- A beautiful piece from the category “To Bach or not To Bach.” It can be Bach, it can be from his students, his sons, his entourage, but it’s found within his “ecosystem.” Bach or not, it’s a lovely Chorale Prelude! :-)
For the best listening experience, I recommend using headphones, earbuds, or a hi-fi set. The sound dynamics of the pipe organ are truly remarkable and can be fully appreciated with high-quality audio equipment.
Played with the organ from the Martinikerk in Groningen, the Netherlands (Hauptwerk)

Very nice Baroque piece for Monday morning!
Thanks!
A splendid performance of this Baroque music on a fabulous sample set: bravo, Rien! (I'm sure JSB would have been happy either way to be associated with this chorale prelude!)
Thanks Graham! This one would fit nicely in Bach’s BWV7xx series!
Beautiful performance of Bach.
Thanks! :)
Mooie compositie, mooi gespeeld!
Dank Nils!
A nice find, Rien! Sounds good enough for whatever baroque composer.
Thanks Ralph! Indeed, a nice piece, whoever wrote it.
Beautiful piece of music Rien.
Thanks Jan!
❤️
It does seem to have some leanings towards Buxtehude -- perhaps it's from Bach's earlier years while he was more closely influenced by the Buxtehude. Is there a date associated with it? In any case it's a very satisfying piece to hear -- especially as presented herein -- well-played.
Thanks. No we don’t know anything more about it. But it’s a nice Chorale prelude, especially the second part!
What a fine peice of music! As always, very well played also. Where can the sheet be found?
Thanks Claudio. I emailed you the score!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
If the question of the author arises, that of the quality of the writing and even... the quality of the interpretation .. does not arise!
Hahaha, thanks!
Very nice anyway ! I recorder a nice bwv that doesn't sound like Bach, and it turns out it has been written by Krebs.
This one could also be from Krebs. Thanks!
