@@LucarioShirona the Galar fossils are meant to represent the early history of paleontology. I think Dr. Alan Grant outfit is already has become the symbolic costume of Paleontologist ...
Like if someone ask "how paleontologists look like ?", we will automatically imagine Dr. Alan Grant ...
I was reminded of that one time Knuckles had a cowboy hat. My mind didn’t go there for some reason.
1:37 This guy got in front of God and he didn't even knew it.
Everybody there agreed that the Galar fossils doesn't exists. Nice.
But the relicanth is pretty neet.
This place was probably in production before Galar but even if Galar could be added they really couldn’t since none of those combinations actually exist. They’re 4 different animals just mixed together
@@supanerdreviews4056 Though it would make for a good exhibit on the early history of Paleontology, considering how many early attempts at reconstructing fossilized skeletons got wrong or mixed up.
@@Gunganfan yeah that’s true but they probably couldn’t recreate the skeletons of each half
That's not the reason. The Galar Fossils are more of a jab at some existing fossil mix ups. Since the proper designs of the Galar Fossil Pokemon doesn't exist yet in Official Media, you can't do much with them. Also they take away the educational value as the Galar Fossils are not truly complete.
@@LucarioShirona the Galar fossils are meant to represent the early history of paleontology. On occasion paleontologists would accidentally combine bones from different species thinking they were the same animal since they were found next to each other. Aside from that there was a period these mix ups were done on purpose because there was a rush to find new species so they can put their names on the discovery. Which is represented in the two scientists who found the fossils in the journeys anime.
Has anyone found out yet that Pikachu is dressed like one of the paleontologists from the first Jurassic Park movie?
I went to Japan ages ago and one of my biggest regrets was not having enough time to see the Pokemon centre in Tokyo thank god this wasn't here when I went because I would regret it waaaaay more it has my favriote Pokemon it's so cool
Does anyone else notice pikachu is dressed like Alan grant from Jurassic Park
Such a cool and educational way to teach other people about ancient fossils 😊❤
I like the fact that there are real life dinosaur facts among the Pokémon Fossils.
This seems fantastic, I wish the USA had more like this
Same, same
The USA should and could!
It’s really amazing to see the art style difference between the pokemon and their real-life counterparts. Such as the simplification of shapes or additions to silhouettes and colors to make them into Pokemon
Excavator Pikachu Is So Cute!
This is actually a pretty cool idea you're not just learning paleontology but also the inspirations behind the Pokémon.
do wish theres the galar fossils exhibit too but this i love all of this and wish i was there!!!
The perfect video for Pokemon Go Adventure Week; we’re seeing a lot of these guys in the wild until Sunday!
They forgot mamoswine tho not fossil but a extinct mammoth
Huh?....Still a fossil in real-life or in theory, just not with Pokémon logic, actually. It's just a much later prehistoric fossil creature/species of earth than the dinosaurs and their own direct/indirect ancestors Arcosaurs of Triassic, Cretaceous (the Mesozoic era)and Jurassic periods, that's all..But,I'd now - while I was replying - kinda get your point,too,though...lol...😌🙃😅✌🌈💎
Reminder that aerodactyl has a real life counterpart called the Aerodactylus
Ironically it's smaller than aerodactyl.
This place is a dream come true lmao
Yeah,indeed🙂
it's amazing how they compare dinosaurs with those types of pokemons.
Cool
I like the fact that their skulls are basically just their head but without eyes and original colors lmao, shows how tough their skulls were.
Where's the galar fossils?
This museum had this exhibit before Sword and Shield came out, so the Galar Fossil Pokémon weren't around at the time. Maybe someday in the future...
@@Pandachu123 oh I see..thanks for the info
all they needed was a "mashine" were they place a kabutops fossil in and then open another were guy in kabutops outfit pops out with some dry ice smoke.
👍
Why does japan always get the cool stuff their governments and companies must be very chill.
seeing ken sugimori drawing real dinosaurs is something I rlly like
Seeing the actual prehistoric animals in the Pokémon style reminds of Fossil Fighters and the vivosaurs, good times
This feels so surreal, like something they would do in the early 2000/2010's and you'd here about it years later for the first time, only it's happened this year.
lol okay this is nice
but they should also put the logic behind why these creature can breath fire / water? where that come from in their body?
Disappointed to see nothing on Armagasaurus besides that one picture!
I am happy this finally answered my confusion on whether Kabuto/Kabutops are intended to be a trilobite or a horseshoe crab.
Seeing actual animals in the pokemon art style is surreal
If only they would put this amount of effort into making good games.
This makes it seem like Pokémon is just an alternate universe away :0
