  • Yes, it’s true that avoidant attachers want and deserve love. But too often people interpret this as a sign to try harder to get someone to open up and love them when they’re not willing, consenting or capable of doing so. Unless that individual is working on their attachment trauma this is potentially an indicator that you won’t get your wants and needs met in this relationship.

    They need THERAPY first to sort out their bloody issues. You cant fix these wounded souls.

    DAs need to date eachother so they can deal w trauma together otherwise stay the f away from everyone else!!!!

    How do we know that they are capable? I’m struggling with my avoidant partner, but over all, I think our relationship is evolving and getting deeper. That motivates me. But sometimes I doubt that he’ll be able to fully open up, since he even has physical intimacy issues.
