- Part 2 of the BTOB GUIDE 2024 - and it had me crying laughing. Don't be mad at me, but I still have NO idea who my favorite member is... they all add so much to the group and have such different personalities that it's really hard to pick. It'll come.. maybe... eventually...

The older members truly cherish Sungjae because for the first three/four years of their career, Sungjae worked at both idol and acting (with several really big dramas - school 2015, Goblin and reality shows - we got married, king of the masked singer) that garnered BTOB the attention necessary in the entertainment industry that their music wasn’t until they released It’s Okay in 2015. The elder members always attribute much of their success because of Sungjae’s endless hard work in the early years, despite his family being ridiculously wealthy and not needing to work. When the elders were so busy after military service and then Sungjae came back from military and took a break, they said it was their turn to work and his turn to rest…it was really sweet.
Born To BTOB is definitely a BIG reccomendation!! It was their first reality show with all the members right in 2022 after their military service in their 10th anniversary. You can see their deep relationship and dynamic in it. But definitely, their music is their strongest trait! It's so high in quality, so perhaps their albums like Wind And Wish or Be Together. ALSO! Enjoy your holiday!
Hyunsik is the one in the group that, personality-wise, reaches both ends of the spectrum: he is stoic and serious but also the funniest member of the group, hands down.
One thing about Peniel is that he isn't afraid to sing even though he is not as experienced as the others or as confident; he will go all in for either shits and giggles or because some of the members ask him to (Changsub mostly "forces" him to sing his final lines in only one for me, one of their songs. go check it out cause it's the members complimenting P for singing and hyping him up, which is one of the many things I love about their bond)
Ilhoon is a great songwriter and producer; the songs he wrote for the group and others, and most importantly his solo album Big Wave are a testament to his talent, wit, and magic in the music field. Ilhoon is and always will be part of the group, we as a fandom still support him and wish him all the best in life.
Sungjae is the maknae on top, he runs the btob neighborhood but won't dare come close to Hyunsik even though I think he will be forgiven for everything he does; he is the one who makes fun of Eunkwang and Changsub, but everyone knows they are his favorite hyungs (trivia: he lives in the same condo as Eunkwang and recently we discovered that every time Changsub asked him to come to live in his neighborhood he did only to find Cs had already changed places lmao). The scene in which he was crying is because it was their last concert before Eunkwang and Minhyuk enlisted (and unfortunately the last b7ob concert as a whole group). Honorable mention is that Singjae never fails to thank his members when he receives awards for his solo career, and always mentions btob wherever he goes. Lastly, he came out with his first solo album a month ago, "exhibition: look closely" and participated in writing all the songs included in the album.
As far as the sub-units go, Eunkwang and Changsub asked their former label to create a trot song just for fun, and here they were being their silliest but amazing selves.

Sungjae has a new solo out
Thank you..been waiting for this second part. Yes, individually, each member has his own style and color..different personalities but really click together. In their more than 12 years of being together..they know each others' strength and weakness, they tease or even argue at times..but they never had a fight. All of them have that respect for each other and talk about things and settle problems. They really are like real brothers and best friends. They cherish Sungjae a lot..he may be the maknae but he plays a great role in BTOB's career. Coz he worked so hard as an actor and always promoted his group..making sure fans know that he's a member of BTOB & tells fans to check out their songs..also, whenever he received acting nominations, or awards..he never failed to mention his group members, thanking them for all the support. There was a time when he even turned down some acting projects coz BTOB activities were more important to him. To be honest, Sungjae didn't even have to be an actor or an idol to make money. His family is one of the richest in SK but you won't see him bragging about it or showing off. He was taught well about the value of money and he's proud with the fact that all his success now is the result of his hard work. And he also learns a lot from his members whom he really look up to as role models. This group not only has amazing voices and good music..they also have that genuine love and respect and a solid brotherhood tested by time. I'm so glad that you're able to watch this guide and learn more about them. To see them in both their funny and competitive side..kindly react to their reality show..it only has 6 episodes but so funny and heart warming at the same time. No one messes with Hyunsik except Sungjae because he knows his hyungdeul loves him so much that they would let him get away with his teasings. And yeah, Hyunsik also spoils Sungjae. Hyunsik is the eagle in their pyramid but Sungjae is their sun.
