Thanks for the review. What is the GP500 black level like? How does it compare to the XGIMI?

Great video as ever.. I Love Benq projectors. Would you mind telling me if the GP 500 is better than the Benq HT 2700i or the Tk 850i.. As I have a home cinema set up and am looking to upgrade.. Thanks

Had 2 XGimi projectors, one had a dead pixel out of the box and the other developed one about two weeks after the warranty expired. They are fully featured but I wouldn’t buy XGimi again. Maybe I was just unlucky but twice bitten …

Mine was going out of focus all of the time. Gave up and sent it back.

3:55 The motion on the BenQ seems really choppy/blocky compared to the Xgimi. Any idea what's causing that? I guess it might be something only the camera can see, but I wonder if it would make a difference on a subconscious level.

I definitly see this too and was wondering the same thing.

@@thegreengnome I ended up getting both. Didn’t see this problem in real life, but overall I preferred the XGIMI and returned the BenQ.

xgimi has a built in frames interpolation feature (aka true motion). not sure about benq though. with this feature enabled you get extremely smooth camera movements, animations etc.

Please can you do a nebula cosmos max 4K vs the xgimi horizon pro video please? I can’t make up my mind on which one to pick. I want to use the projector for indoor and outdoor use, But I don’t know which ones the best picture quality out of the 2. Thank you

Do the color difference still apply if I use the xgimi with something like an apple tv, that haves automatic color calibration?

This BenQ is on sale today for $1100 at Adorama. Really hard not to purchase it. A less version the Epson Mini EF12 is also on sale for $699, but's only 1080P and not as bright.

I ordered the Horizon Pro and the rainbow effect is really bad. I'm reading that the 4 LED of the BenQ might eliminate that. Can you comment?

Ordered the BenQ and it was just as bad. I kept the XGIMI.

If it doesn't have *3D Frame Packing* to watch *3D-BLU-RAY's* then it's not worth buying regardless of price.

Benq been making them for over 20 years. Always pick BenQ, Epson, Viewsonic. Those china projectors wont last
