
Murphy bar? You mean drop-down crafting area! I'm also totally in love with that lifty table for having family pizza night on the couch.

THAT FOLD-OUT BAR IS SO COOL!!!!!! I could totally use thst for climbing gear and a work table!!!
Doug being being obsessed with dog beds is A+
That Murphy bar is so dope.
Murphy bar was amazing!
I spied a copy of Root. Any collaboration with Michael gets my approval.
Dougie, I have been watching Wyrmwood vids for awhile now but this one right here. This one made me hit subscribe. LET"S FUCKING GO!!!!!
I really likes that elevator table. The expandability for comfortable living room gaming would really hit a good cross section of your market audience
This is the most wild crossover since I've been following you both for so long
This was a great video! I always enjoy Michael's videos; they are always informative and inspirational, adding to my fund of knowledge.

Give me that fold out bar!!!
Bro... that Murphy bar was pretty amazing
I like it the Tavern Murphy bar, some kind of shelving for my books.
That Murphy bar looks amazing!!
That bar would be awesome to have.
If ya'll designed an extra tall nightstand I'd cry tears of joy for a week! I've needed a set for nearly 8 years to go with my extra tall bed.
I want one of those Murphy Bars, like yesterday!
Perfect design for a boardgame coffee table!
Dude has a dream shop and Doug's like it's so small!
Murphy bar + DnD sounds dope
The murphy bar is something i didn't know i wanted so bad
I’d love to see you collaborate on a board game bookshelf!
Something like that murphy bar could be super interesting, a LOT of people are going for that space-conserving tiny home kinda deal these days, it fits that niche and it looks really cool.
